What the job involves
This is a unique chance to play a pivotal role in driving impactful external communication strategies that support High Value, Philanthropy and Partnerships teams. As a key player in the Strategic Communications, Campaigns and Brand team, you’ll enable the integration of high value fundraising activities into wider organisational communications, inspiring action to fund life-saving initiatives that help men navigate prostate cancer.
Supporting the Head of Strategic Communications, Campaigns and Brand and our senior Business Partner in embedding and developing our business partnering model. A major part of the role will be enabling the integration of High Value Fundraising activity into the wider communications plan to enhance results from our communications.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead the promotion of Bikeability, the Government’s national cycle training programme, as a key member of the management team.
The Head of Marketing and Communications is responsible for the creation, development and delivery of marketing and communications activity with both internal and external audiences, including the Bikeability industry, schools, parents, the general public, media, and key stakeholders.
You will head up a team of talented communication experts, as part of the Strategy team, ensuring the delivery of all communications activity, including marketing campaigns, social media, press relations, industry engagement, and communications support to our public affairs strategy.
You will have excellent experience of delivering outstanding marketing and communications campaigns to increase brand awareness and drive service demand. You will have a collaborative approach and enjoy working as part of a team. You will report to the Director of Strategy and be actively engaged in advising the executive team and trustees.
Responsibilities:
Lead the Promotions and Communications team to:

Develop and deliver The Bikeability Trust’s marketing, communications and media activities, including campaigns and project communications

Manage relevant contracts with external agencies, including website management and graphic design

Deliver the Bikeability social media programme to key audiences including parents, schools, internal Bikeability industry, and general public for wider awareness

Deliver communications support for Bikeability industry through a programme of regular communications
-
Work collaboratively with teams across the organisation to deliver effective project communication deliverables

Effectively manage team budget

Use media monitoring and brand tracking to evaluate impact and manage brand reputation

Ensure evaluation and impact of communications work is collated and learning shared.
Enhance and improve strategic stakeholders’ engagement, including joint campaigns, cross-promotion and/or specific project activity to:

Ensure the Department for Transport and Active Travel England are fully engaged in any communications activity, working with them to amplify messaging

Work with cycling and active travel organisations on joint campaigns and promotions

Suport our Fundraising team to generate engagement and income from individual donors and corporate partners

Work with our agency partner to provide communications support to public affairs strategy

Ensure equality, diversity and inclusion are considered, and the Bikeability industry voice is at the centre, in all research projects and programmes.
Provide communications leadership across The Bikeability Trust:

Champion and advocate the brand, supporting and motivating teams across the organisation to adopt our tone of voice and messaging

Deputise for the Director of Strategy in reporting to Board and attending Board meetings.
Essential Skills and Experience

Spark Inside runs coaching programmes in prisons across London and the South East, to encourage rehabilitation and reduce reoffending.
We are one of the first organisations to take life coaching to people living and working in prison and to use systems coaching to bring together staff and prisoners in UK prisons. Our expert coaches are qualified and trained professionals. In addition to developing and delivering innovative coaching programmes, we are also committed to working with parliamentarians and government officials to influence criminal justice policy, and shift the perception of people in prison, platforming their voices and highlighting their unlocked potential.
To achieve our ambitious strategy, Spark Inside is seeking a Communications Manager to help raise the charity’s public profile, build influence with policymakers, attract funders and commissioners, and ensure the lived experience of young people in the justice system shapes our messaging, campaigns and strategy.
You will work with the Head of Communications and Advocacy to deliver a programme of compelling external communications activities through digital, print, press and events in order to increase Spark Inside’s visibility and ensure our key messages are wide-reaching and impactful.
You will report to the Head of Communications & Advocacy and work closely alongside our Participation and Engagement Manager and Policy Lead, with line management responsibility for a part-time Communications Officer. You will also work with a range of external freelancers on design, film and print. You will build and maintain good relationships with colleagues across the whole Spark Inside team, offering support and advice as well as drawing on their expertise and insights to make our communications impactful and engaging.
While target-driven, you will have a supportive style and work in a highly collaborative way with colleagues across the organisation.

About the role
As our CRM Product Manager, you will define and deliver a visionary CRM strategy that empowers WaterAid’s fundraising success, working closely with technical teams, fundraising stakeholders, and global partners to drive sustainable change.
In this role, you will:
- Set and lead the CRM vision for WaterAid UK and work with international colleagues on a global CRM strategy.
- Define and own the CRM roadmap, aligning it with strategic priorities and ensuring a well-managed product backlog and measurable outcomes.
- Lead and develop the CRM Product team, fostering a high-performing culture and delivering a best-in-class platform for fundraising operations.
- Act as a trusted advisor, championing CRM benefits and ensuring the platform supports income growth across key fundraising channels.

Requirements
To be successful, you will need:
- Proven experience with Microsoft Dynamics or other enterprise CRM platforms, and a clear understanding of how CRM drives fundraising strategy.
- Strong business and systems analysis skills, including the ability to write effective user stories and translate requirements into actionable solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams through technology transformation, with experience in stakeholder management and navigating change.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work across diverse cultures and manage supplier relationships and budgets effectively.
Although not essential, we’d prefer you to have:
- Knowledge of fundraising-specific CRM services such as GiftAid, Direct Debits, BACs, event and supporter management.
- Experience with extract, transform and load (ETL) processes, particularly handling large batch data operations.
- Hands-on experience developing solutions within Microsoft Dynamics CRM.

About the role
Join Dementia UK as a Digital Marketing Executive and play a vital role in raising awareness of the charity’s services, engaging supporters and generating income through digital activity.
Working closely with the Digital team, you will support the development and delivery of the digital marketing strategy, with a particular focus on paid campaign management . You will be responsible for developing and launching key paid campaigns across social media channels, aligned with organisational objectives to maximise income and grow brand reach.
Collaborating with fundraising teams, you'll help shape and enhance supporter journeys through digital channels. The role also includes regularly reporting on the performance of live campaigns, as well as conducting post-campaign analysis and offering clear, data-driven recommendations across paid social and PPC.
To succeed in this role, you’ll need proven experience of managing digital campaigns using Meta, alongside a solid understanding of the Meta ad suite and experience of overseeing PPC campaigns. The ability to produce comprehensive campaign reports that clearly communicate results, insights and recommendations is essential.
