Role Requirements
The post holder will line manage the charity’s Shop Managers, supporting them to achieve agreed income targets. Working with colleagues, this role will also be responsible for proposing and then implementing new business initiatives, such as pop-up opportunities, niche offers and promoting online sales within the team as well as monitoring expenditure in line with budget expectations.
With experience of working in a complex environment, across a large and diverse workforce, you will be exceptionally organised with a high-level of attention to detail. You will naturally possess excellent inter-personal skills, and an ability to consult and positively engage with key stakeholders across the organisation.

Key Roles and Duties
In this exciting role you will be responsible for raising unrestricted income from individuals by planning and executing the day-to-day campaigns to recruit, engage and retain supporters through a range of channels.

Strategic Planning and Implementation
Plan, lead, implement, and evaluate strategies to:
- Increase individual gifts through enhancing the donor journey.

Donor Data Analysis and Segmentation

- Ensure effective use of supporter data for campaign purposes.
Stewardship and Donor Engagement
Manage donor stewardship to provide personalised and engaging communications, including:
- Producing supporter materials.
- Building a thanking programme that offers a personal and engaging donor experience.
- Collaborating with colleagues to identify individual stories for impactful campaign content.
- Ensure all activities and contacts are managed through the charity’s CRM system.
- Maximise gift aid opportunities.
Campaign and Material Management
Work closely with the Communications Manager to:
- Create campaigns.
- Generate publicity opportunities e.g. radio, newspaper, online etc.
- Engage ambassadors and campaign specific ambassadors.
- Collect and draft beautiful stories, testimonies and case studies that engage supporters.
- Manage the production of supporter materials.
- Assist in developing Mailchimp email marketing and analyse and evaluate user journeys to maximise impact.
Innovation and Market Trends
Lead the charge in:
- Coming up with new ideas and initiatives to bolster individual giving.
- Managing a continuous cycle of testing for new channels and techniques for acquisition and retention, based on audience insight and sector trends.
General:

Role Requirements
We are looking for the right person to join the team – this could be someone with experience or someone who is willing to learn and has a strong transferrable skill set.
You will have:
- Effective campaign copy writing and ability to translate ideas into design briefs.
- A minimum level of skill in graphic design (e.g., InDesign, Photoshop, Canva).

What you do
Main purpose of post
This role will lead our individual giving campaigns ensuring key audiences see the impact of the charity and are motivated to donate to support the continuation of our work. It will build on existing successful campaigns, including our Christmas Star appeal, and create new and engaging additions. This is an exciting time to join Young Lives vs Cancer as we set up a new Brand Marketing and Communications function including a team of digital experts.
We are looking to recruit two Digital Marketing Officers to join the newly created Digital Engagement team working to deliver exceptional digital activity that delivers against organisational objectives. Our Surrey Volunteer Recruitment Manager (VRM) works closely with VRMs in Herts and London and our marketing team to promote the MCR programme to organisations and individuals. Your role will be to further develop and deliver a range of events and initiatives that the Harlequins Foundation offers to its supporters to help us to raise the funds we need to deliver our programmes.
