Age UK Northamptonshire is looking for a dynamic Chief Executive Officer to lead us into our next chapter.
We are the leading local charity supporting older people across the county—providing advice, companionship, and essential services to 18,000+ people every year.
As our long-serving CEO retires, we need an inspiring, strategic leader who can:

About You
You’ll bring:

Knowledge of the voluntary sector, health, social care, or issues affecting older people is highly desirable.

About the role
You will be an experienced Adviser looking for a new challenge. You will empower disabled people to move into a job through our national Support to Work service. As part of this service, you may also support a caseload of customers to stay in work.
In these dynamic, hybrid roles, you will:
· Deliver one-to-one personalised advice, both online and in person
· Support customers with job searching, CV writing, application support and interview preparation
· Plan and deliver group employability workshops and training sessions
· Work with customers to identify their skills, strengths and career aspirations
· Help break down barriers to employment and build confidence
· Maintain accurate records and track progress to outcomes
· Deliver service KPIs to ensure the continued success of the service.
About you
You will have:
· Experience delivering employment support, advice or coaching
· Strong facilitation skills and confidence in delivering group sessions
· Knowledge of the barriers disabled people face in the labour market
· Excellent communication skills and a supportive, person-centred approach
· The ability to manage a busy caseload and adapt to changing needs
· A commitment to empowering disabled people

Support to Work is a free service helping disabled people aged 16+ . Our Advisers provide personalised support to help customers develop their skills, confidence and employment opportunities.

The Director of Policy, Strategy and Governance is a new leadership role at the forefront of shaping and communicating our strategic direction.
As a member of the executive team reporting to the CEO, the Director will work with school leaders, other key external partners and teams within Camden Learning to drive high standards and grow a school-led system striving for both excellence and equity.
The Director will be responsible for leading, developing and communicating Camden Learning’s strategic direction, including plans for future growth and success. This entails keeping abreast of current developments, not only identifying opportunities and trends but also developing and supporting innovative approaches while ensuring alignment with Camden Learning’s goals.
The Director will be responsible for overall governance effectiveness, as well as provide strategic leadership for school governor services, ensuring effective support for governors in their key strategic and statutory roles. This includes establishing high-quality development and training programmes, the provision of a clerking service and bespoke support for governing bodies, as needed.
We are looking for a leader who can take ownership of shaping this role from day one – a strategic thinker, a skilled communicator, and a champion of inclusive governance. This is a rare opportunity to influence the future of education in Camden and beyond. Your leadership will help us tell our story, measure our impact, and ensure that our strategy remains both ambitious and grounded in the realities of our schools.
