About the Team:
The Individual Giving department is part of the Fundraising and Marketing Directorate and brings in approximately £88m per annum through regular giving, one off gifts, prize led fundraising, community and events and legacy and in-memory. Our collective ambition is to build on our already successful portfolio of fundraising products and grow and diversify our income by 25% over the next five years through engagement and value exchange so that when people think dog, they think Dogs Trust.

Do you wish to be part of a growing and dynamic Fundraising team and support our Farming community? RABI, the leading UK farming charity, are seeking a fundraiser with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in generating income from trusts and foundations.
You must be a great communicator with experience in prospect research, writing funding proposals and developing relationships with trust representatives. This is an exciting time to join RABI as we develop a strategy aimed at raising seven-figure sums in 3-4 years to support the farming community.
As part of a growing and dynamic Fundraising team, your main duties will be to research trust and foundations, create and send applications and steward relationship with current and future charitable trusts. As part of the team, you will also be involved in generating funds across various other income streams.
Key responsibilities:
- Research and identify charitable trusts which may provide future financial support to RABI whilst maximising the potential for giving from trusts with which the Charity already has a relationship.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key trust representatives.
- Prepare, submit and monitor applications to charitable trusts including the maintenance of records of applications, grant receipts and successful/failed submissions. Ensure Trusts are thanked for donations in timely fashion.
- Updating the CRM system to ensure activities, communications, donations and other important details are accurately recorded and maintained.
- Compile statistical and background research to support the development of new and existing relationships with Charitable trusts.
- Monitor trust income for finance purposes, ensuring all donations or grants are coded appropriately, including any restrictions upon the use of the income.
- Creating monthly reports on trust income received.
- Support regular and individual giving, corporate, legacy and other income streams.
- Provide general administrative and wider Fundraising team support.
Person Specification:

- A minimum of three years’ experience of successful trust fundraising.

- Experience of using CRM systems to their full potential, interpreting donor data, analysing findings and making decisions based on your analysis. Knowledge and experience of the Donorfy platform is desirable, but not essential.
- Knowledge of the homelessness or social inclusion sectors would be desirable, but not essential.

The job
- We’re looking for an experienced and highly motivated fundraiser to join Chetham’s as Senior Development Manager to manage the development team in securing over £600k of income per annum across Chetham’s School of Music, Library and The Stoller Hall. This is a great progression opportunity for someone currently working in fundraising.
- Supported by the Joint Principals, Head of Communications, the Creative Commercial Director and the Board: The Senior Development Manager will drive forward fundraising at Chetham’s and ensure that storytelling is used creatively to promote our vision – to make music and education more accessible, to enrich the lives of people in Manchester and beyond, and to improve wellbeing through the magic of music and learning. - The ideal candidate will have 5+ years fundraising experience, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and confidence working with a range of different stakeholders. Experience working in a similar arts organisation with a track record of securing five-figure gifts and a knowledge of database systems is highly desirable.

We are excited to be looking for a part-time (3 or 4 days) Legacy Manager to join the amazing team at a fabulous national children’s charity. This incredible organisation exists to support every child facing challenges with talking and understanding words to help them face the future with confidence, and equip them with the skills they need to ensure they aren’t left behind and waiting to be understood.
This is a brand new role which was created to embed a relationship-led fundraising approach and presents the opportunity to develop and deliver the charity’s first proactive Legacy programme, promoting their cause and crafting compelling Legacy propositions. You will also be establishing and nurturing relationships with legacy givers, using your excellent storytelling skills to inspire generosity and engage long-term supporters.
To be a Legacy Manager, you will need:
- Proven success in Legacy giving and developing relationships with Legacy Supporters
- Ability to create compelling Legacy messaging
- A Strong understanding of relationships fundraising

About you
You will be a confident leader with strategic and critical thinking skills, and be the institutional champion of legacy giving at UCL. You will ideally bring experience from the charity or higher education sector, of delivering innovative and effective campaigns, and both income and expenditure budget management. We are looking for someone who has proven that they can design and launch this type of programme, in collaboration with the leaders of other fundraising income streams, and who has a deep understanding of best practice in this arena. About the role

The Head of Fundraising and Engagement will play the central role in continuing to draw new forms of income to support the College’s educational mission. Who we are looking for
You will have a track record of success in raising income in a charity environment, alongside knowledge of the requirements of the fundraising regulator and best practice in the sector.
You will bring experience of working across a range of income generation areas and activities, including membership, HNWIs, corporate, and trusts and foundations. It is essential that candidates demonstrate their ability to identify, build and maintain strong donor, sponsor and supporter relationships. You should also be familiar with managing engagement and communications programmes, particularly through digital means.
Candidates should bring experience of managing individuals or teams focused on income generation within a relevant setting and be able to demonstrate the impact of their leadership through the achievement of successful income generation activities.

The Legacy Giving Manager will collaborate closely with the Head of Fundraising to oversee the legacy and in-memoriam giving program.
