This is a new and exciting role that will build and develop relationships with churches and individuals, to secure significant income, and bring in frequent and targeted income through regular donations, fundraising campaigns and events. Main Responsibilities:
- Develop deliver and monitor a fundraising strategy for Pecan.
- Establish systems, procedures, proactive stewardship, and an engagement programme to provide the highest levels of service to Pecan's supporters.
- Assist with setting up our CRM database, developing and maintaining it to ensure efficient, appropriate data capture and analysis for the purpose of effective stewardship, fundraising and communications.
- Develop an Individual Giving and Acquisition strategy that drives growth for individual giving across multi-channel campaigns and initiatives.
- Pioneer and develop a broad range of relationships with churches, organisations, and denominations across Southwark.
- Management of a part time Partnerships Manager with responsibility.
Essential Requirements:
- 3 years charity fundraising experience or evidence of very relatable experience.
- Experience / understanding of fundraising campaigns.
- Experience working on either eTapestry, Raisers Edge, Salesforce or Donorfy CRM systems.
- Ability to connect and network with a wide range of people through a broad variety of communication methods.
- A good level of general education including GCSE Maths and English plus A-levels or equivalent.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Royal College of Physicians at a crucial time. The RCP is the oldest medical royal college representing doctors in over 30 specialties from cardiology and gastroenterology to geriatric and respiratory medicine.
The senior public affairs and policy manager will help us to understand the key policy issues in health and healthcare and lead our influencing work, developing the RCP’s networks, particularly in parliament and government.
You will help manage and oversee a portfolio of high-profile work across a range of topics, proactively identifying opportunities for the RCP to influence the agenda and working with RCP fellows and members to shape and progress our campaigns. You will lead and manage our public affairs work, contributing your expertise to design and lead influencing strategies, campaign planning and policy development for a range of issues.
You will have demonstrable experience of developing and delivering successful influencing strategies, using a range of parliamentary influencing tactics to achieve policy change. You will be as comfortable speaking to parliamentarians and briefing senior leaders for meetings as you are writing consultation responses and policy briefings. You will be able to engage with the policy detail, while appreciating the bigger political picture and our place in it.
You will lead and manage the organisation’s stakeholder engagement to uphold our position as a leading health and care organisation. Central to that will be maintaining a network of contacts across the sector, in parliament, including political advisers, and the civil service. You will work with the president and senior officers to develop policy positions and advocate for them to external stakeholders within UK Government, Parliament and the wider health and care sector.
You will maintain a keen awareness of developments in the external landscape and make recommendations for how to evolve and progress our campaign messaging and policy positioning in response. Working closely with media colleagues, you will help to develop our voice with communications approaches that ensure high impact for our policy and campaigns work, including the Inequalities in Health Alliance. You will help us to analyse and interpret complex information to aid understanding and decision making and develop lines to take, draft public statements and media comments and brief senior officers and staff.

Purpose and scope
Key responsibilities
- Maintaining a keen awareness of issues within the health sector, politics and the media in order to advise senior officers and staff; identify opportunities for influencing and policy development; provide support and advice to RCP boards and committees; and inform other RCP activities as appropriate.
- Working proactively to identify opportunities for parliamentary engagement, working with the media team to ensure relevant issues are highlighted to the media.
- Developing proactive and reactive policy positions on high-profile issues relating to the RCP’s work as required, working in partnership with senior officers, RCP members, communications colleagues and other staff and organisations.

The Role (30hrs per week)
· To provide day to day management and supervision of our remote Support Team, providing guidance and support to deliver appropriate information and advice for our mums and families.

Job Purpose & Responsibilities
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the post holder will manage the Support Team at Mummy’s Star. More specifically you will be responsible for:
Support Team Management (50%)
- Provide quality support, leadership, development and line management
- Oversee the delivery of individual, tailored support for families
· Regular review and assessment of caseload including co-ordinating weekly caseload meetings and management of new grant application flow to Trustees.
· Work with the support team to regularly monitor, evaluate and report on the support provided by Mummy’s Star.

· Working with the CEO and Operations Manager to ensure the wider team has appropriate resources and support around wellbeing

Information and Support Casework Delivery (50%)
· Receiving referrals and assessing needs of families from contact via self referral (post, email, online and social media) and third party referrals (health care professionals, families and charities)
· Providing families with the appropriate support based on their needs, this will include 121 emotional support, signposting to financial/practical support and peer support via our online forum.
· Ensuring support to mums and families is reviewed at regular intervals.
· Maintain and monitor the online peer support forum.
Other Duties and information about the role
· The post holder may be required to undertake any other duties that fall within the nature of the role and responsibilities of the post as required to support the charity and beneficiaries.
· Some evening and weekend work may be required but time off in lieu (TOIL) will be given for this.

Reprezent is a not-for-profit social enterprise and specialist youth development organisation. Our award-winning approach helps young people to realise their full personal potential by providing training and development programmes that enable them to jumpstart their careers and develop a core suite of social, emotional and broadcast skills. At the helm of our operation is Reprezent Radio, a dynamic youth-led community radio station based in South London. Since 2010 the station’s hallmark has been empowering young voices and championing the narratives of diverse and underrepresented communities, and as a result many of our beneficiaries are those deemed ‘hardest-to-reach’ (young black South Londoners, early school leavers, second generation immigrants).
Our unique training model combines in-person training courses with work experience placements at the station, resulting in a cohesive programme of entry-to-advanced level training provision and an active waiting list of over two thousand people.

Key competencies and attributes
Strategic communication: At least 5 years’ experience delivering top class communications and expert understanding of how strategic communications deliver change. Demonstrable experience in strategy design and execution. About the role:
The fundraising team raise approximately £400K annually and aspiring to grow by over half a million by 2025. You will be responsible for leading and growing income via the charities Corporate Partnerships and Sporting Challenges. The ideal candidate will have high-level experience in corporate fundraising.
Key responsibilities include:
- Provide excellent account management to some of the charities existing and new corporate relationships.
- Carry out effective prospect research.
- Engage companies in our sporting challenges.
- Nurture effective relationships with corporate partners to achieve the best outcomes for the charity.
- Manage and grow the charities portfolio of challenge events to maximise income from this fundraising stream to achieve and exceed set income and expenditure targets, offering opportunities for engagement, and fundraising across the calendar year.
- Plan and deliver the marketing and recruitment of a range of events, including the London Marathon and other major running, hiking, cycling, swimming, skydiving and ultra-challenges.
- Coordinate and create content for the Fundraising Team communications via social media and digital communications to increase engagement from supporters.
- Create and manage annual budget lines to ensure income and expenditure meet set financial targets to maximise a return on investment.
- Monitor and report on income and expenditure for the relevant budget lines.
- Actively participate in team meetings.

About you:
To be successful in this role you will have:
- A proven track record of successfully managing a charity’s corporate partnerships and sporting challenges.
- Good knowledge of the principals of customer service/supporter care and donor development.
- Sound knowledge of GDPR and the impact on fundraising in terms of on-going consent and deletions of donors.
- Significant experience of working within a charity in a similar fundraising role.
- Experience of developing new fundraising products and building a programme of engagement to grow fundraising income.
- Experience of managing events, preferably sporting challenge events.
- Excellent digital skills with experience of using a variety of online platforms, including website editing, image re-sizing, social media, and e-news content creation.
- Experience of using a CRM database to maintain data accurately, and an understanding of how to extract and evaluate information.
