The Manager, International Philanthropy is part of the International Philanthropy team which focuses on raising gifts from individuals based outside of the U.S. and will support the activities of the team in managing donor accounts and coordinating day to day activities of the Senior Director and Director as required.
Major Responsibilities
• Collaborate with frontline fundraisers to implement strategies for high-net-worth individual donors and prospects within donor portfolios, bringing in critical revenue for the organization
• Draft and edit donor-facing communications, including letters, emails, contact reports, and tailored correspondence supporting donor engagement.
• Coordinate with internal teams to develop high-quality concept notes, proposals, presentations, and reports, managing drafts through final approval and formatting.
• Prepare agendas, briefings, and materials for donor meetings, prospect conversations, and internal strategy discussions.
• With fundraisers, act as the liaison between donors or prospects and field staff, ensuring both parties receive the most critical information and that it is communicated clearly and strategically reflective of its audience.
• Collaborate closely with Prospect Research and Management teams as well as Analytics and operations staff to co-lead and track the entire donor cycle.
• Support the planning and delivery of stewardship and cultivation events for international high-net-worth donors.
• Update the donor database (Salesforce) to maintain portfolio assignments, draft and update giving proposals, request prospect research, monitor report requirements and submissions, track ongoing donor communication and activity as well as additional relationship management duties.
• Support payment processing and ensure documentation complies with IRC and donor requirements.
• Provide operational and administrative support to the Senior Director and Director, including scheduling, travel coordination, and preparation for board or leadership meetings.
• Maintain teamwide systems, materials, and processes, support onboarding for new team members, and contribute to special projects as assigned.

Skills, Knowledge and Qualifications:

You will be joining a team focusing on supporting our work with young people accessing creativity and employment in the creative industries and directly supporting the creative studios which sit below our venue.
As part of a team of 5, raising £700k for the current year, rising to £1m by 2028, as part of an overall fundraised income goal of £6 Million. The role reports into the Head of Philanthropy and sits within the directorship of Partnerships and Impact, which also holds the organisation’s programmes with young people and public affairs. You’ll manage a junior members of the team as well as working closely with our Events manager and Principle gift lead.
You’ll be responsible for driving your own portfolio of 90 prospects and donors, including 4-figure and 5-figure levels.
A day in the life of a philanthropy manager could begin with researching and identifying prospects from a recent event; giving a studio tour to prospective donors and enthusing them about our youth programme; preparing a report for a major donor about our work with young entrepreneurs; and ending the day in the members bar with a current supporter who’s there for a gig.
Weekend and evening work will be required according to business needs, mainly through attending departmental events with donors and attending the members bar.
About you:
We would expect applicants to this role to have at least 3 years previous experience in managing a portfolio of prospects and donors and securing gifts toward charitable aims or projects. The ideal candidate would also have management experience of staff or volunteers and of working in a team towards a shared fundraising goal.

Dogs 4 Rescue is looking for a Fundraising Manager to drive our growth and build deep relationships with our supporters. This is a hands-on role which includes lots of interactions with packs of dogs.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver fundraising, communications and engagement strategy aligned to D4R’s long-term vision.
- Create and oversee compelling storytelling across campaigns, digital channels, press and events.

About the role
The Senior Legacy Manager will lead the development and delivery of London’s Air Ambulance Charity’s legacy programme, ensuring legacy giving is embedded across fundraising and marketing activity and is front of mind across the organisation.
This role is responsible for managing our legacy marketing programme, working closely with the marketing team to deliver compelling, sensitive and effective activity. Working across the Fundraising and Marketing Directorate, the Senior Legacy Manager will champion legacies as a vital form of support, collaborating closely with all teams in the directorate. We are looking for a Global Events Manager (Fundraising), to develop and lead a Global Events Strategy for all fundraising-related events including Philanthropy, Mid-Level and Legacy, as well as involvement in wider organisational events, to engage and inspire mid-level and major donors and funders.
This role focuses on high-value donor engagement, rather than mass participation fundraising. You will lead events such as major gift donor receptions, mid-level donor gatherings, legacy supporter events, and occasional internal team away days.
This is a Surrey based Hybrid role with 2 days a week in the office.

The Role
Event Strategy, Planning & Execution Take primary responsibility for coordinating and delivering innovative fundraising events, including in-person and virtual events, that engage and inspire mid-level and major donors globally.
Donor Stewardship Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with mid-level and major donors, providing exceptional stewardship and personalised communication to increase giving through events.
Fundraising Strategy Develop creative event-based fundraising strategies to engage new donors and retain existing ones.
Collaboration Work closely with the Global Fundraising and Communications teams to develop compelling event content and donor engagement strategies.
The Candidate
Proven track record in planning, coordinating, and delivering successful fundraising events, both virtual and in person, with a focus on donor engagement.
Experience in managing mid and major donor portfolios, including cultivation, stewardship, and soliciting gifts.
Experience in managing high-value events, such as gala dinners, donor receptions, and exclusive donor webinars.
Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to create compelling content for event materials and donor communications.

Fundraising Manager

The Opportunity
This UK-registered humanitarian charity is committed to breaking cycles of poverty through practical, sustainable and dignified support. Working from the London office, the Fundraising Manager will lead income generation across trusts and foundations, corporate partnerships, individual giving, community fundraising and events, helping to strengthen supporter relationships and grow the donor base.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and deliver an annual fundraising plan to meet income targets and diversify revenue streams.
Identify and pursue new funding opportunities across trusts and foundations, corporates, major donors, individual giving, community fundraising and events.
Produce high-quality funding enquiries and applications, working with finance on budgets and a full cost recovery approach where appropriate.
Build and steward relationships with funders, corporate partners, major donors and individual supporters, ensuring timely acknowledgements and impact reporting.
Plan and deliver fundraising campaigns, appeals and events, using KPIs and insight to maximise engagement and income.
Maintain accurate records on the CRM (Salesforce), ensuring GDPR compliance and supporting reporting, reconciliation and Gift Aid processes.
The Candidate
Minimum 3 years' experience in charity fundraising, with a proven track record of personally securing significant income (c. £200,000+ per annum).
Demonstrable success securing grants from trusts and foundations, including applications for £10,000+ awards.
Experience developing corporate partnerships and cultivating major donors/HNWIs.
Excellent writing skills with the ability to produce clear, persuasive applications, proposals and supporter communications.
Strong organisation, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing deadlines; confident presenting to varied audiences.
Comfortable with data and systems, including CRM use (Salesforce preferred), and a working knowledge of GDPR, Gift Aid and fundraising best practice.

About the Role
The Development Operations team enables all philanthropic income across the Barbican. As we prepare for a major comprehensive campaign and significant growth in activity, The Development Manager, Operations is central to strengthening the systems and infrastructure that support our fundraising.
You will lead a team spanning CRM, prospect research, events operations and audience giving, ensuring the department has the systems, insight and financial rigour to deliver sustainable income growth at scale.
In this role, you will:
• Lead and improve the systems, policies and processes that support fundraising, embedding best practice and driving efficiency.
• Oversee Development finances, including income tracking, forecasting and budgeting, working closely with Finance to ensure accuracy and insight.
• Act as strategic lead for our CRM (Spektrix) and data environment, overseeing reporting, gift processing, data integrity and compliance (GDPR, Gift Aid).
• Support the administration of the Barbican Centre Trust, ensuring statutory compliance and high-quality support to Trustees and senior stakeholders.
• Manage and develop a high-performing Operations team, setting clear priorities during a period of growth and change.
We’re looking for someone who brings:
• Significant experience in fundraising or charity operations (arts sector experience desirable).
• Strong financial management skills, including budgeting and forecasting.
• Deep CRM expertise (ideally Spektrix) and advanced Excel skills, with the ability to turn data into actionable insight.
• A solid understanding of charity regulation, Gift Aid and GDPR.
• Excellent communication skills, with confidence preparing reports and papers for senior leaders and Trustees.
