The Diocese of Rochester is seeking a Data Analyst to provide the evidence, analysis, and interpretation needed to support the Called Together strategy. You will play a crucial role in helping parishes, deaneries, and diocesan leaders understand their context, track progress, and plan for mission and growth.

About the Role

You will develop and interpret datasets to support informed decision-making across the Diocese. Your key responsibilities will include:

· Developing a strong understanding of diocesan and external data sources to inform strategy

· Designing and implementing a measurement framework to monitor progress and impact

· Collecting, managing, and integrating quantitative and contextual data from varied sources

· Analysing demographic, attendance, financial, and community data to generate insight

· Supporting social action and community engagement with relevant contextual data

· Designing and maintaining interactive dashboards and visual tools (e.g. Power BI)

· Producing narrative and statistical reports for governance, leadership, and project teams

· Building relationships and engaging with key stakeholders

· Collaborating with national church teams and external partners to align local insight with wider priorities

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

· Aligned with the mission and ethos of the Christian Church and the vision of the Diocese of Rochester

· Educated to degree level (or equivalent experience) in a relevant field

· Experienced in data analysis and interpretation, with strong Excel skills (e.g. pivot tables, formulas, data modelling)

· Confident in building dashboards and visualisations using Power BI (or similar)

· Familiar with public data sources (e.g. Census, public health, economic data)

· Skilled in ensuring data quality, integrity, and security

· An effective communicator, able to present insights to both senior leaders and local stakeholders

· Inquisitive, thorough, and able to frame the right analytical questions

· Experienced in developing measurement frameworks to track outcomes

· Organised, flexible, and able to travel across the Diocese, including occasional evenings or weekends

About the role

The key functions of this role are to enable Practical Action to deliver on its strategy of delivering Climate Resilience outcomes through all our work, including in the Zurich Climate Resilience Programme (ZCRP), to ensure that our work is ‘climate risk informed’ and addresses the key drivers of climate vulnerability.

Job Title: Recovery Worker

About the Role

As a VAWG Caseworker, you will provide structured, tailored support plans based on holistic assessments for individuals affected by crime. These will be predominantly female victims of domestic abuse, sexual violence and stalking, however, could be victims of any crime or gender. You will make initial contact with victims via the telephone, then tailor the support to the Victims preferences i.e. home visits or via conference calls, to explain our services, and assess the impact of crime. Your responsibilities will include developing, delivering, and monitoring safety and support plans, providing resources, interventions, and information to service users.

As a Caseworker you will:

• Manage a caseload of self-referred & referred service users, providing information & advocacy to help them navigate the criminal justice process.
• Conduct risk & needs assessments, ensuring each victim receives tailored support & information.
• Identify barriers to accessing services & work with partners to provide ongoing support.
• Keep accurate & confidential case records.

About You

You will have an understanding of the impact of crime on victims & experience in delivering services within a statutory, voluntary, or multi-agency setting. Experience in managing a caseload and of completing risk & needs assessments would be beneficial.

You will need:

• Strong written & verbal communication skills.
• Competent IT skills, able to use generic systems.
• Good organisational & time management skills, able to manage competing needs and priorities.

The Heaney Hub Cluster is an intensive supported housing scheme for the most challenging customers in the Kensington & Chelsea. The majority of the customers come with a history of entrenched rough sleeping; often coupled with enduring mental health difficulties. The aim is to offer a home to those who would have difficulty finding accommodation because of their lifestyle choices involving extreme drug and alcohol misuse. The high-support hostel caters for eleven service users with complex needs and is staffed 24-hours a day with the minimum of three staff on duty. The medium support services are staffed from 9am to 9pm where the customers present with varying degrees of mental health issues. The Assessment Centre is staffed 24/7.
The hostels are in close proximity to each other, and staff will be expected to work across the units. Three of the hostels supports both male and female customers and one is males only.

Heaney Hub implements and promotes the Psychologically Informed Environment (PIE) model. This is an approach to supporting people out of homelessness, particularly those who have experienced complex trauma or are diagnosed with a personality disorder. It also considers the psychological needs of staff: developing skills and knowledge, increasing motivation, job satisfaction and resilience.

Support Workers will devise person centred support plans with customers to help them develop the life skills they require to meet their needs and goals. This will include sign-posting them to the local drug and alcohol services to address substance misuse issues. They will work with customers to promote social inclusion and alongside other members of the team to promote independent living, encouraging customers to maximise their skills and choices.

The team comprises of Therapist, Move on coordinator, Housing Officer, 16 support workers, 2 Team Leaders, One Project Manager.

The role requires one to work on a shift pattern:7.45am to 3.45pm and 2.00pm to 10pm.

• Helping people maximise their income through benefits checks and advice
• Supporting people to complete benefit applications and, where necessary, challenge decisions
• Giving relevant information and signposting on other areas which impact on welfare benefits, such as social care, housing options, and local services

What we’re looking for:

• Someone with experience in welfare benefits or advice services (training provided to build on what you know)
• Great attention to detail, organisation and communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to meet the changing needs of the service

About the Role

As a VAWG Caseworker, you will provide structured, tailored support plans based on holistic assessments for individuals affected by crime. These will be predominantly female victims of domestic abuse, sexual violence and stalking, however, could be victims of any crime or gender. You will make initial contact with victims via the telephone, then tailor the support to the Victims preferences i.e. home visits or via conference calls, to explain our services, and assess the impact of crime. Your responsibilities will include developing, delivering, and monitoring safety and support plans, providing resources, interventions, and information to service users.

As a Caseworker you will:

• Manage a caseload of self-referred & referred service users, providing information & advocacy to help them navigate the criminal justice process.
• Conduct risk & needs assessments, ensuring each victim receives tailored support & information.
• Identify barriers to accessing services & work with partners to provide ongoing support.
• Keep accurate & confidential case records.

About You

You will have an understanding of the impact of crime on victims & experience in delivering services within a statutory, voluntary, or multi-agency setting. Experience in managing a caseload and of completing risk & needs assessments would be beneficial.

You will need:

• Strong written & verbal communication skills.
• Competent IT skills, able to use generic systems.
• Good organisational & time management skills, able to manage competing needs and priorities.
• To work effectively both as part of a team & independently
• To develop & maintain partnerships with internal & external organisations.
• The ability to maintain professional boundaries & confidentiality.
