Job description

We are pleased to be working with a children’s charity who are looking for a Senior Relationship Manager, Philanthropy to join their growing fundraising team. This role is perfect for somebody looking to take the next step in their career by leading a team of ambitious Relationship Managers, whilst developing and managing key Philanthropy relationships.

The charity is looking for a self-motivated and target-driven individual who has proven experience in securing significant funding for both existing and proposed new projects. You will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of Major Donors, ensuring that income targets are delivered. You will also be responsible for line managing three direct reports, enabling them to maximise their potential and growth of sustainable income.

You will need:

  • A proven track record of establishing and managing high value funding partnerships
  • The ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders that have differing priorities
  • Demonstrable success in developing and implementing strategies, plans and achieving targets
  • To be able to craft written funding proposals to a high level
  • To maximise opportunities throughout the year, thanking current supporters and engaging new prospects

Location: London

Salary: £37,000-£47,000
