ROLE PURPOSE
This position involves identifying and prioritising potential donors capable of making significant contributions to help us deliver a range of projects aimed at enhancing the student experience and supporting the local community. By providing the Development and Fundraising Team with tailored and insightful research, this role will enhance the prospect funding pipeline and facilitate the cultivation of a diverse pools of donors, including individuals, grant-making trusts, and companies. This role will also manage a well-structured stewardship program for donors. Responsibilities include promptly acknowledging donations, creating personalised impact reports, and overseeing bi-annual events which recognise and celebrate their support.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
· To maintain and develop the University’s database of fundraising prospects through proactive identification, analysis, and segmentation, (individual and aggregate) record updating, and original research, including the identification of new prospects.
· To prepare prospect profiles (which may include wealth ratings), and work with relationship managers to devise appropriate tailored cultivation and solicitation plans, enabling appropriately targeted fundraising asks.
· To develop and manage reporting in the database across fundraising portfolios to help ensure prospects are strategically moving along the prospect pipeline towards major gift solicitation • To produce and provide due-diligence reports on prospective donors as part of the University’s gift acceptance procedures.
· To deliver an annual donor recognition event to acknowledge and celebrate the support of the University’s most generous supporters.
· To organise smaller bespoke events for higher level donors to the university, for example, site visits to project sites and/or opportunities to meet student beneficiaries.
· To write insightful and impactful bespoke reports for donors supporting the University, ensuring reports demonstrate the positive impact of support and encourage repeat gift solicitation from the fundraising team.
· To keep abreast of regulations, including the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) ensuring that all prospect research and cultivation is compliant and understood by fundraisers.

CONTEXT
The primary purpose of the Development team is to secure philanthropic income to support the delivery of the University’s Being Westminster 2022-2029 strategy. The Development team forms part of the Global Recruitment, Admissions, Marketing and Communications (GRAMC) directorate. The team also works closely with the Business Engagement Directorate to deliver an integrated approach to the University’s relationships with its key external stakeholders. The Development team collaborates with the Alumni Relations team to inspire and engage the University of Westminster’s vibrant, global community of alumni and supporters to build lifelong and mutually beneficial relationships with the institution.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Working closely with the Executive Director of Feedback Global, as well as with other members of the senior team and the Executive Director of Feedback EU, the Fundraising Manager will develop and implement a strategy to raise funds for Feedback Global and Feedback EU, with a target of £3m yearly income across both organisations by the end of 2025.
The overwhelming majority of the funds raised will be from trusts and foundations, and so the role will primarily consist of researching potential trusts and working with the different teams to research and write compelling concept notes and applications. As such, the postholder will be expected to proactively keep informed about developments in the food, social justice, and environmental sectors. The postholder will also lead on reporting to these funders and maintain and develop these relationships. Goals4Girls, a pioneering charity in girls & young women's football and educational development, is seeking a new Fundraising Specialist as the charity enters an exciting new phase in its service delivery and growth plan. The focus for 2024 and beyond is on expanding and financing the delivery of our new social prescribing & football programme strategy. This will focus on developing new corporate partnerships & community engagement alongside embedding the G4G fundraising strategy across our operational structures. The postholder will cultivate and develop strong relationships with potential donors, HNW individuals, statutory bodies, foundations & trusts.
This role offers an amazing opportunity to shape and lead our fundraising strategy, contributing significantly to the growth of our School Development Programme and Football Development Centres. The post holder will work with the Chief Executive Officer and the operational team to implement an income diversification strategy which supports the work of G4G through securing unrestricted and restricted income streams. The successful postholder will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with all regulations and best practices for fundraising in accordance with the Charity Commission and relevant fundraising regulators.
This role would suit an allrounder with experience of developing corporate charity partnerships preferably from a sports fundraising/marketing background, grant applications and income generation activities. The postholder will need to be passionate about raising funds to help break barriers & increase access to girls' football. About You

Planning and Management

You will play an integral role in planning and delivering our flagship annual Night of Light Gala, working closely with our Event Lead and the rest of the Philanthropy Team on this dazzling event. The Role
Reporting to the Senior Corporate Partnerships Manager, the Corporate Partnerships Manager will generate income and impact for the Stroke Association by identifying and winning new partnerships with businesses that have an affinity to our cause.

This role will be predominantly focused on business development and will involve regular travel. Key responsibilities will include:
· Securing individual income target and contribute to the overall team target
· To research companies and develop proposals, applications, and pitches
· To work with the Senior Corporate Manager to establish a clear and prioritised list of target companies whose values and objectives align with the Stroke Association’s, ensuring timely and appropriate approaches with the support of relevant departments.
· Potential to personally manage partnerships once business has been secured, with the possibility of taking on management of existing partnerships to help grow and uplift the value they deliver.
· To sell in fundraising products to potential partners, often on a cold calling basis, and to contribute creative fundraising ideas to help the Corporate Partnerships team develop new fundraising product ideas for proposals, applications and pitches
About You
We need someone with creativity and flair. Someone who can marshal emotions, facts and figures to help us put stroke on the map. An ability to influence both internal and external stakeholders to articulate the value of corporate partnerships to all parties will be crucial.
You will have a proven track record of:
· Securing and/or managing partnerships (in the charitable or private sector) worth £6-figure+ sums across a variety of income streams e.g. strategic, Charity of the Year, sponsorship
· Making successful cold approaches to potential supporters/clients
· Partnership delivery including experience of deepening and broadening partnerships to increase their meaningfulness and longevity
