We are now looking for an exceptional Individual Giving Manager to join our Fundraising  and Communications Team to play a vital role in sustaining and growing this care. This is a rare opportunity to shape and lead an ambitious individual giving programme, helping to secure the income that allows our services to reach thousands of people every year.

In this role, you will take ownership of developing and delivering strategies across individual giving, appeals, regular giving, in-memory fundraising, lottery and legacy marketing. You will lead a dedicated team of four, creating and delivering engaging campaigns that inspire people to support Trinity Hospice, while using data and insight to continually refine and strengthen supporter journeys. Your work will focus not only on generating income, but on building meaningful, long-term relationships with our supporters and ensuring they feel valued and connected to our mission. 

We are looking for a motivated and creative individual with a strong background in individual giving or a related fundraising discipline. You will be a confident communicator, able to craft compelling messages that inspire action, and comfortable working with data to inform decision-making. You will also bring experience of managing or supporting others, with the ability to lead, motivate and develop a team in a collaborative environment. A proactive mindset, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities will be key to success in this role.

POST OUTLINE

A rare opportunity to create and lead Individual Giving and Legacies at a pivotal point of growth within an ambitious fundraising team.  This role will define the strategy and create and deliver on establishing income streams that will be central to future success.  It requires an experienced fundraiser who thrives on building; someone who can turn ideas into action and work at pace. 

Combining strategic thinking with hands-on delivery to develop programmes that deliver real impact and long-term value.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

The role will lead the creation and delivery of Individual Giving and Legacies programmes, establishing two core income streams that will drive sustainable growth.  It will define strategy, build insight-led, multi-channel programmes and design supporter journeys that deepen engagement over time, from first gift to long term support and legacy giving. 

Working across the organisation the postholder will embed a strong supporter focus, ensuring that fundraising is integrated into wider engagement activity.  You will take ownership of income performance, budgets and continuous improvement through data, testing and learning.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver the Individual Giving and Legacies strategy, covering acquisition, retention, regular giving and legacy development.
• Design and deliver integrated multi-channel campaigns to grow income and lifetime value.
• Build and optimize end-to-end supporter journeys, including pathways to legacy giving.
• Grow and develop legacy income including awareness, pipeline development and stewardship approaches.
• Use data, segmentation and insight to drive decision making, improve performance and increase retention.
• Set, manage and reforecast budgets ensuring delivery against income targets.
• Lead a test and learn approach, embedding continuous improvement across individual giving and legacy activity.
• Work collaboratively with marketing, services and wider teams to align messaging, case for support and supporter experience.
• Manage external agencies and suppliers to deliver high quality campaigns and strong return on investment.
• Ensure compliance with fundraising regulation, Gift Aid and data protection requirements.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Essential Criteria:

• Significant experience in Individual Giving and/or Legacy fundraising with exposure to both areas.
• Proven track record of delivering income growth through campaigns or programme development.
• Experience developing and delivering multi-channel fundraising activity.
• Strong understanding of supporter journeys, retention and lifetime value including pathways to legacy giving.
• Experience using data, segmentation and insight to drive performance.
• Experience managing budgets, targets and forecasting.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritise and deliver at pace.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Knowledge of fundraising regulation, compliance and data protection.
• A proactive, delivery focused approach with the ability to turn ideas into action.

• Experience developing or scaling a legacy programme.

As Legacy Executive for Battersea, you will have the opportunity to gain further skills and experience of the fast-growing charity Legacy sector. In this role, you will ensure the fulfilment of the wishes of those animal lovers who have been kind enough to remember Battersea in their Will and in turn will be of direct help to some of the most vulnerable animals in our society.

In this role, you will:

• Provide administrative support to the Legacy Administration team, who are responsible for the legacies left to Battersea.
• Manage your own caseload of pecuniary legacies, including corresponding sensitively and effectively with family and friends of the people who have left a legacy to Battersea.
• Have the opportunity to manage a caseload of non-contentious residuary cases, maximising the gift to Battersea.
• Build relationships with supporters, executors, family members and co-beneficiaries to maximise Battersea’s legacy income and protect the reputation of the charity.

The Operations and Development Manager is a senior leadership role at AALT, responsible for ensuring the organisation’s operational effectiveness, financial stability, and long-term sustainability.

They will join at a pivotal and exciting moment for the organisation, as AALT prepares to open the Anti-Apartheid Legacy Centre (AALC) at Penton Street and transition into a newly restored and developed building, establishing operations and embedding a resilient and ambitious model for the future.

As Legacy and In-Memory Manager you will be responsible for leading your team to drive transformational change, through the delivery of our legacy and in-memory growth strategy. 

You will set objectives and oversee team activity to deliver the entire legacy journey with the aim of achieving significant long-term growth in revenue income to support our ambitious plans to bring Maggie’s cancer care to everyone who needs us.

• Represent Greenpeace UK externally with professionalism, fostering constructive relationships with pledgers, executors, solicitors, and sector peers

Essential skills and experience:

• Substantial experience in charity legacy and estate administration, both contentious and non-contentious
• Significant knowledge of probate, trusts, tax, and property issues relevant to legacy casework
• Strong understanding of sector best practice in legacy administration and charity law
• Proven ability to manage a high-volume and varied caseload to deadlines
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Diplomacy, empathy, and resilience in handling contentious or sensitive cases

A legal, probate, or legacy administration qualification is advantageous but not required.

Fundraising Manager

MAIN PURPOSE:

 We are seeking an experienced and strategic Fundraising Manager to lead and grow a diverse income portfolio across multiple fundraising disciplines.

This is a leadership role responsible for contributing to and delivering a national fundraising strategy aligned to Brainkind’s organisational priorities, financial sustainability goals, and growth ambitions.

The postholder will manage and develop a small fundraising team, embed high-performance standards, and drive income generation across statutory trusts and foundations, major donors, corporate partnerships, community fundraising, events, and individual giving.

 MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Strategic Leadership

• Contribute to, develop and deliver a multi-year fundraising strategy to achieve sustainable income growth.
• Set and manage annual income targets exceeding £500k to £1m.
• Identify new income streams aligned to Brainkind’s service model and expansion priorities.
• Work closely with senior leadership to align fundraising with operational and strategic objectives.

Income Generation (All Disciplines)

Lead and oversee income generation across:

• Trusts & Foundations – Develop compelling proposals for health, social care and rehabilitation funding.
• Corporate Partnerships – Secure and manage mutually beneficial local partnerships.
• Community & Events Fundraising – Grow supporter-led activity nationally.
• Individual Giving & Digital Campaigns – Strengthen acquisition, retention and legacy programmes.
• Statutory & Health Sector Funding (where applicable outside commissioned services).

Team Management

• Line manage, coach and develop a small fundraising team.
• Foster a high-performance, collaborative culture.
• Set KPIs and ensure strong pipeline management and reporting.

Relationship & Stakeholder Management

• Act as an ambassador for Brainkind externally.
• Build strong internal relationships with operations, clinical teams, finance, and communications to gather impact data and case studies.
• Work closely with marketing/communications to strengthen brand-led fundraising campaigns.

Governance & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with fundraising regulations and best practice (e.g. Fundraising Regulator, GDPR).
• Monitor ROI and cost-effectiveness across fundraising activities.

ABOUT YOU:

• Knowledge of a broad range of fundraising and charity sector activities.
• Knowledge of legal obligations for fundraising activities and all internal procedures and regulations and adherence to best practices, as defined by the organisation and Institute of Fundraising Code of Practice & Fundraising Regulator
• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding fundraising income targets at £500k+ level (or comparable scale).
• Experience in managing successful campaigns, both digitally and within the community.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to analyse data and manager performance pipelines.
• Be able to research, identify and build on opportunities for fundraising initiatives.
• Creative and innovative.

The Legacy & In Memory (LIM) Marketing Team is responsible for increasing awareness and consideration for gifts in wills and/or an in memory gift. The team develop and deliver cross- funnel and multi-channel legacy consideration campaigns, supporter journeys and engage staff in the cross promotion of gifts in wills and in memory giving.

Our legacy income is growing, and the activities the LIM Marketing Team delivers is leading to long-term income growth to ensure that future generations around the world can change their lives with clean water.

About the role

As our Legacy & In Memory Senior Marketing Officer you will deliver a range of compelling communications to increase consideration for legacy giving and implement personalised stewardship journeys for our legacy and in memory supporters, as well as delivering engaging thank you events, and work closely with the Legacy & In Memory Marketing Manager to drive sustainable change.

In this role, you will:

• Plan, manage and execute print, email and digital campaigns across the marketing funnel to raise consideration for legacy giving
• Deliver exceptional stewardship, through personal communication journeys, for our Legacy and In Memory supporters
• Manage a legacy and high value supporter event programme
• Operate a rigorous test to learn methodology, regularly monitoring, evaluating and analysing campaigns
• Champion WaterAid’s commitment to equity, inclusion and safeguarding.

Requirements

To be successful, you will need:

• Proven experience in a direct marketing or supporter engagement role
• Proven experience in delivering and/or supporting on events
• Experience of developing and implementing supporter journeys across multiple channels

About the Role

As Individual Giving Manager, you will be responsible for acquiring, developing and increasing income from new and existing supporters through regular giving, appeals, campaigns, direct marketing initiatives and our established lottery. You will combine a target-driven approach with empathy and excellent stewardship, building strong, long-term relationships that support the hospice’s vital work.

You will line manage the Legacy and Philanthropy Fundraiser and the Supporter Care team, overseeing major donor relationships, Gifts in Wills promotion and administration, donation processing and the effective use of our CRM system. Working closely with the Director of Fundraising, you will also support the management and development of Weston Hospicecare’s mature lottery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all individual giving activity, reviewing, developing and delivering the Individual Giving Programme while analysing performance and maximising all income streams.
• Develop an annual programme of donor communications, collaborating with the Communications team to tailor approaches for different supporter audiences.
• Use insight and sector research to inform and strengthen fundraising approaches, ensuring the Individual Giving Programme is relevant, accessible and appealing to existing and new donors.
• Manage and develop our fundraising CRM system (Beacon), working with the Supporter Care team to ensure it supports income growth, stewardship and efficient administration.
• Represent Weston Hospicecare with donors and supporters, promoting the work of the hospice through positive and engaging conversations.
