About the Role:
This role is crucial in the long-term retention and growth of our partnership revenue streams. The role requires strong interpersonal, negotiation, and project management skills to maintain and nurture mutually beneficial strategic alliances to enhance Urban Synergy’s capacity and reach. The position also provides value to our partners and will ensure our collaborations with businesses, foundations, government agencies, and non-profit organisations are sponsored, supported, and sustainable.

What You'll Do:
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential Corporate partners within FTSE 250.
Develop and implement a partnership strategy to enhance financial support and resources for Urban Synergy programmes.
Develop tailored partnership packages that align with the philanthropic priorities and interests of our Corporate partners.
Prepare compelling and professionally written proposals and presentations to potential corporate partners. Ensure they are aligned with the interests of potential partners.
Effectively communicate the impact and benefits of partnerships to prospective sponsors.
Lead negotiations and finalise partnership agreements, ensuring alignment with Urban Synergy's values and goals.
Work with legal and finance teams to ensure contract compliance.
Collaborate with programme managers to ensure seamless integration of corporate partnerships into Urban Synergy's initiatives.
Provide regular updates to the leadership team on partnership progress and outcomes.
Work closely with the finance team to manage and report on the financial aspects of corporate partnerships.

Who we are looking for:
Proven experience in a partnership development or similar role, preferable within the non-profit sector.

This is an exciting opportunity to join Dementia UK as a Mass Participation Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering the charity’s mass participation products, including the flagship event, Time for a Cuppa, while also leading in developing and launching new products to meet supporter engagement and income targets.
Reporting to the Senior Mass Participation Manager, you will contribute to shaping an effective mass participation strategy and implementing detailed operational plans to manage, diversify and grow the programme. A core part of the role involves planning and delivering compelling marketing strategies that increase supporter numbers, generate income and provide exceptional supporter experiences to maximise fundraising potential. The Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) is a unique and dynamic membership organisation which comprises 15 of the UK’s leading humanitarian agencies.
The DEC launches appeals when there is a humanitarian emergency of such magnitude to warrant a national UK response, with most DEC funds being raised over an intensive two-week period following a disaster. DEC fundraising appeals benefit from the combined expertise of our member agencies, resulting in wide-reaching appeals across high-profile TV, radio, and an increasing number of digital channels.
Reporting to the Head of Public Fundraising, the Direct Marketing Manager (Acquisition) is responsible for delivering key direct marketing activities during appeals for major disasters or emergencies. You will work with key suppliers and agencies to implement the offline marketing campaign (e.g. press, outdoor, DRTV and direct mail), and the Public Fundraising team to utilise a large database of supporters for communication by email, SMS, and direct mail. You will identify new fundraising channels and ideas for increasing the impact of income generation.

- Implement the direct marketing strategies during each appeal with income maximisation and supporter acquisition as the key focus

Person specification:

The Direct Marketing Manager has operational and strategic responsibility in developing and implementing the Islamic Relief UK direct marketing programme. This includes the following key direct marketing channels: Email, SMS, Direct Mail, OOH and DRTV. The postholder will ensure the delivery of cross-channel, high profile and impactful marketing campaigns that drive action and improve supporter retention.
