Job description

Are you passionate about empowering people who’ve experienced homelessness? Do you thrive in dynamic environments where no two days are the same? Join Greater Together Manchester as our new Activities & Wellbeing Coordinator and be at the heart of change.

You’ll lead on our vibrant Lifeskills programme – a series of engaging, supportive sessions designed to boost wellbeing and independence for people who have experienced homelessness. From fitness to creativity, from practical skills to social connection, your job is to make every session meaningful and empowering.

You'll coordinate and deliver sessions, recruit and support volunteers, build partnerships, and keep things running smoothly behind the scenes. It’s a hands-on, people-focused role with real impact.

What We’re Looking For

  • A confident communicator who can engage people from all walks of life

  • A creative thinker with strong organisational and administrative skills

  • Experience working with vulnerable groups or in homelessness services

  • Comfortable using social media, Microsoft Office, and CRMs

  • Someone who’s flexible, proactive, and passionate about social justice

  • Access to a car and willingness to travel across Greater Manchester

At Greater Together Manchester, you’ll be part of a team that’s bold, supportive, and driven by purpose. We don’t just respond to poverty – we work to end it through community action, compassion, and collaboration.

Application Instructions

Please ensure that your cover letter highlights your relevant skills and experience, and directly addresses how you meet the qualities outlined in the person specification.
