About the Role

Working with the Director of Fundraising and Communications, you will lead the development and delivery of Embrace’s supporter retention and donor development strategy, building deep and lasting relationships with individuals, churches, and communities. You’ll be responsible for shaping the full supporter lifecycle, from onboarding and ongoing relationship building to reactivation, cross-engagement, and long-term value growth. This is a role that blends strategy, creativity, and data insight, requiring someone who can hold the big picture while empowering a diverse team of fundraising and subject matter experts.

You’ll have:

• Proven experience in supporter engagement, donor retention, and income growth strategies.
• Strong analytical skills, experience using data for segmentation, trend analysis,
• and performance optimisation.
• Strategic thinking, with the ability to innovate and diversify income streams.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with an ability to lead and develop high‑performing teams in hybrid/remote settings.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects from planning to delivery.
• Knowledge of UK fundraising regulations, GDPR, and ethical practice.

About the Role

As our Director of Finance and Resources, you’ll be a key member of our Senior Leadership Team, leading on:
 

• Strategic financial planning and advice for future growth and sustainability of the Charity

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:
 

• Professionally qualified (or equivalent) in finance management and accountancy
• Experienced and deeply knowledgeable in senior financial leadership and strategy development in the voluntary sector/an equivalent size charity 
• A skilled and experienced leader and manager of people, contracts and major service change projects
• Collaborative, analytical, and proactive in problem-solving
• Committed to feminist principles and to equity, diversity, and inclusion
• Ideally also skilled in overseeing IT, building and premises management and information governance, with training and support available where required. 

As well as experienced Directors, this role would also suit an exceptional Head of Finance looking to step up into their first Director role.

About the Giving Directorate and Net Zero Carbon Programme

What you'll be doing

As the National Fundraising Policy and Compliance Lead you will be the strategic lead for ensuring a strong culture of fundraising compliance and best practice within the Church of England. You will work within the Net Zero Carbon Fundraising team, which co-ordinates the biggest national fundraising programme within the Church of England, to support them to raise significant funds for the Net Zero Carbon Programme in an ethical and compliant way. You will also work with the Giving Directorate to ensure compliance across all their activities. You will create guidance, tools and resources that dioceses and local parishes can use to ensure they are compliant with key fundraising regulations, and create and deliver the training and case studies to support them. You will proactively advise the Head of Net Zero Fundraising on emerging topics of fundraising policy, such as the use of AI in fundraising and changes to key regulations.

The Role

Role Responsibilities  

• Manage and respond to those who contact UK for UNHCR directly by email, phone or mail and escalate queries where necessary.
• Deliver a first-class supporter experience and ensure each point-of-contact works to build and develop the engagement journey.

• Assist with fulfilment agency briefs and quality control measures.
• Work with teams, agencies and third-party platforms to deliver donation processing and campaign fulfilment, ensuring efficient donor acknowledgment
• Support fundraising teams during emergencies.
• Support the fundraising team to deliver high quality in person events in as well as virtual stewardship events.
• Provide personalised in-house thanking for different supporter segments and deliver thanking initiatives such as a thankathons.
• Provide logistical and administrative support for supporter engagement activities and stewardship events, including coordination of materials, attendance lists and on-the-day support.

The Role

The Income Generation Director plays a pivotal leadership role in enabling Devon Air Ambulance to deliver its mission through strong, trusted relationships with the public, supporters, partners and stakeholders. You will be responsible for the strategic leadership of income generation, communications and public engagement, as the Income Generation Director brings together fundraising, marketing, communications and commercial activity to grow support for Devon Air Ambulance and generate long-term sustainable income.

About the role
This is a varied, entry-level role offering hands-on experience across programme delivery, fundraising, communications and administration.
