Key Responsibilities for the role will include:

• Implement the organisation's strategic vision and business plans in collaboration with the Board of Trustees.

• Lead and manage the Senior Management Team, ensuring effective staff recruitment, management, and development.

• Develop and implement financial plans in consultation with the Board of Trustees.

• Ensure high standards of governance, attending Board meetings and providing necessary information and advice.
• Maintain a risk register and oversee compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.

The successful CEO will join this organisation at the beginning of their new strategy and will be required to ensure the successful launch of new services and initiatives. The position will be based at their head office in Sevenoaks and requires regular office attendance. The package includes 30 days of annual leave, increasing to 35 after five years’ worth of service and other generous employee benefits!

Essential criteria:

• Degree-level education required; professional qualification (e.g., MBA, CIPD, CCAB) preferred.
• Proven track record in leading organisational change at a senior level, preferably in the charity or social care sector.
• Strong financial management experience with a sound understanding of budgeting and income generation strategies.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to drive positive change aligned with organizational objectives.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a Trustee Board and lead a team effectively through periods of change.

Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

We are seeking an experienced and influential leader to join us as our new Chief Executive.  You will play a critical role in leading the organisation and representing PATA and its members in the ever-evolving Early Education and Children’s Play sectors.

PATA is the largest voluntary sector provider of support to the Early Years and Play (Out of School) sector in Gloucestershire.  We are a Charity based in Gloucester with around 170 member settings and manage five of our own Early Years settings (PATA Managed Groups (PMGs)).  Our mission is to support the development of high quality and accessible early education, play and provision for children, young people and their families.

At its heart, PATA is a people-based organisation and you will be joining a strong and committed team, both in the Head Office and the PMGs.  You will lead the organisation, working with the Board of Trustees in setting the strategic vision, mission and priorities.  You will be a voice for PATA and its members, building partnerships, participating in consultation processes, and challenging policy and other initiatives for the benefit of the sector, as and when appropriate.

The role is part time, 21 hours per week, 42 weeks annually, to be worked flexibly to meet business need, as agreed with the Chair of Trustees and in association with the Senior Management Team. The Information Events Coordinator will deliver our information events programme consisting of face-to-face and online events hosted by the team and held throughout the UK, developing the strategy for the programme and implementing event activity with the aim to increase participation and attendance.

You’ll be responsible for the planning, co-ordination and delivery of the events, including marketing and promotion, as well as logistics and resourcing.  You’ll be required to attend several weekend events throughout the year so should be able to travel across the UK as needed.

About the role  
As Crisis’ Media and Artist Liaison Officer, you will play a key role in securing impactful media coverage that inspires the public and politicians to join our fight to end homelessness by raising awareness of our influencing campaigns and fundraising events. You will help to build Crisis’ profile by bringing to life our work, demonstrating how we end people’s homelessness for good through education, training and support with housing, employment, and health. You’ll also identify, build and nurture relationships with artists and influencers to secure their support for Crisis and our work, whether that be political campaigning, fundraising or our commercial and retail offering. 

Your role will be creative and varied. You’ll work with our frontline staff to identify people facing homelessness who want to share their stories and empower them to do so. You’ll also work with our Artist Liaison Manager to utilise our high-profile supporters and ambassadors to inspire and raise awareness of our cause with key audiences and develop creative and engaging ways to amplify our media campaigns on social media. To be successful in this role you will have:  

• Experience of working within a busy press office environment/ PR agency or as a journalist.    

• Experience of generating engaging and impactful media and talent plans that secure stand out coverage across news, consumer, online and regional media.

• Experience of working with high profile people (including influencers) and management teams.

This Fundraising Officer role will sit in the Events team. This team is responsible for a portfolio of third party organised sports events - such as London Marathon, Tough Mudder, Cardiff Half and skydives - that will raise £4.4 million in this financial year.

Key duties and responsibilities

The post holder will:

- Provide support for people taking part in third party organised sports events in aid of Mind. This will include sending supporter communications, providing ongoingsupport, following up non-payments, personalised thanking, and supporter surveys.

-Attend supporter led and third-party events to help enhance our supporters' experience and deepen their relationship with Mind.

-Support the Senior Fundraising Officer in the delivery of events fundraising activity. This can include planning, writing and submitting briefs, generating marketing and stewardship communications, working with third party agencies, setting up web pages, delivering memorable on the day experiences for our supporters, reporting and analysing live activity and conducting evaluations.

-Analyse and interpret data, including marketing and stewardship performance, and adjust tactics to continuously improve and ensure results are met.

Main purpose of post 

To build a high-performing fundraising team to drive and stabilise significantly increased fundraising performance across a range of income streams. The post holder will lead the development and delivery of an ambitious and data driven fundraising strategy to successfully deliver Weston Park Cancer Charity’s vision. 

You will be instrumental in the development and delivery of a major 5 year charity appeal.  The appeal will raise the funds to enable a step change in our support of Weston Park Cancer Centre and the impact we have for people affected by Cancer in our region. The appeal forms the basis of the charity’s overall 5 year fundraising strategy.

Appeal Structure & Accountability:

Key Responsibilities 

Leadership

· Champion fundraising across the organisation.

· Be an inspiring ambassador for Weston Park Cancer Charity and ensure this is reflected in the strategies, outputs, and behaviour of the fundraising team.

· Actively contribute to leading Weston Park Cancer Charity as a member of the Leadership Team.

· Work closely with the Leadership Team to ensure that appropriate processes and systems are in place across the organisation, including delivery against KPIs.

· Attend and actively participate in relevant Board Committee meetings providing updates, necessary reports, and feedback on the charity’s fundraising.

· Lead cross-organisational projects in line with organisational strategy and direction.

· Build and inspire a high-performing and results-oriented Fundraising Team focused on delivering sustainable income to maintain and build on recent organisational growth.

· Collaborate with the Data Manager to maintain oversight of the supporter database to ensure integrity, legal compliance, and generation of appropriate insight to support delivery of income growth.·  

Fundraising Development

· Work with the Head of Strategic Partnerships and Development, external advisor(s), commissioned agencies and the appeal committee to deliver a multi-year major fundraising appeal

· Work with the Legacy and In Memory Fundraising Manger to deliver and implement a legacy pipeline and growth in In-Memory giving income

· Work with the Individual Giving Fundraising Manager to deliver and implement a strategy which prioritises both the retention and acquisition of new donors, enhances the use of digital products, platforms, and channels and delivers the highest standard of supporter care and donor stewardship.

· Lead on the introduction of a charity lottery.

· Work with relevant colleagues to deliver a new strategy and plan which prioritises deepening and strengthening existing relationships and building a strong pipeline of new prospects to deliver multi-year funding from major donors, high profile supporters, trusts, foundations, and companies.

· Support the Data Manager with the adoption and use of Raisers Edge NXT CRM to effectively support data-driven decision making and relationship management to generate supporter insights in support of increased fundraising.

Brand and Marketing

· Working in collaboration with the Deputy CEO, Marketing Manager and external agencies in the development and delivery of an integrated marketing and communications strategy that is driven by audience insight.

· Foster a strong working relationship between the fundraising and marketing team to inspire high-performance and results-oriented marketing to build a community of supporters by delivering a seamless supporter journey that promotes the charity’s work and delivers greater income generation.

· Empower the fundraising team to successfully deploy our brand.

· Work in partnership with the Marketing Manager to ensure content is up to date, factually accurate and to manage reputational risk.·  

People Management

· Create a high-performing team that is ambitious and passionate about Weston Park Cancer Charity’s vision.

· Provide line management to direct reports, setting, and monitoring individual performance objectives and motivating the team to be innovative and professional in its thinking and delivery.

· Ensure all fundraising staff receive consistent and motivating direction and feedback to enable them to work to the best of their ability.

The Supporter Relations Team plays a pivotal role in building relationships with our supporters and assisting our fundraising team to raise vital funds that will support our mission to beat blood cancer within a generation. The main purpose of this role is to lead and develop the Supporter Relations Team to deliver excellent customer service to our supporters from the beginning of their journey with Blood Cancer UK. Our processes need to be as efficient and effective as possible to get the best from our supporters.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with great communication, organisation and interpersonal skills. Fauna & Flora is part of the Cambridge Conservation Initiative in The David Attenborough Building, providing a great platform for collaboration with other conservation organisations and University of Cambridge departments and institutions. You will be joining a diverse team with global responsibilities and the role offers the opportunity to work within a ground-breaking and entrepreneurial organisation, at the forefront of global conservation.

This position will be based in Cambridge with international travel as required to meet project needs.

The objectives of the Communications and Campaigns team are to increase the public profiles of Rethink Mental Illness and Mental Health UK, mobilise public support to bring about change and ensure that all colleagues are aware of, bought into and engaged in contributing to the values and direction of the charities.

How you will make a difference

I am a social media expert who thrives on planning, creating and delivering high quality content across Rethink Mental Illness’s and Mental Health UK’s social media channels (Twitter/X, TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and YouTube).

I disseminate our messages and information to key audiences through clear and engaging social media posts that are tailored for different networks. I monitor the performance of our posts and I am proactive in incorporating best practice to ensure that our posts are well received by our audiences, and that our presence on our social media channels grows.

I regularly collaborate with colleagues across both charities, and the other founding charities of Mental Health UK, and key partners to create compelling and inspiring content.

We are seeking a full time experienced administrative officer to support our Best Years Hub.  This role will act as the first point of contact for all services users and volunteers who are referred to the hub. 

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years experience in a similar role, good administrative skills, a pleasant and helpful telephone manner, good attention to details and experience of using all Microsoft packages, WordPress, Canva and all social media platforms.

We are currently seeking a fixed term Grants Impact and Evaluation specialist to provide technical monitoring, evaluation, and learning knowledge to the Grants and Programmes Team and Battersea grantees. In this role, you will support the Impact and Evaluation Lead in the design and delivery of Battersea’s approach to impact and evaluation.

This role will be based within Insight and Impact but work closely with Battersea’s Global Programmes Team. The role will be the key point of knowledge and technical support for Grants Managers in ensuring that all potential and awarded grants have an agreed monitoring and evaluation approach, and that portfolio-wide learning can be gathered and applied by Battersea and grantees.
