Churches Conservation Trust (CCT) is the national charity caring for historic churches at risk. As the operator of the third largest heritage estate in charitable ownership in the UK, our 356 historic churches include examples of irreplaceable architecture, archaeology and art from 1,000 years of English history.

CCT has an international award-winning reputation in heritage conservation and regeneration. All churches in our care are listed, mostly Grade I and II*, and some are Scheduled Ancient Monuments.

Without our care, these buildings might have disappeared entirely. Instead, they are enjoyed as social, tourism, educational and cultural resources, kept open, in use, and living once again in the heart of their communities.

Overall job purpose

 The National Office Administrator will support the organisation from our National Office. They will provide key administrative support to central teams, including:

· Communications

· Conservation

· Fundraising & Membership

· Finance

· Human Resources

· Information Governance & ICT

This support will enable teams to undertake their tasks effectively, efficiently, and promote quality experience for our supporters. The post-holder will develop relationships across CCT in supporting teams, maintaining a proactive, dynamic workplan in support of central operational requirements and national initiatives. 

They will be the primary point of contact for the National Office, coordinating the day-to-day running of the office and meeting spaces. The post holder will have responsibility for all office related administration and associated project work.

We are currently recruiting for a Development Officer, Patrons to join our Development team at Kew.  The Patrons Officer is a key member of the team, helping to build and nurture this close community of supporters who are deeply invested in our work.  This role will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day activities of the Patrons programme, including coordinating renewals, responding to enquiries and ensuring excellent donor care. About the role

You will lead and manage projects that support on the development and delivery of a pipeline of insightful Musculoskeletal (MSK) and health data analysis and quantitative research, to better understand the UK population with MSK conditions and to inform the direction of our ambitions, strategy, policy and services work. This includes obtaining, analysing, publishing and presenting MSK epidemiological and health data, and working with others to influence improved quality, coverage and use of MSK health data.

About you

If your knowledge, skills and experience include the following then we’d love to hear from you:

• Demonstrate sound knowledge of epidemiological research methods and health metrics (such as incidence and prevalence)
• Strong experience using of statistical software e.g. R, Stata, SPSS
• Strong experience using NHS and other national health-based datasets, and a good understanding of UK health and social care systems
• Experience of using multiple sets of health-related data and information systems, and large-scale data sets for policy, quality improvement or research purposes
• Experience of using data to improve the understanding of health inequalities and disparities for public health purposes
• Ability to interpret, present and communicate complex data in accessible lay terms, including producing data-rich reports for a range of technical and generalist audiences.
• Project management and organisational ability, including being able to prioritise activities and independently manage own workload that includes multiple concurrent projects.

Rethink Langdon Advocacy is based on site at Langdon Hospital where all patients are detained under sections of the mental health act. The hospital supports men from South-West England who, because of their mental health needs, have had contact with the legal system and require a safe and secure environment where they can receive treatments, therapies, and care to help them recover. Our advocates work across the site providing Independent Mental Health Advocacy for adults detained in the hospital.

Who We Are

Our charity was established in 1992, to provide care and support to people in Sussex, living with and affected by HIV. Over the past three decades there have been huge advances in treatment and care for those affected by the virus. People taking effective anti-retroviral medication (ART’s) can live long lives, with HIV becoming undetectable and untransmittable.

Whilst people who are living with HIV can live longer, many develop other physical co-morbidities as they age and many experience social and self- stigma. Our service users are often from marginalised groups, who often experience inter-sectional discrimination and health inequalities. Many of our service users experience socio-economic disadvantage and have multiple and complex needs.

The Sussex Beacon offers a range of services to people who have been living with HIV for decades through to those who are newly diagnosed.  Our services include:

The Role

This is an exciting time for The Sussex Beacon, as we are about to launch our new 2030 Strategic Plan and move to a new era of delivery, through the evolution of our end of life and palliative care for the LGBTQ+ community.  The Sussex Beacon will be the first Hospice of its kind in the country tackling stigma and health inequalities for those who are most marginalised in our community.

This role will secure, manage and grow income from corporate partners, supporting The Sussex Beacon’s mission to provide specialist care and support for people living with HIV and its new LGBTQ+ Hospice provision. This role is responsible for building long-term, strategic relationships with businesses, creating tailored partnership opportunities, and contributing to the charity’s wider income generation strategy and its five-year fundraising plan. The postholder will work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders to maximise corporate engagement and fundraising potential.

Key Responsibilities

Corporate Partnership Fundraising at The Sussex Beacon

The Sussex Beacon has a proud history of working with corporate supporters who are passionate about making a difference. The Corporate Partnerships Fundraiser will lead on identifying new corporate prospects, developing compelling proposals, and managing a portfolio of existing partners. They will create and deliver partnership plans that may include sponsorship, employee fundraising, cause-related marketing, and volunteering. By aligning business objectives with The Sussex Beacon’s values and impact, the postholder will ensure meaningful and sustainable relationships that benefit both parties.

Team Beacon

Team Beacon is the charity’s fundraising event brand, bringing together supporters through challenge events, campaigns, and volunteering. The Corporate Partnerships Fundraiser will work closely with the fundraising team to integrate corporate teams into Team Beacon activities, encourage staff engagement, and develop sponsorship packages for major events such as The Brighton Half Marathon, which we own, and community challenges. This collaborative approach enhances visibility and fosters a sense of shared purpose among partners and supporters alike.

Business Networking Events

The postholder will represent The Sussex Beacon at a variety of business networking events, including LGBTQ+ network events, across Sussex and beyond. These events offer valuable opportunities to connect with potential partners, showcase the charity’s impact, and build strategic relationships. The Fundraiser will be proactive in identifying and attending relevant events, from Chamber of Commerce meetings to local business expos, ensuring The Sussex Beacon maintains a visible and professional presence in the corporate community.

Other Duties

· Maintain accurate records of partner interactions and income through the charity’s CRM system.

· Prepare regular reports and updates for the Head of Income and senior leadership.

· Work with the communications team to highlight successful partnerships and case studies.

· Support the wider fundraising team during peak periods or major campaigns.

· Stay up to date with trends and developments in corporate fundraising and CSR.

This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and creative fundraising professional to lead on the planning, delivery, and evaluation of regular giving and legacy campaigns. Reporting to the Philanthropy Manager, you will play a key role in increasing philanthropic income for the For What Matters Fund, supporting students facing financial hardship and promoting equality of opportunity.

With a strong focus on data-led strategy, you will develop compelling digital and print fundraising appeals, implement stewardship journeys, and drive donor acquisition and retention. You will also take responsibility for growing our legacy giving programme and contribute to the university’s wider philanthropic strategy.

We're looking for someone with a successful track record in fundraising or marketing communications, excellent writing skills, strong data and CRM experience, and a passion for making a tangible impact in higher education.

 About The Role:

Working closely with finance team colleagues, you will be an important part of the external ‘face’ of Finance, responsible for building relationships with and providing support to budget holders so that they can effectively fulfil their financial management responsibilities.

You’ll act as a trusted advisor—translating financial information into meaningful insight and advice that drives performance and value for money.

As the Finance Business Partner, you will (Key Responsibilities):

• Provide financial support, advice and guidance to budget holders, enabling them to understand their financial responsibilities, improve reporting processes and make datadriven decisions.
• Support budget holders with the provision of accurate and reliable budgeting and forecasting information and review of the financial data held in the reporting system.
• Work closely with budget holders, arranging regular meetings and ensuring the data that they are provided with is insightful and meaningful.

Who we’re looking for as our Finance Business Partner:

• Part Qualified Accountant (e.g. ACA, ACCA CIMA), and working towards a full professional accounting qualification (E)
• Educated to a good standard of literacy and written communication (E)
• Preparation of budgets, forecasts and management accounts
• Experience supporting non finance staff to understand financial management information
