As a local grant maker, Young Camden Foundation's grants processes and operations are key to our success. This role will suit an adaptable and organised team player, who is up for a challenge and keen to learn.
You will lead and develop YCF’s significant grant-giving programmes, organising and improving the grants process, keeping donors in the loop, and communicating the impact of the small grants programmes, and coordinating support from the team to ensure this work is well supported. In this role you will oversee both YCF’s small grants programmes to members, and also YCF’s delivery of the Holiday Activities & Food Programme, which together amount to around £900,000 per year in grants out to Camden’s youth sector.
You will lead on YCF’s operations, including clerking to the Board of Trustees, ensuring timely applications and reporting to funders, and overseeing all aspects of YCF’s operations. You will be supported by our Operations & Administrations Apprentice. As a natural team player working in a small team, you will spot opportunities to support YCF’s membership (especially regarding grants) and the other functions of YCF’s work. Main Purpose of the Role
Grants management:
· Grants management: You will direct and lead the YCF small grants programmes (including Small & Mighty Fund, Holiday Opportunities Fund and Heads Up Mental Health Fund, of around £150,000 p.a.), including leading on design and guidelines, engagement with YCF’s grants committee structures, and reporting back to Trustees and funders. The ITF is looking for an experienced administrative/ global operations leader to head our administration department. This role is central to ensuring the smooth and effective delivery of support for governance, meetings and events across our departments including land transport, civil aviation and tourism, women transport workers, young transport workers, legal, campaigns, communications, and the office of the general secretary.
About the Role
The Head of Global Administration leads the ITF’s global administration function, ensuring the effective delivery of administrative, travel, language and governance support services across the organisation. The role provides strategic leadership and operational management to ensure the systems, processes and resources are in place to support ITF programmes, campaigns and governance activities worldwide.
It leads a global administration team with six direct reports, including administration coordinators, the travel coordinator and translation coordinators.
You will work closely with ITF regional offices and affiliates worldwide to ensure consistent, high-quality administrative support across the organisation.
Overseeing all administrative processes, you will maintain constructive relationships with affiliates and social partners, manage venue and service contracts, and support accurate and timely budget administration. Working closely with the Director of Global Campaigns and Operations, senior leaders and regional colleagues, you will help strengthen administrative systems that are efficient, coordinated and fit for purpose.

We’re looking for a part-time Executive Assistant (20 hours per week) to support our Executive Leaders and help Samaritans continue to be there for people when it matters most.
As an Executive Assistant, you’ll be highly organised and a great communicator. You’ll be responsible for providing highly efficient and effective support across all administrative and organisational activities. Working in a responsive team you will be one of the first points of contact for the Executive Leadership Team and will assist with administration and organisation of diaries for meetings and travel arrangements, preparing briefs and drafting a range of communications. You’ll attend key meetings in a supporting role and ensure efficiency and timely support to the Leadership team.
You’ll also assist with front-line reception administration services in the Ewell (Surrey) Office as required.
Contract terms:
£32,000 - £34,000 per annum, plus benefits (£18,285 - £19,428 pro-rata for 20 hours)
Permanent
Part-time, 20 hours per week
Predominately office Based in Ewell (Surrey), with occasional opportunity to work from home
Some occasional out of hours and weekend attendance at events/meetings.
