They will also be responsible for our email marketing and use this channel to communicate key messages about Society membership, activities and events to members, external stakeholders and event attendees.

Key responsibilities of the role

  • Proactively identify opportunities to tell compelling stories about physiology research and the work of physiologists through press releases, news articles and blogs, showcasing physiology as relevant and topical.
  • Coordination of the editorial and production of our quarterly member magazine, Physiology News.
  • Coordinate email marketing activities in support our membership, events and other Society objectives.
  • Support marketing activities of The Society by providing written material, such as promotional copy.
