The Job
Reporting to the Individual Giving Manager, the Supporter Care Officer role sits within the Communications, Engagement and Fundraising team. USPG is looking for someone with excellent communication skills and enthusiasm to join our small but growing fundraising team. The post holder will be the first port of call for all incoming communications and will work closely with the Individual Giving Manager to ensure that our supporters feel valued. The role is also responsible for maintaining the data and developing supporter care processes.

You are highly organised, enthusiastic and flexible with a passion for delivering an excellent supporter experience. The ideal candidate will have experience in customer service, data handling and administration. They will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, with a flexible, can-do attitude. The Finance Assistant will support the Senior Finance Manager and Finance and Operations Director. They will be responsible for all aspects of sale, purchase and nominal ledger, credit control, payments and various reconciliations. General management account duties will also be required
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the shared inbox and respond to queries to internal and external contacts in a timely and courteous manner.
- Log purchase invoices into the finance system and request authorisation from budget holders, ensuring that documentation is complete and correct.
- Issue all sales invoices and maintain funders invoicing schedule.
- Request and reconcile supplier statements.
- Ensure finance policies are followed for the set-up of new customers and suppliers.
- Support internal team with expense reimbursements, including maintaining the expenses software and relevant reconciliations. Follow up on missing documentation or evidence of non-compliance.
- Prepare weekly payment runs and issue remittance advices.
- Issue statements to customers and regular credit control activities.
- Check ledgers for missing costs. Identify and resolve missing costs or discrepancies in ledgers.

WHA is an international NGO, representing over 400 civil society and patient organisation members in over 120 countries. We are committed to eliminating viral hepatitis, a devastating disease that affects more than 300 million people and is now the second most deadly infectious disease in the world.
We are seeking an experienced project manager to lead WHA’s delivery of the SAFEStart+ project. Focused on accelerating the elimination of mother-to-child transmission (EVT) of HIV, syphilis, hepatitis B, and Chagas disease in endemic areas. The project will focus on demand generation, adoption and scale-up of innovative EVT programmes through strong community and stakeholder leadership. It will do this in part, through understanding the values and preferences of stakeholders, addressing barriers around awareness and stigma and discrimination, providing training to both community groups and health care workers and undertaking community led monitoring. These community led-activities will run alongside work in countries to strengthen health systems and supply chains and address gaps in product access.
The duties and key responsibilities of the Community Implementation Manager include:
- Plan and coordinate WHA activities related to the project to ensure that goals and objectives are accomplished within prescribed time and funding parameters.
- Manage community implementation partners within project countries, working closely with them to develop advocacy and awareness strategies, implement community-based research , monitor budgets in line with approved policies and measure impact.
- Support the coordination of global and country community advisory boards.
- Be the main point of contact for all project partners, fostering positive working relationships to ensure effective coordination throughout the projects’ lifecycle.
- Support capacity building efforts for community groups and health care workers in project countries.

To support the range and depth of partnerships we have and the potential we see, we are looking for a Partnerships Manager to work primarily on building partnerships with Local Authorities and public sector organisations, charities and social enterprises, faith-based and inclusion-focused organisations and other groups who might help us strategically grow and resource the Warm Welcome network across the UK (NB Corporate Partnerships are managed by our newly appointed Fundraising Lead for Corporates). The Partnerships Manager will also help develop our support for Warm Welcome Spaces, including overseeing our Champions Programme which offers more intense support and a Community of Practice to a smaller cohort of local groups.

Joining during an exciting period of growth, you will be inheriting a hugely diverse and highly engaged coalition of Warm Welcome Partners who have supported the campaign and local Spaces over the last 2 and a half years. At the same time, there remains a huge untapped potential in terms of possible partners and relationships to be developed and you will be working together with the Campaign Director and team to strategically identify and develop these new connections.

Responsibilities
Building Partnerships
● Developing our Partnership Strategy to identify and engage the best potential partners to help us grow the network and reach our ambition of 100% of the population living within a 30-minute walk of a registered Warm Welcome Space. This will involve identifying and engaging partners in geographical ‘cold spots’ for the network (utilising our mapping tool developed with UCL), as well as forming partnerships to unlock new or under-represented types of Warm Welcome Spaces (e.g. Housing Association Community Spaces, cinemas, community spaces created by new housing developments etc).
● Leading the development of our Local Co-ordinators Cluster which brings together Local Authorities and others who are leading place-based networks of community spaces.
● Overseeing and developing the Champions Programme, providing more intensive support and connections to a smaller cohort of Warm Welcome Spaces.
Engagement and Inclusion
● Developing our Inclusion Strategy to identify and engage the best potential partners to diversify our Coalition and support local Spaces to become more accessible and inclusive.
● Working with the team to develop regular engagement activities for Warm Welcome Partners.
● Producing compelling communications (written and verbal) to promote the work of the Warm Welcome Campaign and grow the depth and breadth of partnerships - to include but not limited to partnership proposals, pitches and reports.
Good Practices, Standards and Systems
● Supporting, maintaining and developing existing partnerships and manage the systems (including CRM use) needed for excellent partnerships delivery, stewardship and development.
● Leading Warm Welcome Space good practice and driving up quality standards across the network, including through developing a Warm Welcome Awards programme.
● Promoting good practice in volunteering and supporting Spaces to maximise and grow volunteering opportunities.
● Working with the team and, using our new CRM, track, measure and analyse our partnerships delivery.
● Supporting the delivery of other Warm Welcome efforts, as appropriate
Reporting to the Campaign Operations Director, you will work closely with them and other Senior Directors to grow the range and impact of Warm Welcome partnerships. The role will also work closely with the Communications team and with our two Warm Welcome Co-ordinators who deliver our Champions programme and provide a direct link between the campaign and Warm Welcome Spaces.

Working Arrangements
● Current members of the team are based across the UK, with some in London, Reading, Bristol, Manchester and Northern Ireland. Applicants must be able to travel to Bristol once a month for a Tuesday full team meeting. Given the nature of this role we would also expect the applicant to carry out a reasonable amount of travel to both Warm Welcome Spaces and partners across the UK.

Overview of the Team
The Corporate Services team provides essential strategic and operational support across the organisation. Our governance function oversees compliance, risk management, and performance frameworks. The finance team manages budgets, financial planning, and reporting. All of this contributes to effective decision making. We are also responsible for looking after our properties, which includes maintaining oversight of two commercial leases, and maintaining Dartmouth House which is a grade II* listed events venue and our Head Office in Mayfair.
Purpose of this role
The Senior Governance Officer will provide high quality support to the Board of Trustees and its sub-Committees, and the Chief Operating Officer. This role will work closely with the Executive Assistant to the Director General.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being at the heart of an organisation’s operations—helping to keep the corporate services running smoothly, so that our Education and Supporter teams can focus on delivering impact through our programmes.
Responsibilities and Expectations
- Provide governance support including the preparation and timely circulation of agendas, papers, minutes and action logs for Board and Committee meetings.
- Monitor and report on progress against Board and Committee actions, ensuring timely follow-up and delivery.
- Ensure the charity complies with statutory, regulatory and sector best practice, including maintenance of key registers including the risk register, gift & hospitality register, declarations of interest, and compliance trackers.
- Maintain the organisation’s contract register, tracking review dates and supporting internal contract reviews and renewals.
- Provide high-quality administrative and organisational support to the Chief Operating Officer, helping to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

BACKGROUND
Ashiana is a ‘by and for’ women's led BME VAWG service with 30 years’ experience in delivering a holistic range of specialist services to South Asian, Turkish and Middle Eastern women affected by VAWG.
OUR SERVICES
Ashiana runs three refuges with a total of 29 bedspaces; specifically for women aged 16-35 fleeing forced marriage. This multi award winning project is the only service of its kind in the UK and is highly innovative in terms of addressing an area of significant need not met in other refuge provision. Within these refuges we designate a number of bedspaces for women with no recourse to public funds. We offer an advice and support service to women and girls who are experiencing VAWG, enabling them to make informed decisions and exit violent relationships. We provide a legal service supporting women with no recourse to public funds to help resolve their immigration status.
Counselling is offered for women and girls affected by VAWG. The counselling service works from an integrative stance, with the focus of providing a holistic service whereby we also work alongside other services and provide specialist domestic violence group work. The emphasis of therapeutic work with our clients is from a trauma informed model.
We also deliver an education programme for young people in secondary schools in East London aimed at preventing domestic violence and enabling young people experiencing domestic violence to access appropriate services. The prevention service includes delivering a whole school approach in schools to young people as well as group work to women and girls across North East London boroughs as well as community engagement activities and delivery. We deliver a range of awareness raising workshops for young people in the community and training on domestic violence for professionals in the voluntary and statutory sector.
PRIMARY TASK
The post is instrumental in overseeing the delivery of a comprehensive package of services and care for women in our refuges. To provide a safe environment and a service that is appropriate to the needs of young BME women particularly those from South Asian, Turkish and Middle Eastern communities and to support ex-clients following resettlement.
The post holder will have a caseload of clients and be responsible for providing advice, advocacy, casework and support to women and girls, advocating on behalf of these women and making others aware of their particular needs. The post-holder is required to demonstrate sensitivity and an awareness of the culture and needs of minoritised communities in all aspects of their duties and responsibilities.

The People Services Administrator will act as the first port of call to employees and external partners for all HR and Volunteering queries. The role will provide high quality and customer centric support on a range of administrative processes across all functions within the People Services team, including HR, Volunteering and Learning and Development, ensuring staff, volunteers and external stakeholders have a positive experience. As a priority, the People Services Administrator will process the majority of employee documentation, including issuing employment contracts, recruitment paperwork and issuing other adhoc letters as required.
The post holder will be based at the NLH Finchley site with an element of home working and flexibility. They may however be required to travel to NLH additional sites across Barnet, Enfield and Haringey.
