About the role

We are seeking an exceptional, creative and strategic fundraising leader to shape and deliver a new public fundraising and supporter engagement strategy, driving significant income growth across individual giving, legacies, community, events and trading.

As Associate Director, Public Fundraising, you will be a motivating leader for the talented Supporter Engagement team.  You will work with your leadership group to build on our successful approach to mass fundraising, aligning with our new organisational strategy to drive long-term transformational growth.

We are seeking someone with a passion for audience-led fundraising, who will lead and empower the team of 46 to explore new opportunities, grow income and build sustainable relationships.  Ultimately this will mean that our public fundraising programme will enable the charity to deliver its ambitious vision for the future, ensuring that every young person with cancer gets the support they need.

What will I be doing?

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing, Communications and Fundraising Director to lead our strategic communications and fundraising efforts, with a strong focus on growing the visibility and profitability of our charity shops.

This hands-on leadership role will shape and deliver integrated marketing campaigns, drive footfall and customer engagement across our retail estate, and build brand awareness for both our shops and charitable mission. You’ll work closely with shop teams, the central office and external partners to ensure our messaging is compelling, consistent and impactful. You’ll also lead the digital and fundraising strategy, helping us reach new audiences and deepen relationships with existing supporters. About the Role

The Head of SBC (Social and Behaviour Change) and Inclusion is a critical technical leadership position that supports country programmes to design solutions that improve attitudes, support for and uptake of sexual and reproductive health services across communities.  This includes guiding and building capacity in user-centred design principles to ensure projects are inclusive and responsive to the needs of the audience.  It also means incorporating best practice to create programming that is gender transformative and equitable. This role will be focused on the “Leaving No One Behind” Pillar of the MSI 2030 strategy with a special focus on reaching key populations and vulnerable groups including adolescents, people living with disability and people in extreme poverty.

This role will also be responsible for coordinating with donor teams and supporting programmes to ensure completion of key donor deliverables related to SBC and GESI Gender Equality and Social Inclusion).

About the role

As Senior Caseworker, you will provide first and second-tier specialist advice and casework support on a range of welfare benefits issues. You will manage a caseload of complex cases and will take cases to the First-tier Tribunal. Issues we commonly advise on include PIP, LCWRA and Universal Credit.

You will have significant experience as a welfare rights advisor and possess in-depth knowledge of welfare benefits legislation, case law, and procedures, including challenges to decisions and representation at tribunals. You will have at least five years' experience delivering welfare benefits advice on a range of issues and have substantial experience of representing clients at the First-tier Tribunal. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and have a commitment to working with communities who are marginalised and underserved.

With a passion for helping people to overcome poverty, you will have the ability to interview, advise, and work with service users empathetically. You will have a commitment to working in an anti-poverty charity that sees Policy & Influencing and Advice work as complimentary and integrated components of its strategy to eradicate poverty. About the role

We're looking for a Floating Support Coordinator to join our team based in Luton. You will deliver community based support to the residents of Luton as part of our Luton Synergy Service -  an integrated support service with emphasis on prevention, early intervention and integration for people who are at risk of losing their independence. The service provides tailored support to clients aged 18+ over a maximum of two years, to improve their opportunity to live successfully in the community.  The ethos of the service is to enable, empower and encourage individuals to develop the skills and tools to manage their accommodation, tenancies and health & wellbeing.

Our work with clients takes place at locations to meet individual needs; within our Victoria House resource centre in Luton, at their homes, in other agencies’ premises or in public meeting places. We pride ourselves on providing accessible and flexible services to residents of Luton through partnership working and community engagement. You will work alongside various community and statutory services and you will inspire and motivate our participants to achieve their personal goals, build independence, and live independently within the community. You will provide tailored personalised support to help our participants to live more fulfilling lives, and to engage them with opportunities available within the community, to help them to develop their social skills and independent living skills.

• Support to source and secure accommodation – both privately and through housing associations or the council
• Support to sustain tenancies – including landlord liaison if there is risk of eviction, addressing poor quality accommodation, anti-social behaviour or neighbour disputes

We are seeking an individual experienced in developing bids in response to tenders, research and consulting opportunities. The role will lead the end-to-end bidding process, from identifying and nurturing suitable applied research, evaluation, service and systemic design and consultancy opportunities. Through making social media posts, creating engaging content or writing stories, you’ll play an integral role in communicating our impact and stories to our key audiences.

At Horatio’s Garden, we build and look after extraordinary gardens in the heart of NHS spinal injury centres. These gardens are a critical part of rehabilitation and offer reflection and adjustment, privacy and solace, joy and companionship to all who need it. We lead regular gardening sessions to grow and cultivate plants, arts workshops to offer new skills and a programme of live music and events. Designed to be enjoyed all year round, these gardens offer a warm, welcoming place for family and friends who may have travelled hours for a visit.

Our vision is for everyone with a spinal injury to have a Horatio’s Garden as part of their rehabilitation care.

The charity is growing. We have eight garden projects open and are fundraising for our ninth garden in Middlesbrough.

This role will assist with the content creation of engaging written, film and visual content across different platforms, scheduling and moderating our social channels, and helping us report on our digital activity. You will support the rollout of the new regional social media channels for each garden to help place storytelling and impact at the heart of our communications.

It would suit someone looking to start or build their career in the communications field or charity sector to develop experience in developing content, writing and charity campaigning. There will be opportunities for training and development and you will travel between the charity’s UK-wide gardens and meet patients, volunteers and staff.

This is a full-time role (37.5 hours a week) based in the charity’s office in Salisbury with the ability to discuss some flexible working after the six month probation period.

You will be reporting to the Communications Manager.

Main duties

1. Help manage the day-to-day running of the charity’s social media (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook). Schedule content and respond to comments and messages to foster positive engagement and add value to the supporter experience

2. Work closely with the team to produce subscriber, campaign-led and post-event newsletter content and manage the subscriber database
