Working closely across the organisation and with a range of external partners, you'll play a key role in shaping how we tell our story, connect with supporters, and promote our programmes. Our audiences include families, funders, corporate partners, media, celebrities, volunteers, and local communities, and your work will help ensure every message we share inspires empathy and action.
As Marketing and Communications Manager, you will:
- Lead the development and implementation of an integrated marketing and communications strategy.

About the Role

The role

The person we’re looking for
To be considered for this role you’ll need to evidence significant experience managing and improving the performance of digital channels (including social media, e-marketing and websites) using analytics to inform decision-making. You should have specialist knowledge of digital across a range of techniques and have experience in managing paid-for digital advertising budgets and campaigns. With experience using Content Management Systems (CMS) and of platform analytics tools including Google Analytics, Facebook and X, you should have a sound understanding of an integrated approach to digital marketing and knowledge of data protection best practice and legislation.
A confident communicator with strong analytical, literacy and numeracy skills, you’ll be able to work on your own initiative as well as part of a wider team. Organised and hard-working, you’ll be a pro-active self-starter that can hit the ground running and work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve growth objectives for our national charity brand.

The Data & Insights Manager will be a key point of contact for colleagues across the organisation, playing an instrumental role in shaping how we gather, manage and utilise data at Amref UK. They will be critical in providing expertise and establishing new ways of working across keys Amref UK teams, including Supporter Engagement, Programmes & Strategic Partnerships, Finance, Operations and Senior Management. The postholder will be the organisational expert in Microsoft Dynamics working with senior leaders, Amref HQ ICT, Amref’s global Fundraising & Marketing Development team (FMD) and third-party vendors to develop, implement and integrate processes and reporting tools that aid analysis and insight. They will be responsible for delivering improved functionality and system upgrades while maintaining data integrity and compliance requirements. Expertise in relational database design and familiarity with marketing tools such as Google Analytics would also be an advantage.
To be successful in this role, the post holder will need to be a team player who brings a combination of technical expertise, communication skills and business change experience.

Job Purpose
This is a hands-on, delivery-focused role that blends creativity with data insight to

● Post and schedule content across Ada’s social media platforms and website.

● Plan and deliver targeted paid campaigns across social media and contextual advertising platforms.
● Collaborate with agencies and media publishers to support effective campaign delivery.
● Optimize live, paid media campaigns (adjusting creative, messaging and targeting to
maximize impact)
Website management:
● Create news items for the website.
● Ensure pages are SEO optimized to drive organic traffic.
● Manage annual website reviews and implement changes.
●Analyse and optimize website performance.
● Support the delivery and tracking of Ada’s annual communications plan across target
audiences.
● Stay up to date with digital marketing trends and platform developments to keep Ada’s activity current and effective and contribute to Ada’s overall digital marketing approach.

Prospectus are excited to be working with an international charity to help them recruit for an Interim Legacy and In Memory Marketing manager to join their team. The charity is an international non-governmental organization, focused on water, sanitation and hygiene. It was set up in 1981 as a response to the UN International Drinking Water decade. WaterAid exist to bring safe and sustainable water, sanitation and hygiene to everyone, everywhere.
This role is offered on a 7-month full-time contract basis paying between £44,168 - £46,493 per annum with flexible hybrid working arrangements at their London office.
The post holder will strategically and proactively manage the Legacy and In Memory marketing team in developing and implementing the Legacy and In Memory (LIM) programme. They will be responsible for delivering innovative, audience led multi-channel fundraising and engagement campaigns to drive legacy consideration, legacy enquirers and increase brand love. The role will plan, deliver and optimise various campaigns covering channels such as TV, social, digital, Direct Mail, email and events to grow the number of people considering a gift in their will to the organisation.
They are looking for someone with a demonstrable track record of legacy and in memory fundraising and/or marketing campaigns and strategies. They are looking for a candidate with a demonstrable experience of Experience of planning, managing and executing multi-channel direct and digital marketing campaigns across the marketing funnel, from consideration, engagement, lead gen, brand love and stewardship, including print and social platforms
managing 6 figures, complex, multi layered and/or strategic long-term partnerships and have track record of delivering targets. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of international development and empathy with overseas development issues
