The role
With support from our Marketing and Communications Manager and wider team, you will play a vital role by creating, managing and optimising our digital communications, including the development, execution and measurement of email mailshots and campaigns, our social media channels and our website.
You will be comfortable planning and devising email and social media content ideas, designing creative assets, writing sharp, engaging social media copy, and helping colleagues to grow their own social media presence.

Your experience
- Writing engaging and inspiring copy for various purposes and digital channels, including email as a priority

This is a hybrid role. You will be working from home with IT provided and join Team Together Days in a co-working space in London 2-3 individual days each month. The Direct Marketing Manager has operational and strategic responsibility in developing and implementing the Islamic Relief UK direct marketing programme. This includes the following key direct marketing channels: Email, SMS, Direct Mail, OOH and DRTV. - Educated to Degree level, or equivalent standard

About the Role

What will I be doing?

What are we looking for?
Extensive experience of managing market research projects from inception to completion including writing briefs, managing agency procurement, ensuring clear objectives and producing actionable outputs
Excellent knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methods and significant experience of deploying appropriate methodologies to drive actionable insight
Excellent project management and planning skills with ability to prioritise workload across multiple areas and manage ambiguity.

About the Role
This role is focused on delivering established communications strategies and plans over a 12-month fixed-term period. There is scope for the Communications Officer to work autonomously and creatively across teams, helping deliver engaging content and campaigns.
