Ashinaga UK is recruiting a Programme Coordinator to support the delivery of the Ashinaga Africa Initiative leadership development programme for African Scholars studying in the UK. As part of a mission-driven global organisation, the coordinator will play a key role in ensuring smooth programme operations, student support, and administrative excellence throughout the annual Scholar cycle. This role is ideal for someone who is organised, proactive, and passionate about helping young leaders thrive. The coordinator will work closely with the Programme Manager to streamline processes, support events, maintain essential systems, and strengthen the overall Scholar experience across the year.
The Ashinaga movement was founded in Japan in the 1960s and has since expanded across the globe, empowering over 120,000 orphaned youth with access to education and support to achieve their full potential. The Ashinaga Africa Initiative was launched 11 years ago with the aim of equipping future leaders for Africa through undergraduate scholarships and leadership development opportunities. Ashinaga UK is proud to be part of this global movement, contributing to the mission of transforming lives and communities through education. Our work is primarily in the UK through collaboration with university partners and donors.
Programme Coordinator
- Location: Remote. Candidates must be willing to travel regularly for programme activities and team meetings.
- Contract: Full-time, Monday to Friday with occasional work on weekends or evenings.
- Hiring Date: February 2025 (Initial 12-month contract with the possibility of renewal).
- Salary: £30,000 - £32,000 dependent on candidate’s experience.
- Pension: You will be enrolled in our Personal Pension Scheme and Ashinaga UK will match your contributions by up to 8% of your basic salary.
- Holiday allowance: 24 days per annum (pro rata - in addition to public holidays).
- Probation: The postholder will be subject to a six-month probation period.

Key Responsibilities
Programme Coordination & Operations
- Support the end-to-end delivery of Ashinaga UK’s annual programme cycle (including university preparation camps, inductions, monthly calls, workshops, summits, and graduation activities).
- Deliver administrative logistics, schedules, venues, travel arrangements, and programme communications.
- Coordinate speaker invitations, facilitator briefs, and session materials.
- Track Scholar attendance, progress and compliance across the year.
- Draft Scholar-facing policies to support effective delivery of the programme.
Scholar Support
- Support Scholars in their academic, personal and professional development through the AAI leadership framework, including check-ins, coaching and progress tracking.
- Assist in the development, organisation, and delivery of student support programming such as leadership events, workshops, and one-on-one coaching call logistics.
- Support Scholars as they develop their Ashinaga Proposal social impact projects.
Data & Systems Management
- Maintain programme records, databases, and reporting tools (including through our Scholar App, CRM, and internal systems).
- Support the Programme Manager in monitoring programme KPIs and documenting insights.
Communication
- Write articles, Scholar profiles, and programme updates for use on the Ashinaga UK website, newsletters, and external reports.
- Create multimedia content (photos, short videos, social media material) to showcase Scholar stories and impact

Exciting opportunity for an ambitious person to make a real difference for nature!
This role will work with the Land Manager (West) on the delivery of practical improvements for wildlife across GWT nature reserves and throughout Nature Recovery Zones (NRZs) in the west of the county (Lower Wye Valley, Central Forest of Dean, Severn Hams, Leadon Vale) with workshops at Tidenham Chase, Coleford and Gloucester. Habitats include heathlands, ancient woodland, species-rich unimproved grasslands, floodplain meadows, hay meadows, quarry pits, mires and more.
This role will help to mentor Wild Trainees, and work with volunteer teams to help deliver work plan objectives.
An important part of this role will be supporting the trusts conservation grazing objectives with native and hardy breeds of livestock including Highland cattle, Exmoor ponies and Hebridean sheep.
This is a permanent, full-time post (35 hours per week) subject to a six-month probationary period.

We are seeking a full-time member of staff to lead our Alternative Learning Provision (Ed Mentor Programme). The role involves managing a team of staff (Youth Mentors), who are working with young people on the programme to develop confidence, improve educational outcomes and/or reintegrate them back into full time education. Alongside this, you will be required to work closely with key stakeholders (schools, local authorities, families etc), ensuring quality of provision and evidencing its impact.
Your Main Responsibilities:
- Lead, develop and quality assure our Alternative Learning Provision (Ed Mentor Programme), ensuring high standards and positive outcomes for young people.
- Manage, support and develop delivery staff, providing guidance on pastoral, behaviour and safeguarding matters.

At Talent Central, over 150 young people take part in our recreational and competitive activities each week. - Developing a clear fundraising framework and working with our trustees to shape our fundraising strategy

About the Project
The National Lottery funded Meddwl Ymlaen Mind Our Future project is led by The Venture on behalf of the North East Wales partnership. The aim is to empower young people aged 11 to 24 to shape mental health services across Wrexham and Flintshire. Young people will co develop and influence policy, processes and services that affect their mental wellbeing.
Overview of the Role
The Senior Youth Engagement Officer will lead the youth engagement and co production elements of the project. A key part of the role is to lead and facilitate the Young Leaders Advisory Board (YLAB), made up of 11 to 24 year olds who guide the direction of the project. The post holder will support their leadership development, confidence and decision making.
The role also includes developing a strategy to recruit and engage more young people, delivering a calendar of youth led events, and ensuring young voices shape all aspects of the project. The officer will represent Mind Our Future in meetings with stakeholders and support young people recruited into paid roles within the project.
Main Duties
• Lead and facilitate the YLAB, plan and chair meetings, and support members to take an active leadership role.
• Recruit and engage a diverse group of young people to join the YLAB and ensure the group reflects the communities of Wrexham and Flintshire.
• Provide mentoring, coaching and personal development opportunities for young people involved.

Caudwell Youth exists to level the playing field for young people at risk.
We support at-risk young people who are care experienced, have mental health challenges, or are at risk of exploitation or offending.
WHAT WE DO
Caudwell Youth shapes young people’s futures by providing person-centred support to at risk 11 to 24-year-olds through volunteer-led mentoring for up to 18-months, alongside a targeted intervention programme.
Our mentoring service is designed to ensure every young person feels safe, heard and supported. Each young person gains a trusted adult (a trained volunteer) who meets with them once a week to support them as they take steps towards a more positive future.
This year, we have supported more than 400 young people.

ABOUT THE ROLE
To support the Deputy CEO in ensuring the effective delivery and growth of Caudwell Youth’s services.
To oversee the management of operational programmes, ensuring high-quality, person-centred support for young people. To contribute to business development, leading expansion via statutory grants and contracts.
On appointment, you are expected to have significant knowledge and professional experience of your area of specialism and the ability to quickly take on significant responsibility very quickly.
KEY DUTIES
Strategic and External Leadership:
- Lead the effective delivery and development of Caudwell Youth’s programmes, in line with our strategic plan.
- Build and maintain relationships with funders, and strategic partners, with support from the Deputy CEO.
- Identify and secure new funding opportunities, leading on public sector bids and tenders, in line with our strategic plan
- Ensure a youth participation and evidence-based approach in all aspects of service delivery and development.
Services:
- Develop, oversee and report against Operations department budget and plans.
- Oversee operational systems, risk assessments and data to ensure services are safe, needs-led and effective.
- Ensure safeguarding policies are embedded across delivery, acting as DSL if required.
- Support and develop high-performing teams, ensuring training, appraisal, and performance management frameworks are in place.
- Ensure that all programme delivery is trauma informed and person-centred
- Oversee quality assurance processes, ensuring consistent standards across all delivery regions.
- Lead on operational compliance, including health & safety, data protection, incident reporting and regulatory requirements.
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and high-quality practice across the organisation.
- Ensure that programmes are monitored and evaluated effectively and that reporting requirements are met, working with the fundraising team as required
Business Development:
- With support from the Deputy CEO, develop plans to implement a growth strategy focused on securing statutory contracts.
- Act as a key point of contact for commissioners, local authorities, and strategic partners.
- Identify and respond to commissioning opportunities across local government (crime, education, and health sectors) in line with our strategy.
- Lead on bid writing, proposal development, and contract negotiations for statutory contracts and grants
- Work with finance and fundraising teams to create budgets, proposals and tender submissions for statutory contracts
- Be responsible for starting up and implementing new funded programmes to ensure quality in delivery
- Identify new trends, emerging needs and opportunities for partnership projects.
General:

Purpose of the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Partnerships Manager. As a skilled relationship-builder, you excel in cultivating partnerships that generate income and drive mutual value whilst contributing to achieving strategic goals. In this dynamic role, you will lead diverse partnerships, playing a pivotal role within our expanding fundraising team.
Collaborating closely with the Director of Partnerships and Global Growth the role leads the development and stewardship of strategic partnerships that deliver meaningful impact. The team works closely together to build awareness, inspire support, and deliver exceptional experiences for our donors and supporters.
Purpose of the Role
The Fundraising Officer plays a key role in delivering Race Against Dementia’s fundraising and marketing activity, helping to grow income and strengthen supporter relationships. The role combines operational excellence with creativity: managing systems, data and platforms to ensure effective delivery, while producing engaging content and stories that inspire action.
Duties and Responsibilities
Marketing and Communications
- Manage incoming communications to the fundraising team, ensuring timely, professional responses
- Maintain the CRM with up to date and accurate supporter information, and act as organisational lead on CRM best practice and management
- Set up dashboards and reporting systems in the CRM to monitor donor behaviours and patterns Provide regular updates and reports to the fundraising team on supporter behaviours, channel performance, trends etc. to inform strategy
Fundraiser communications and events
- Act as first point of contact for individuals and organisations fundraising for the charity
- Record and track all fundraising events and activities, implementing communication plans to welcome, support, and thank participants
- Work with the Public Fundraising and Marketing Lead to build digital and automated onboarding and stewardship journeys for community fundraisers
- Oversee the delivery of excellent stewardship for community fundraisers through responsive support, proactive communication and effective use of automated journeys to enhance their experience and results
- Build strategies to maximise fundraiser income, including targets, incentives etc.
- Lead on the planning and execution of fundraising engagement events, optimising the on-site experience and income generation potential.
- Support and coordinate fundraising volunteers for key engagement events, building a stewardship programme across the year
Fundraising Operations
- Manage our major fundraising platforms (e.g. Just Giving) to ensure data accuracy and compliance
- Support the management of our legacy and in memory donations, delivering thoughtful and sensitive supporter communications
- Work with the Finance Manager on monthly direct debits and income reconciliation.
- Undertake research to identify new supporter, donor, trust/foundation and HNW prospects aligned with our mission
Logistics and Administration
- Maintain records of fundraising materials and merchandise, reordering stock as needed.
- Oversee the relationship with the fulfilment house to ensure smooth delivery of goods and supporter packs
- Track and manage auction items and raffle prizes, monitoring usage and income
- Support the delivery of key Race Against Dementia events, providing logistical support and ensuring excellent supporter experiences
- Maintain team calendars, campaign planners, and shared resources to support smooth team operations

London Youth are a charity on a mission to support the capital's youth sector to improve the lives of young people. We do this with and through our members - a network of 600 youth organisations - and at our two outdoor residential centres, Hindleap Warren and Woodrow High House. The Programmes Team in the Delivery Directorate oversees various programmes - delivered with and through members - across sport, employability, mental health, and culture, underpinned by youth involvement. You'll design, deliver and evaluate programmes that provide young people opportunities to improve their skills and qualities, boost their confidence and resilience and develop leadership skills through practical action.
What you will be doing
The Delivery Officer (Good for Girls) will deliver the programme's day-to-day operations and the broader mental health offer to London Youth members. You will deliver Good for Girls, a youth club-based mental health and well-being programme. You will support 10 youth organisations to engage young people in the programme, which enables young women and girls to participate in regular well-being activities and training for young Londoners.
Lead the delivery of the Good for Girls programme
- Coordinate Good for Girls to meet key delivery targets, secure the target recruitment of member organisations, youth workers and young people, and oversee the onboarding process.
- Coordinate Peer Mentors to undertake training and to then support delivery of the programme.
- Work with internal colleagues to ensure organisations participating in our programmes receive a quality experience, such as completing due diligence.
- Working closely with your manager, monitor day-to-day expenditure.
Partner with our member youth organisations mental health delivery partners
- Foster relationships with 10 youth organisations, providing ongoing support throughout all phases of the programmes to ensure successful, flexible, and high-quality delivery is developed collaboratively.
- Coordinate opportunities and key programme events for young people, such as peer mentor training and pitch events.
- Coordinate opportunities and key programme events for youth practitioners, such as Induction Sessions, Focus Groups, and Networks, ensuring delivery is of excellent quality.
- Strengthen, maintain and develop key relationships with organisations delivering on the programme together with youth organisations and ensure schedules are aligned for delivery.
- Provide youth organisations and young people with meaningful new opportunities by brokering opportunities with external partners and generating a quarterly newsletter.
- Deliver with partner organisations on one-off and ad-hoc projects to provide quality opportunities.
Programme monitoring and evaluation
- Collect process and impact data as required in line with the programme's MEL framework.
- Gather evaluation and case studies from young people taking part in the project for programme improvement, reporting and media use.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date Upshot records and Salesforce interactions with member clubs and youth workers on the programme.
- Adhere and feed into both external reports and meetings with funders, and internal quarterly reporting timescales, and support with any funding bids or pitches as required.
- Work with Communications to ensure impact reports are shared externally to showcase successes.
Sustainability and development of London Youth's Programme Offer
- Work closely with London Youth's fundraising team to support future funding bids and to coordinate corporate volunteering opportunities where possible.
- Ensure these opportunities work well for youth organisations on the programme and offer value for members and young people, as well as the volunteers themselves.
Support of directorate, organisation & sector
- Be an active member of the Delivery team and the broader organisation, including supporting colleagues and sharing best practices.
- Feed into wider Delivery directorate and organisation to build a strong and dynamic offer supporting young people and members across London.
- Represent London Youth internally and externally at relevant networks and events to share and learn with others from the youth sector.
