SANE, a leading UK mental health charity, is seeking an experienced and entrepreneurial Senior Individual Giving Manager to join our Fundraising team. In this pivotal role, you will lead the development and delivery of innovative fundraising campaigns across multiple channels - including direct mail, digital, email and social media to grow our individual donor base, improve supporter retention, and increase legacy giving. Working closely with our digital, communications, and senior management team, you will manage regular giving programmes, design targeted legacy campaigns, and create compelling content to drive donations and deepen donor engagement. We are looking for a creative and strategic fundraiser or marketeer with a strong background in individual giving, ideally within the charity or not-for-profit sector. You should have experience running successful multi-channel campaigns, excellent copywriting and communication skills, and strong knowledge of CRMs such as Salesforce or Raiser's Edge. Familiarity with legacy fundraising and UK fundraising regulations is desirable. Above all, you will bring a genuine passion for mental health and a belief in the power of fundraising to create lasting change.

What the job involves

We have an opportunity for a Senior Strategic Communications (Campaigns) Officer to join our Strategic Communications, Campaigns and Brand team. You’ll work closely with the Strategic Communications (Campaigns) Manager to successfully plan and deliver major strategic campaigns and key brand moments, taking the lead on day-to-day project management to keep everything coordinated and running smoothly.

As a Senior Strategic Communications (Campaigns) Officer you’ll take responsibility for developing content for allocated big-ticket campaigns and brand moments, ensuring all content is consistent with our brand and tone of voice. The campaigns you’ll be working on will revolve around our brand, high value fundraising and priority campaigns seeking to drive change. You’ll develop content marketing strategies that will tell stories to reach our key audiences. Our current campaigns focus on reaching more men so they can make informed choices about their prostate cancer risk, while also working to reduce health inequalities and better engage Black men, a community disproportionately affected by prostate cancer.

Collaboration is a big part of this role.  Working closely with colleagues across the organisation, you’ll help shape high-impact content marketing strategies and integrate key messages across the organisation. You’ll also support the development of creative content for key partnerships and campaigns, ensuring content aligns with our brand and campaign objectives.

The Education and Training Foundation (ETF) is the national support body for the Further Education (FE) and Skills workforce. The Talent Set are proud to be partnering with ETF to appoint a Marketing Lead for 12 month fixed term contract role. Offering hybrid working, 1-2 days a week in their London office and a salary of £50,500 - £52,250

The Marketing Lead will drive targeted campaigns that promote government-funded CPD programmes like T Level Professional Development and Apprentice Workforce Development. Leading a small team, you’ll work closely with internal teams, government agencies, and partners to deliver coordinated, insight-driven marketing that boosts awareness and participation, while also supporting government bid proposals aligned with audience needs.
Some of the key responsibilities include:

• Manage the contracts marketing team to deliver multi-channel campaigns across government-funded CPD programmes and coordinate the annual marketing calendar.
• Oversee digital marketing efforts including paid search, SEO, paid social, email, and marketing automation, ensuring ‘always-on’ activities broaden reach.
• Manage ETF’s website and platforms to keep content accurate, engaging, and aligned with campaign goals.
• Deliver seamless customer journeys online and offline to drive conversion and engagement.
• Select and manage events to maximise impact and align with KPIs.
• Work with internal teams and external agencies to produce high-quality, on-brand marketing campaigns and assets.
• Support government bids by shaping proposals and coordinating with government agencies and delivery partners.
• Monitor marketing performance and ROI, applying improvements as needed.
• Plan and manage budgets, reporting on spend and impact regularly.
• Lead and motivate a team of around four, fostering an agile, customer-focused, performance-driven culture.

The ideal candidate will have experience in the following areas:

• Degree-level education or equivalent experience in marketing.
• Recognised marketing qualification (e.g., CIM, IDM).
• Proven experience delivering multi-channel marketing programmes in education or professional services.
• Strong skills in lead generation, nurture campaigns, SEO, paid search, content marketing, and social media.
• Confident in marketing planning and project delivery from start to finish.
• Experience working with senior stakeholders, including government agencies and partners.
• Results-driven with solid budget management and ROI focus.
• Excellent organisational, communication, presentation, and management skills.
• Team player with strong planning and influencing abilities.
• DBS check required (contractual with DfE).

Purpose 

As Digital Content Manager, you will oversee and develop LabMed’s digital content across multiple platforms. This role offers a chance to apply your skills to make a tangible impact on healthcare and laboratory medicine, driving engagement and innovation in a meaningful field. 

You’ll lead our content strategy to grow engagement with key audiences, implement creative solutions to build our online presence, and explore new opportunities for revenue generation. You’ll also support LabMed’s core values of inclusion, collaboration, and innovation while managing a small team. 

You will work closely with the Chief Executive, membership volunteers, editorial boards, and the staff team to create impactful content that informs, inspires, and supports our diverse audiences.

Responsibilities 

• Lead the development and implementation of a content strategy to grow audience engagement through the Association’s website, e-newsletter and LabMed News (our member magazine). 
• Manage and innovate the content on Lab Tests Online (our patient-facing site) including supporting the Editor with editorial and review processes. 
• Liaise with editorial boards to ensure our digital content remains insightful and  relevant. 
• Commission, edit, and deliver high-quality content in partnership with editors, contributors, and topic experts. 
• Support the Publications and Communications Committee to ensure consistent quality and alignment with organisational goals. 
• Explore and implement opportunities for revenue generation through advertising and paid content. 
• Produce the Association’s Annual Report and contribute to business planning in collaboration with boards and teams. 
• Supervise the Marketing and Communications Officer, providing clear direction and support.
• Champion Labmed values of inclusion by supporting diverse editorial boards across our publishing programme. 
• Develop an awareness of work being done by LabMed committees to promote through communications channels
