About the position
The IT support role is vital to the organisation, as they will have the responsibility for the maintenance of the technical appliances used in the organisation. The IT support will not be required to come in on a weekly basis, but upon request as for when it is needed. The main tasks for the IT support will be reassuring all technical appliances are updates, responding to potential breakdowns and assuring electrical safety. Technical skills are required, in addition to flexibility, as they would need to quickly respond to potential breakdowns etc.
The role provides you with flexibility and autonomy at work. Where necessary, specific training will also be provided to help you develop and grow your skill set.

Content Planner Role Overview: Wekume’s Content Planners work on a team to build out our monthly content calendars. You will report to the Social Media Lead and work closely with our Platform Managers who handle our day-to-day social media presence. Our Platform Managers have what they need at the moment they are ready to post because you will coordinate between them and our Marketing, Digital Graphics, and Videography teams. You will employ your vision and skill for future planning to build out our long term strategy.

Overview
We are seeking a proactive and innovative Digital Champion Volunteer to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in enhancing our online presence and driving our digital marketing initiatives. Could you make a difference as a volunteer Digital Champion?
We are looking for people with a good understanding of how to use computers,
smart phones and tablets to give peer support to people who are new to these
devices. You will help them to do things like:
• use Google
• set up an email account
• look for reliable health information online
• connect with friends and family using video calling
• use MS word to write a CV
• access job search websites
You need a good level of basic computer skills, but you don't have to be an IT
genius. Much more important is having enthusiasm and patience to spend some
time helping others to get online.

Requirements:

- Ability to effectively market and promote opportunities.

At a glance
Raise awareness and promote the work of The Maypole Project by attending local events and giving talks about the charity’s work.
What will I do?
- Deliver talks and presentations to local organisations and community groups e.g. WI, Round Table, Rotary, schools, multi-faith groups etc.
- Attend cheque presentations and officially thank donors for their support.
- Keep up to date with current work and projects at The Maypole Project.
- Encourage individuals, local organisations and groups to fundraise and/or volunteer on behalf of The Maypole Project.
- Co-ordinate information stands at local events on behalf of The Maypole Project, providing information on the charity’s work.
- Distribute leaflets and posters for local organisations and businesses to display.
- Full training will be given in this role and all materials, posters, leaflets etc. will be provided .
Time commitment
Specific times will be agreed depending on the volunteer’s availability. A willingness to work unsociable hours e.g. morning assemblies, early evening meetings and weekends would be appreciated.
