We are looking for a capable and creative Content Coordinator to join our Marketing and Digital team. This is a crucial role, working across our digital channels to deliver ongoing communications and create content. You will be comfortable writing for different channels, formats and audiences, able to adapt your approach according to what’s needed. As a team, we cover a wide range of activities, and every day is different. You could be going from working on video editing one moment, to building an automated email campaign or preparing content for Instagram the next.
The Content Coordinator manages operational and administrative activity for the content team, ensuring that things run smoothly. Job Summary
Supporting the Direct Marketing Manager, you’ll play a key role in delivering growth in voluntary income through our direct marketing acquisition programme utilising a range of campaigns and products, both online and offline. Products include one-off donations, regular giving (including value-exchange/ sponsorship products) and lottery. You’ll also be responsible for the development, implementation, day to day management, evaluation, and delivery of our acquisition portfolio.
About You
- You will have experience of running effective national campaigns using a variety of fundraising channels
- Demonstrable, relevant experience including digital, email, social media, direct mail, and telemarketing
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to effectively manage conflicting priorities
- Knowledge of google analytics as well as an understanding of fundraising regulator guidance, gambling commission compliance and GDPR.
About the Role
- Manage the delivery of acquisition campaigns from concept through to evaluation, using data and insight to drive creative and production, drawing up schedules, and managing the approval processes.
- Work alongside the Content team to research and develop acquisition products, journeys and communications, gathering information, case studies and photos for use in all direct marketing campaigns.
- Manage relationships with external agencies including media houses, designers and printers; to negotiate costs and monitor performance
- Working collaboratively with a number of internal teams to ensure effective use of supporter profiling for delivery across a range of annual acquisition campaigns.

This is a newly created role within the team which will oversee acquisition and new product development.

You’re also used to optimising and reviewing campaigns and aren’t afraid to share both failures and successes. Managing and influencing stakeholders to deliver results comes naturally to you too. What’s more, you excel in analysis and intelligent use of data, are great at utilising insight, including the motivations, interests and behaviours of supporters to guide decisions. What we are looking for:
A skilled marketing professional to join our team and help us improve our brand awareness and reach our target audiences. We’re a charity that delivers services locally but has a national impact and this role will help us grow our reach nationally while supporting the wider team in connecting with our audiences at a more local level.
We’re looking for someone who can put strategy into action and, importantly, track performance. You’ll have experience in line management or have led a similar-sized marketing team, so you’re comfortable providing support and guidance to develop people and help them achieve their KPIs. You’ll take the lead on developing concepts for campaigns to achieve our goals and support your team to deliver projects that optimise and improve our channels. The role

The Role
