Brief role description:

The Marketing Manager will lead the delivery of high-impact, multi-channel campaigns that enhance engagement, drive fundraising initiatives, and strengthen support for our mission: to provide life-long, life-changing support, employment and training opportunities to Service leavers, veterans, reservists and their families. 
As we mark our 140th anniversary, this is a pivotal time for the Marketing Manager to lead a team of four marketing specialists to drive impactful campaigns and amplify the Charity’s presence across multiple platforms. You will work closely with programme managers across the business to identify marketing needs and opportunities, while working with the wider MarComms department to develop and deliver marketing campaigns, advise on the most effective delivery channels, and propose ways of enhancing the Forces Employment Charity presence.​

About you

This is a key role within the Executive Leadership team, with accountability for Finance, Procurement and IT at the Globe. About the Role

We are now recruiting for a talented Services Manager to manage a team of project/case workers providing individual advice, specialist support and advocacy to Black and minoritised migrant women, overseeing all aspects of our needs-led casework as well as the delivery of our women’s centre activities, as required.

The post holder will work collaboratively with our Director of Services and Operations (DSO) and other Service Managers in the development of an annual service plan, tailoring this to meet the needs of the team and ensure all funder requirements are met.

This role will provide comprehensive team management and support, effectively managing performance and providing trauma informed mentoring to the team. The Services Manager will be responsible for overseeing referrals to Hibiscus’ services internally and externally, working closely with the teams to ensure prioritisation of Black and racially minoritised women. The postholder will be responsible for responding to service user feedback, complaints and safeguarding concerns using a trauma-informed approach. This will inform the development and improvement of policies and processes for managing service user casework.

The post holder will also be responsible for ensuring that their team maintains accurate data and records to ensure effective service user support, monitoring, reporting and evaluation. As part of this monitoring and evaluation work, the Services Manager will play a key role in improving data recording and reporting. The post holder will be responsible for the financial management of their projects, including service contract budgets and the monitoring of team expenditure. Clear communication and a commitment to professional learning and development are key aspects of this role.

About you

The successful candidate will have significant experience providing casework support to migrant and/or Black and minoritised women with a range of complex needs. The candidate will have experience maintaining and developing effective working relationships with partner agencies and delivering services in line with funder contracts and contributing to funder reports. The Opportunity:

• A strong history of securing six-figure, multi-year grants and contracts in the UK and internationally, with an annual income generation of £1m+.

• Senior-level experience managing relationships with multiple, diverse funders and donors.

What we offer:

This full time, fully remote position offers a salary of £50,000-55,000 if you are a UK resident. If you reside in a different location, the salary will be adjusted accordingly. The Role

• Based at our office address of School 360, Sugar House Lane, Stratford, E15 2QS as well as various community project locations across the London Borough of Newham, with one day per week available for working from home
• Full time - Monday - Friday - 37.5 hours per week offered as a permanent contract

Prospectus is excited to be partnering with our client to recruit their new Fundraising Director. The organisation is the only Jewish Community Centre of its kind in the UK, serving as a dynamic, cross-communal hub for Jewish arts, culture, education and social action. Their purpose built venue in North London opened in 2013 and plays host to over 150 events and activities every week.  

The Fundraising Director will be responsible for the income budget which will reach £3.5m+ by 2031, constituting around 60% of JW3’s income overall. As a key member of the centre’s Senior Leadership Team, you will lead and motivate the fundraising team and will work closely with the CEO and Trustees to achieve long-term sustainable income growth. Specifically the Director will manage and deepen the charity’s relationships with key funders and stakeholders and identify opportunities to develop new relationships HNWIs, corporates and trusts and foundations.

The selected candidate will have extensive experience as a senior fundraising leader with a track record of achieving income targets. You will ideally have a proven ability to making the ask and engage confidently and effectively with a range of audiences. You will have personal experience of managing relationships with individuals, trusts and foundations and corporates and enjoy providing bespoke, compelling ideas for supporters to support.

Our operations team is led by the Chief Operations Officer (COO) and includes the finance and bookings & venue teams. This is a newly created role that will report directly to the COO and work closely with the wider operations team.

Scope of role

The Senior IT & Operations Officer is responsible for leading the central coordination of IT operations, managing key relationships with two main contractors (IT and estate management), and ensuring seamless integration of IT infrastructure and estate management services. This role involves overseeing the effective and efficient functioning of both IT systems and estate operations for Toynbee Hall and Toynbee Trading, while prioritising the safety of staff and stakeholders on-site. The officer will proactively identify opportunities for improvement, resolve issues, and maintain a collaborative working environment to support business continuity, operational efficiency, and safety standards across all operational areas. Additionally, they will support the procurement of IT and estate-related items, such as IT kit, ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing of required resources.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities

Information Technology & Systems

• Support the COO and wider SMT with all IT related strategy including procurement and streamline of new IT service provider/s. Including setting up KPIs’ and using these to assess performance.
• Manage the setup of new staff – including the procurement of equipment required for the role – this includes all communication tools.
• Managing the relationship and being the key point of contact with the technology suppliers and technology support providers.
• Identifying cost savings/efficiencies in the tech stack.
• Supporting IT KIT refresh plans and purchase, this includes audit of needs and vendor negotiations and lifecycle planning with the COO.
• Leading on regular assessment of IT and systems needs for all services and administrative staff.

Facilities, Health and Safety & General Administration

• Act as the main point of contact with our property management company. Work with the COO to escalate issues.
• Book in contractors and maintain all required documentation in conjunction with other key stake holders (property manager/agent).
• Be the escalation point for maintenance issues, liaising with the property management company to make sure that issues are dealt with in a satisfactory manner.
• Work with H&S consultants and property managers to ensure all relevant training is planned for and carried out and Risk assessments are being completed and used.
• Work with HR to ensure that all relevant training is planned for and carried out.
• Maintain records for all mandatory tests in conjunction with our property agents.
• Liaise with the Events and Venue Manager to ensure building management is always in place, keyholding, security etc.

Projects

• Manage ad hoc projects on behalf of the operations team; such as refurbishments, implementation of printer management.

General

• Building good working relationships across the organisation
• Representing Toynbee Hall to external audiences
• Developing an open and ‘critical friend’ dialogue within our programmatic work
• Undertaking any other appropriate responsibilities that may arise such as top up of franking machines, and general administrative orders as needed.

• Project management experience.

• High level expertise to use the Microsoft Office suite particularly Teams, Sharepoint, Excel and Outlook.
• A strong communicator with the ability to form trusting and supportive relationships quickly, internally and externally.
• Able to work proactively, independently and within a team.
• Able to work collaboratively with the wider teams at Toynbee Hall.
• Good negotiation skills.
• Basic level understanding of H&S, GDPR and confidentiality.
• Understand basic budget management and purchasing process.
• IT related qualifications and experience such as cyber security, Microsoft 365 suite skills.
• Good understanding of charity technology needs.
