We will work together with our members throughout this three-year journey. As a Circles Coordinator you will make a real difference to preventing sexual abuse and sexual violence. This varied and rewarding role means working with people who have sexually harmed, a team of local volunteers and public protection colleagues. Join our dedicated regional team of 12 staff and 180 volunteers working towards the vision of ‘No More Victims’ of sexual abuse.
About Circles South West
We are an award winning independent charity providing services that prevent sexual re-offending by people who have sexually harmed, as well as support services for non-offending partners, family and friends impacted. Our core service is Circles of Support and Accountability; a ‘Circle’ is a small group of local volunteers who assist the safe integration of an individual who has sexually harmed, meeting with them over a year or more. Working closely with responsible statutory agencies we provide a complementary risk management approach, making communities safer. Informed by our practice expertise, our training and consultancy for professionals is designed to enhance skills, knowledge and understanding in order that they can more effectively engage with people who sexually harm and contribute more widely to the prevention of sexual abuse.
About You
With experience of working with adults convicted of sexual offences, you understand how local communities can support risk management and be committed to the safe integration in the community of people who have sexually harmed. You will be skilled in the management and support of volunteers, the critical success factor for Circles. You will assess referrals, coordinate Circles, review progress and share relevant information with police and probation.

About the role

In this varied and rewarding role you will develop and coordinate our team of volunteers and Sessional Workers (zero hours youth workers). You will be instrumental in defining our volunteer strategy moving forward and identify other participation opportunities such as work experience placements, university placements, internships and apprenticeships.
You will also help develop internal engagement activities and participate in external awareness raising and fundraising activities, to support both volunteering and fundraising.
This role is for 22 hours per week, which will ideally be worked over 4 days. There is the option of hybrid working. We provide a surrey wide service, so the successful applicant will be willing to travel across the county to meet volunteers and sessionals as well as participate in engagement opportunities.

The Peer Support Coordinator will play a critical role in the delivery of Day One's Peer Support Service. The primary objectives are to ensure a high-quality service is delivered to our beneficiaries; to develop our regional peer support model; and to facilitate a positive volunteering experience for our lived experience volunteer team. Transition Together is seeking to continue the work of deepening connection and growing the voice of the Transition Movement in England and Wales through the freelance engagement of three Network Weavers. This exciting project will see this team, supported by Transition Together staff, co-design an in person Transition Assembly early next year to guide the future of our Movement in the UK as well as build relationships with Transitioners across Wales and England and connect to emerging and established networks across the UK. This is an exciting opportunity to provide clinical leadership and supervision to a number of therapeutic services within Richmond Borough Mind. Our developed and respected Psychotherapy and Counselling Service has been providing long-term counselling interventions to local residents since 1988. The service is self-funded and offers a range of therapies which aim to provide individuals with the support and opportunity to work through their difficulties in depth with a skilled and experienced trainee or fully qualified therapist. We also run a number of therapeutic, psychoeducational, support and peer-led one to one sessions and groups, training workshops and other activities.
We are looking for a skilled and qualified (or in advance training) counselling supervisor to provide clinical supervision, leadership, management and service development of our Psychotherapy and Counselling service. Colostomy UK is a national charity that offers support and advice to people who have had stoma surgery (ostomates) and to their friends, families and carers. Our projects empower ostomates to return to sports, hobbies and other activities after their surgery and give them the confidence to take on fresh challenges. About the role:
As the Volunteers and Support Administrator you will provide efficient administration to our support services and volunteer team. You will also undertake any admin duties involved with running the Colostomy UK office and support other members of the team. You will be answering and re-directing incoming calls on our stoma helpline. You won’t be providing support to callers; however you will need to have an empathetic approach whilst explaining that you will arrange a support call back from one of our volunteers. You will action calls that come through on our admin line and manage our central email inbox, ensuring requests are actioned promptly. You will organise volunteer rotas, help with onboarding our volunteers and organise incoming and outgoing post. The postholder will take minutes at meetings, ensure the office is kept tidy and co-ordinate stock delivery for events and exhibitions.

Job purpose
The post holder will be responsible for providing holistic care and support to children and young people (CYP) who have life-limiting conditions and their families as a key member of the community team. This care is provided in the family’s own home, in the community, and support into the hospices and acute settings.
The post holder will be the first point of contact for families following acceptance to the service and the nurse is responsible for undertaking a holistic assessment of the child and family’s needs. The post holder will provide high quality palliative care to CYPs under the care of Shooting Star Children’s Hospices, using their skills and expertise in a diverse range of situations, autonomously and as a member of the community team. The post holder will have excellent communication skills, be a sound educator, and work proficiently.
They will work closely with the SSCH in house team, family support team and symptom management services to ensure a seamless and comprehensive service to CYP and their families.
SSCH care is provided 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, the post holder will be required to work flexibly to meet the needs of planned and emergency care, including on calls overnight and weekends in addition to contracted hours.
Key tasks and Responsibilities
• Providing professional clinical leadership in the provision of palliative care across care settings for CYP under the care of SSCH.
• To work in partnership with the SSCH care teams and wider MDT, demonstrating excellent communication skills to ensure high quality seamless care.
• To ensure that holistic care is family centred, research based, and meets with all statutory requirements and adheres to clinical governance initiatives and best practice.
• Provide support to CYPs and their families where required through community visits to hospital, home or hospice alongside relevant external professionals from statutory services.
• Maintain an awareness of the multi-cultural nature of the SSCH catchment area, adapting care culturally as required.
• To ensure all documentation is maintained in accordance with SSCH policies, guidelines and standards.
• To act in accordance with the SSCH and statutory Safeguarding Children Policy and Procedure.
Clinical
• To be actively involved with the on-going development of the SSCH care service, in particular the community team, contributing to development through research, audit and quality improvement.
• Provide clinical support and continuity of care to CYPs with palliative needs.
• Work alongside specialist symptom management teams to assess symptoms and provide clinical feedback to form part of decision making under the lead of the specialist services.
• Ability to follow an agreed symptom management plan and liaise with teams to offer high level care in the home as needed.
• Working in partnership with all members of the MDT, encouraging and promoting effective team working from all disciplines within SSCH.
• Attend professional meetings as a representative for SSCH and provide proactive input to ensure high level care for CYPs and families.
• Coordinating transition to adult services when appropriate in conjunction with the transition coordinator.
• Ensure written communication and correspondence is used to communicate with external professionals and services.
• Form part of the community on call service in conjunction with statutory services to endeavour to offer a responsive 24/7 service in end of life care.
Quality / Audit / Research
• Enhancing the interface between the community team and user involvement into the development of the service.
• To share professional expertise with Care Team colleagues, providing support and training where appropriate.
• To work to the SSCH medicine policy and adhere to the NMC guidelines at all times when giving medication.
• Participating in audits with the clinical governance facilitator to maintain and improve clinical care.
• In collaboration with the team, producing and reviewing operational policies and procedures specific to the team.
• Attending the Morbidity and Mortality meeting and having a proactive input.
• To take responsibility for your own lone worker safety, support the team and comply with SSCH policy/practices.

Leadership
