Are you a creative storyteller with a passion for digital communications and the power of green spaces? The Land Trust is looking for a Communications and Marketing Officer to help share the impact of our work with communities, residents, partners and clients across the UK.
This new role will work with colleagues across the charity and will lead on social media and digital communications, create engaging written, photographic and video content, keep our website up to date, and support newsletters, campaigns, events and communications for our parks and green spaces. It will play a central role in helping us to maintain our commitment to open and transparent communication with residents living on service charge sites.
We are looking for someone who is proactive, organised and full of ideas, with strong communication skills and confidence using multiple social media platforms. You do not necessarily need to have a qualification in communications and marketing, as we’re keen to also hear from those with demonstrable related experience. We are also committed to supporting the right candidate with training and support to grow their skills and experience whilst in post.
The post will be involved with and lead on a range of projects and tasks, so you will need a ‘can do’ attitude to managing a varied workload. Experience in the charity, customer service, community engagement or environmental sectors would also be an advantage.

We are accelerating rapidly, with active donors up 24% and new donors up 63% on last year. This enables us to support more Bible translators, transforming local communities. To expand this impact, we have set an ambitious goal to grow our donor base from 6,000 to 27,000 by 2032.We are making bold, long-term investments in top-of-funnel marketing today to make fundraising easier tomorrow.
In this new Director of Marketing role, you will lead us to invest significant resources with courage and conviction – spending money on top-of-funnel marketing today to make fundraising easier tomorrow. You will bring a campaign mindset, emotional excellence, and exquisite storytelling to move audiences to act. You will help us connect with new audiences in a deeply personal way to drive growth. - Salary: £70,000-75,000 + benefits
- Location: Home based or the option of a desk at our office in Oxford
