We are looking for a new colleague to join our Housing Team in Dorset, to contribute to developing a safe and inclusive community for our customers.
In this busy role you'll work alongside your housing management colleagues to tackle all forms of hate crime, nuisance and anti-social behaviour.
You'll manage your own caseload and build effective working relationships with external agencies, including the police and legal advisors.
You'll make a big difference to people's lives within an experienced, supportive and supported team.
What you'll need:
• Ideally, you'll have previous experience of anti-social behaviour related housing management services or be able to demonstrate transferable skills and experience from a similar type of customer facing role.
• Experience of dealing with challenging behaviour and resolving conflict
• Strong communication skills with previous experience of working with customers in a demanding environment
• The ability to be self-motivated and highly organised
• Strong IT skills including MS Office
• The ability to establish, develop and maintain effective working relationships with all work colleagues, contractors and partnering agencies
• A full UK driving licence and access to your own transport
What you need to know:
You will be joining our team in Dorset Team and there will also be some casework across the neighbouring counties of Hampshire, Wiltshire and Devon.
This is a hybrid role where you'll work from the comfort of your own home or one of our regional offices.
Our regional offices provide the opportunity for colleagues to collaborate and work flexibly, we are happy to consider candidates from outside the Dorset area who enjoy working with different teams and travelling as part of their role.
The role is permanent, and you'll be working full time.
The starting salary is £32,000 - £38,000 depending on your experience.
A basic DBS check will be completed if you are successful.

About the role
This is an pivotal time to join us as we continue to roll out support services for people with incurable breast cancer.
This role leads on the further development of Breast Cancer Now’s secondary breast cancer services across the UK and online, building on the success of recent growth and exploring new opportunities. As a member of the services leadership team, you’ll make a full contribution to the leadership, strategic planning and development of Breast Cancer Now’s support services, working collaboratively with other heads and managers across the organisation.

Specialist Child to Parent Violence delivery:
- Advocate for the rights of children to be respected, heard and protected.
- Deliver sessions for parents using Non Violent Resistance (NVR) techniques and child and family members, applying a systematic family approach to managing violence and abuse in the home.

- Attend training sessions to enhance their delivery and understanding of NVR.
- Be personally accountable for the completion of assessments, pre and post questionnaires, and End of Intervention reports, and ensure they are to a high standard.
- Provide support and consultancy to other professionals to ensure appropriateness of referrals and improve understanding on NVR and CBT techniques and working with families (parents and children and young people.

The successful candidate will join our busy Governance team, reporting to the Head of Governance and working closely within a core team of two officers and two senior officers.

Responsibilities/ Role
- Support and develop relationships across the community income stream from new and existing partners with a plan to maintain and grow income in subsequent years in line with our fundraising strategy.
- Undertake research into potential new campaigns and advances in community fundraising.
- Grow and steward a pipeline of new and existing audiences and fundraising opportunities, ensuring to always maintain the highest quality supporter journey.

Job Description: Training and Events Officer
The Training and Events Officer will play a key role developing and delivering high quality professional development, training, events, workshops to SLA members and wider audiences. DFN Project SEARCH offer an evidence-based supported internship model which takes place entirely in the workplace.
