What the role involves
1. Ensuring that there are regular training opportunities for both new starters and those requiring refresher sessions or updates when new functions or forms are released. This will include running system training drop in sessions to assist with queries / hear feedback, and relaying information from these to the Information Governance and IT manager.
2. To support managing the case recording system help desk – so that support is always ava
ilable to front line workers and other stakeholders.
3. Working with the Learning and Development Coordinator to establish an evaluation method and implement this to enable us to assess the effectiveness of each training session and using this to improve future delivery.
4. Produce effective training materials and guidance documents, and develop and maintain a training area on our case recording system, including the creation of dummy forms and files for new users to access and use as a training sandbox
5. Performing case recording system changes to forms and lists as directed by the Information Governance and IT Lead
6. Support the Data Reporting and System Support Lead with regards to user administration and user support at times of absence and increased need
7. Working with the Learning and Development Coordinator to support the creation of e-learning training modules for our LMS (currently RISE) Acting at all times in line with safeguarding legislation and guidance in addition to Safer London’s practice guidelines and wider pan-London processes and protocols.
8. Undertaking any other duties as required and commensurate with the level of this post, including covering the Data Reporting and CRS support lead post functions when relevant.

The Role
As Digital Learning Project Manager you will play a key role in helping the Law Society deliver the L&D strategy for its members. This is an 18-month fixed term contract (FTC) role.

Key responsibilities
- Create fresh, engaging content for Instagram, Facebook, X (Twitter) and LinkedIn in line with the Communications strategy;
- Keep on top of key happenings such as internal fundraising events and campaigns, awareness weeks, and be able to brainstorm ways to get our charity involved and in relevant spaces;
- Work closely with the fundraising and volunteer teams to capture their real-life stories and inspirations and spin this into newsworthy content for our audiences;
- Help deliver targeted campaigns that attract new volunteers and supporters.
- Maintain our image and video library so we always have brilliant content at our fingertips.
- Understand how to access and produce data for reports and analytics.
- Managing and overseeing the Communications calendar and inbox, ensuring we stay on top of trending and seasonal points of interest. Responding to media and external enquiries.
About You
We are looking for someone with strong communication skills, a flair for creativity and the ability to
manage multiple projects. This person will have: a background in a Communications or Marketing
role, strong interest in mental health, the ability to write for specific audiences and understands the
importance of a brand and its key values. This person will be confident using Canva, Photoshop (or
something similar) and CMS systems, specifically Squarespace.

Animal Equality is an international animal protection organisation working with society, governments and companies to end cruelty to farmed animals. Animal Equality has offices in the United Kingdom, the United States, Germany, Italy, Spain, Mexico, Brazil and India.
Animal Equality releases investigative materials captured from inside factory farms and slaughterhouses, exposing the conditions that farmed animals face around the world. We publish our findings on television, in newspapers and online. We routinely secure mainstream media coverage, including on the BBC, ITV, Sky News, The Times, The Guardian, The New York Times and many more.
Animal Equality also advocates for political change. Our current campaigns include a UK ban on foie gras imports, increased enforcement of existing animal protection laws, legal protections for farmed fish, and Government subsidies for transitioning towards a plant-based food system.
We focus on farmed animals because of the scale and severity of the issue. More than a billion animals are confined and killed for human consumption every year in the UK. Farmed animals also often suffer in some of the worst ways: pigs typically endure painful mutilations, many chickens die of heart attacks, fish are confined in underwater cages, and some farmed animals are victims of deliberate abuse and neglect. But the problem is solvable! By utilising effective campaigning strategies, Animal Equality is having an impact for animals around the world and building a future where all animals are respected and protected and are no longer exploited for human consumption.

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a talented storyteller and strategic communicator to join our busy, dynamic, and focused team of professional activists as a Copywriting Coordinator. With a natural flair for persuasive writing and a background in direct response marketing, you will craft powerful narratives that expose the reality of animal farming, inspire action, and mobilise financial support for our life-saving mission.
You will be responsible for creating compelling content across print and digital platforms – from fundraising appeals and newsletters to blogs, campaign pages, and supporter journeys. Combining creativity with analytical rigour, you will ensure every piece of copy both engages hearts and delivers measurable results. You will proudly champion Animal Equality’s tone of voice, supporting fellow team members to apply our messaging to their copy.
This is a pivotal role in growing Animal Equality UK’s reach, deepening supporter relationships, and driving the income we need to achieve lasting change for farmed animals.
The Copywriting Coordinator will report to the Executive Director and work closely with team members across our UK and international teams.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Be a brand champion: Develop engaging, accurate, and impactful copy that embodies Animal Equality’s tone and mission, sharing the experiences of farmed animals with donors and potential supporters.
- Deliver multi-channel content: Produce persuasive copy for appeals, newsletters, websites, campaign pages, blogs, magazines, impact reports, and petitions, ensuring timely and budget-conscious delivery.
- Support fundraising growth: Write powerful long-form and short-form content that motivates supporters to give and meaningfully engage with our work, enabling Animal Equality to expand our impact for animals.
- Content planning: Work with Campaigns, Marketing, and Communications teams to align content with upcoming exposés and campaign actions, ensuring maximum reach and supporter engagement.
- Collaborate with the team: Synthesise complex briefs into digestible, engaging, and emotive content while collaborating with team members to ensure Animal Equality’s content reaches its full potential through amplification, SEO, and multi-channel repurposing.
- Engage supporters: Lead focus groups and supporter calls to understand motivations and feedback, tailoring communications to strengthen loyalty and impact. Ensure communications are tailored to supporters’ needs, motivations, and advocacy journeys.
- Stay topical and creative: Monitor trends and news stories relevant to animal protection, responding quickly with fresh content that connects to our campaigns.
- Data-driven optimisation: Track, test, and analyse the performance of Animal Equality’s copy (open rates, click-throughs, donations, etc.), producing regular reports and using insights to refine future content.
- Represent Animal Equality’s culture: Support Animal Equality’s life-saving work by producing high-quality output, embracing and representing the organisation’s culture principles proudly at all times, and supporting our philanthropic efforts.
- Take on ad-hoc tasks, as requested by your line manager.
ABOUT YOU
You are a forward-thinking communicator with exceptional writing skills and a passion for advocating for animals with impact. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, balancing resilience and creativity with strategic and data-led decision-making. You are self-motivated, organised, and able to multitask, working on several briefs simultaneously.
You actively seek constructive feedback and use it to continuously improve your work. You show ownership and a growth mindset that is focused on improving the world for farmed animals. Knowledge of farmed animal issues and alignment with Animal Equality’s mission is a must, as is professionalism, adaptability, and discretion.
You must have a minimum of three years’ experience in copywriting or a directly related field, with a proven ability to design and deliver content for successful fundraising. Experience of Pardot, Grav and/or WordPress is a plus.
You will be based remotely in the UK. In addition to monthly meet-ups, some travel within the UK may be required for demonstrations, meetings, and events. While not common, occasional evening or weekend work may be necessary to support campaigning activities. Any additional hours worked and agreed with your Manager can be reclaimed as TOIL.

The British Academy – the UK’s national body for the humanities and social sciences - is seeking an Events Assistant to join our Communications Department, providing key support in the planning and delivery of the year-round programme of public, academic and specialist audience events.
The role
The Events Assistant supports members of the Events Team to deliver a large and varied programme of events, including: public events (debates, discussions, festivals, performances, lates), academic events (lectures, conferences, prizes & medals ceremonies), and our annual Summer Showcase, our yearly free festival of ideas.
You will work directly with the Events Producers and Events Managers to support events delivered at our historic home in London, at partner venues across the UK, and online.
The Events Team ensures that all events are delivered to a high standard, reflecting the Academy in a positive light and ensuring that we are open and inclusive. PROGRAMMES COORDINATOR, YOUTH LEADERSHIP
Job Purpose: To work with the Youth & Universities team to deliver F&BF’s programmes and projects
Salary: £29,802 – £32,565, depending on experience

Duties and Responsibilities
All activities will be undertaken in collaboration with the Youth Voice & Universities team.
Delivery
· To support delivery of the UN award-winning ParliaMentors programme (1.5 days per week):
o Being responsible for 2 teams of university students.
o Supporting 12 London-based students by: having 1:1 coaching calls with each of them to offer guidance and support; conducting sessions to support the teams with their social action projects and identifying area for development; conducting sessions to work through any team dynamic issues that arise.
o Supporting with facilitation of workshops related to social action, politics, leadership and interfaith.
o Administrative and logistical support (e.g., room bookings, processing reimbursements, coordinating student travels).
· To support delivery of City Bridge Trust (CBT) work (3.5 days per week):
o Responsible for overseeing the deliverables for this funder, ensuring all deadlines are met.
o Responsible for delivering four interfaith trainings for Local Authorities within London.
o Planning and delivering the annual Youth Interfaith Summit, the UK’s largest interfaith event for the climate.
o Coordinating the Youth Advisory Board, a group of young interfaith activists who will codesign the Summit.
o Responsible for coordinating the remainder of the Youth Forum for Faith and Ecology in partnership with LSE.
o Identifying and facilitating partnerships between alumni network and other relevant organizations.
o Coordinate collection and analysis of M&E data for internal and funder reporting, and production of case studies.
· To lead on social media for the Y&U team
o Responsible for creating a minimum of four posts per month for Instagram and LinkedIn for the F&BF and ParliaMentors accounts.
