The Head of Programmes will lead SPANA’s development of a high quality, innovative partnership programme portfolio that delivers immediate and lasting change for working animals.

This is a pivotal leadership role at the heart of SPANA’s global impact. You will be responsible for ensuring that SPANA programmes are designed and delivered in alignment with the organisation’s 2023-2027 strategy, mission and vision. The role also strategically balances programming across the nexus of animal welfare, the environment and sustainable development and embraces the One Health approach, fostering impactful and sustainable outcomes. 

Salary, contract and location

This is a full-time (34.5 hours per week) permanent role. This role is UK based, with regular attendance (approximately 1-2 times per month) in our London office. The salary for this role is approximately £55,000-£60,000, dependent on expereiunce. As part of Keech Hospice's bold new fundraising strategy, we are seeking a dynamic leader to transform the way personal giving contributes to long-term income growth. This pivotal new role offers the opportunity to lead and expand a multi-channel, insight and data-led approach to personal giving - including legacies, in-memory giving, lottery, regular giving, payroll giving, and appeals. Reporting to the Associate Director of Supporter Engagement, you will lead a passionate and skilled team of six, including three direct reports (Managers of High Net-Worth Individuals, Individual Giving, and Legacy and In Memory). Together, your team will deliver and grow a budget of £2.4 million+, with a goal of increasing personal giving income by 40% over the next three years.

As Head of Personal Giving, you will work closely with the Head of Public Giving to ensure an integrated supporter experience across all channels, creating seamless journeys through innovative use of insight, digital channels and automation to deepen donor engagement, improve retention and enhance supporter experience across all giving levels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver an integrated strategy for personal giving that drives acquisition, retention and long-term income growth

• Design and implement automated and personalised supporter journeys that enhance donor experience across channels and gift levels

Requirements:

• Significant experience in individual and personal giving, including legacy, mid/high-value gifts, regular giving, and digital engagement
• A track record of growing income and improving donor retention through insight-led strategies and data segmentation
• Demonstrated experience managing high-performing fundraising teams and complex budgets (ideally £1M+)
• Proven success building relationships with high-net-worth individuals and philanthropic supporters
• Strong understanding of CRM systems, digital marketing, and automation tools to support integrated fundraising
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to inspire, influence and motivate donors and stakeholders

Advocates for International Development (A4ID) is a CSO with a vision to see the law and lawyers play their full part in the global eradication of poverty and advancement of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Purpose of the Role

The role of the Project Officer – CSO Services will lead on the coordination and management of international pro bono legal opportunities.. A key focus of this role is to engage with CSOs globally, to scope potential partners and areas which require, or would benefit from, pro bono legal assistance. This will support A4ID’s weekly pro bono projects and larger strategic projects.

The Project Officer – CSO Services will also manage larger strategic projects, which will include maintaining records, gathering feedback, reporting on progress internally, collaborating with other teams in need of relevant expertise, drafting external comms, and implementing other internal administrative tasks as necessary (e.g. updating software and implementing process changes).

Larger strategic projects involve working with multiple stakeholders (including large international CSOs, smaller local CSOs, large international law firms, smaller local law firms, and other delivery partners and legal experts) to effectively and efficiently deploy pro bono legal services to support the missions of respective CSOs. The Project Officer – CSO Services will work as part of the wider PBLS team on such projects.

On smaller brokerage projects, the Project Officer – CSO Services will establish connections with CSOs, identify potential areas for support and provide an initial scope of potential projects.

Community Project Lead

Do you have experience working with under-served communities and leading impactful outreach projects? Are you passionate about improving access to support for families of children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)?

IPSEA is the leading charity in the field of SEND law in England, and we provide free and independent legal advice and support to families of children and young people with SEND. We also provide training on the SEND legal framework, and we influence policy at both a local and national level.

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Community Project Lead to join our team and lead the development of our advice services for under-served communities. This two-year, fixed-term role is a key part of our strategy to reach groups who may not traditionally engage with IPSEA’s support - including children and families with English as an additional language, cared-for children (children in care), migrant children, detained children, and Gypsy, Roma and Traveller communities.

The project builds on a detailed scoping exercise we’ve recently completed, which involved working closely with a wide range of charities and organisations that support these communities. The resulting report outlines the barriers they face, and will form the foundation for this project and directly inform the work you will lead.

What you’ll do 

• Design and develop pilot advice services that are tailored to the needs of under-served communities, using findings from IPSEA’s research 

• Build and maintain strong relationships with community groups, charities and service providers to co-produce accessible services 

• Collaborate with IPSEA’s advice, legal and policy teams to address the barriers these communities face in accessing SEND legal advice 

• Contribute to and share outreach materials, training resources and toolkits to support families of under-served communities and empower local advocates 

• Plan and lead workshops, focus groups and community events to raise awareness, gather feedback and enhance service delivery 

• Monitor and report on project outcomes and impact, providing regular updates to IPSEA staff and stakeholders 

You can work remotely or from IPSEA’s office in Takeley, with frequent travel required for essential meetings and community engagement.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work on World Cancer Research Fund International’s Global Cancer Update Programme (CUP Global). CUP Global (previously known as CUP) is a unique, long-standing, and rigorous research programme that systematically gathers, analyses, and judges the strength of the global evidence on how diet, nutrition, physical activity and body weight affect cancer risk and survival. This work led to the publication of the authoritative Third Expert Report in 2018, which now needs updating in places to remain relevant and impactful. 

As Senior Research Interpretation Officer, you will be a valuable member of the Research Interpretation team and the CUP Global scientific Secretariat. Your core work will be supporting the management of CUP Global on a day-to-day basis to help deliver its main objective of updating the Third Expert Report. You will provide scientific input, administrative support, and help coordinate specific work areas of CUP Global.

We are looking to recruit someone who has a Masters degree in public health sciences, particularly nutrition and/or cancer research, and with a good understanding of epidemiological concepts. We are seeking someone with experience of writing scientifically, copywriting, editing and proofreading, with good attention to detail and with experience of reviewing and interpreting scientific research/literature. Role Overview:
The Talent Set is working with a leading professional membership organisation as they seek an Events Officer to support the delivery of a diverse and high-quality events programme. This role will be part of a dynamic and award-winning team responsible for organising flagship conferences, regional roadshows, an annual awards ceremony, and a range of online learning webinars.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in planning and delivering both in-person and virtual events, excellent organisational skills, and a passion for providing outstanding customer service. Key Responsibilities:

• Support the planning, coordination, and execution of events, from pre-event logistics to on-the-day setup and post-event breakdown.

• Help develop and distribute event-related communications, including email campaigns, social media updates, and member announcements.

Person Specification:

• 3-5 years of proven experience in event planning, organisation, and delivery.

• Strong digital proficiency, including experience with MS Office, SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, and digital event platforms (e.g., Zoom).
• Knowledge of CRM systems, MailChimp, and SurveyMonkey.

• Able to think on your feet, manage challenges under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.

React is a small, well regarded, charity that was established in 1989.  It provides Rapid Effective Assistance to Children with Potentially Terminal illness.

React works to give children comfort, dignity and where possible, greater independence. 

We supply essential equipment that is not available through the NHS or local authority, from specialist wheelchairs, beds, baths and mobility aids to essential everyday homecare items like pushchairs and domestic appliances.

We also provide our families with holidays and the opportunity to create special memories at our mobile homes situated across the UK. 

Since the pandemic we have moved to a fully remote / home based working model.

The Role

We are seeking a passionate, creative and innovative fundraising professional with a history of successful income generation and fundraising development.
