About Trans Celebration
Trans Celebration is a trans-led, grassroots human rights and community organisation working to uplift and empower trans and gender-diverse people across the UK. We are seeking an enthusiastic and organised Public Relations (PR) Assistant Volunteer to help manage our public image, develop media relationships, and support communication efforts that celebrate and elevate trans voices.
Job Summary
The PR Assistant Volunteer will support the development and execution of public relations strategies that raise awareness of Trans Celebration’s mission and campaigns. You’ll work closely with the communications and marketing team to craft press releases, build media contacts, coordinate outreach, and assist with managing our public-facing messaging.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft and edit press releases, media advisories, and official statements.

FareShare Greater Manchester is looking for safe, confident drivers to join our busy, friendly delivery team.
We re-distribute tonnes of surplus food a month to charities and community initiatives across Greater Manchester. This is an achievement of which we’re proud, and want to expand and is why we need your driving and delivery skills to support our growing operation, especially in these current times of increased need.
Key responsibilities
Driving a van to deliver surplus food orders to the premises of the various Community Food Members we support.
Loading and unloading the vehicle and carrying out a range of tasks, from basic vehicle checks to delivery administration.
As a Delivery Driver at FareShare, you will be driving a temperature-controlled 3.5 tonnes Mercedes Sprinter van; working closely with a Driver’s Assistant to re-distribute food orders to the premises of a wide variety of Community Food Members. You will be involved with loading the vehicle and carrying out a range of tasks, from basic vehicle checks to delivery administration.
The required skills and attributes are as follows. You must:
Be aged 25 or over, with a clean driver's licence (or a maximum of 3 points).
(Experience of driving a van is desirable though not essential).
Be reliable and be able to commit to pre-agreed volunteer shifts.
Be physically fit to take on moving and handling of food orders.
Possess the ability to follow procedures and instructions.
Have good verbal communication skills.
Have a high respect for Health & Safety standards and procedures.
Have an interest in the work of FareShare Greater Manchester and our values.

Thousands of people from across the UK will take part in our fun and family-friendly, sponsored Wellness Walks. It’s a chance to get out outside, take a deep breath, seize the day and change the world for everyone affected by diabetes.
There are currently 3 Wellness Walks held across the UK. We ask our walkers to think about their wellbeing and make a few small changes to how they live their lives, so that they can begin to feel healthier.
The walks are between 8-10 miles and are fully accessible – so pushchairs and mobility scooters are welcome.
Route volunteers guide walkers accurately and keep enthusiasm high. You must be aged 16+ to volunteer for this role (16 - 17 year olds must with be with a parent or guardian aged 18+), Volunteers in these roles will be positioned at key points on the walk route and will:
- Ensure walkers are heading in the right direction
- Motivate and cheer people on as they walk past your position

FareShare Greater Manchester is looking for volunteer Driver's Assistants to join our busy friendly delivery team with redistributing tonnes of surplus food a month to charities and community initiatives across Greater Manchester.
FareShare is a national charity fighting food poverty and global warming by tackling food surplus. We source overstocked food from retailers and manufacturers and engage many volunteers to help re-distribute it to over 220 frontline charities and community groups across Greater Manchester. These groups, in turn, provide meals to vulnerable people experiencing food poverty, individuals who are homeless, families, and people who are unemployed or socially isolated. This food would otherwise have gone to waste, so we are simultaneously supporting people in need and reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
Key responsibilities

Over Easy Solar is a provider of vertical bifacial solar units for green and flat roofs, based in Valencia and Oslo. Our prefabricated VPV solar units offer a lightweight, ballast-free solution for rooftops, delivering high-value energy production. We envision a future where all flat roofs generate locally produced, clean, renewable energy.
We are looking for a Volunteer Graphic Designer to help us bring our brand and product communications to the next level with professional, creative, and impactful designs.
What You'll Do
Design brochures, flyers, and presentation templates for brand and product communication
Create compelling visuals for use across social media, website, and customer-facing materials
Support the preparation of exciting new initiatives (to be revealed soon)
Potentially develop simple video content or animations to promote our solutions

Position Summary:

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Talent Leadership

Foster collaboration between the TA, workforce planning, and Onboarding teams to ensure seamless handover from hire to Day 1 readiness.
Recruitment Excellence

Oversee sourcing, selection, and offer management processes, ensuring efficiency (e.g., time-to-fill ≤30 days) and quality of hire.

Optimise the use of tools and metrics to drive data-driven recruitment decisions.
Onboarding & Documentation Readiness

Ensure flawless onboarding processes, including right-to-work checks, contract execution, and pre-employment compliance (e.g., UK right-to-work, GDPR).

Audit onboarding documentation for accuracy and audit readiness, addressing gaps in collaboration with Legal and Talent Advisory.
Compliance & Risk Mitigation

Ensure adherence to employment laws, data protection regulations, and internal policies across TA and Onboarding.

Resolve escalated issues (e.g., background check discrepancies).
Stakeholder Collaboration

Partner with diverse stakeholders to streamline onboarding logistics (e.g., system access, equipment provisioning).

Requirements:

Education & Certification: CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent (e.g., Bachelor’s degree in HR Management, SHRM-CP, or PHR certification).

Experience: 8+ years in talent acquisition and onboarding, with 3+ years managing multi-functional teams (TA and Onboarding).
