Merchandise and Fulfilment Manager
The Merchandise and Fulfilment Manager role sits in the Brand team and works closely with the wider department, which includes brand, a creative studio, and production. The role supports the whole organisation to source and deliver merchandise, print materials and fulfilment services. This includes the selection and management of suppliers to achieve the best value for Alzheimer’s Research UK, whilst ensuring compliance with responsible sourcing practices. The role also requires an eye for branding and maintaining outstanding levels of consistency across our printed materials, working closely with the Creative team to achieve this. The Merchandise and Fulfilment Manager is also responsible for managing and developing the online shop.
The role has responsibility for significant budget management and relationship building, both internally and externally. The candidate will be a tenacious and driven individual who can bring a proactive and independent approach.
Key Responsibilities:
· Proactively manage and develop Alzheimer’s Research UK’s merchandise offering, ensuring it is relevant and cost efficient, and monitoring and reporting on stock levels.
· Manage and develop the Alzheimer’s Research UK online shop, monitoring sales and responding to customer queries, working with the Digital team to ensure strong day-to-day performance.
· Manage the production of printed materials including health information and events materials.
· Manage our merchandise, print and fulfilment suppliers, leading tenders, contracting, review meetings, and briefing new work.
· Create and manage the merchandise and fulfilment budget for the organisation, completing quarterly reforecasts.
· Develop excellent relationships across the organisation, supporting colleagues to plan their requirements for merchandise and printed materials.
· Play an active role in the Brand management team and the Strategic Marketing directorate, demonstrating the Alzheimer’s Research UK values and leadership attributes.
· Line Manage the Supporter Merchandise and Fulfilment Officer and support their development.

Ways of working:
As part of our Agile ways of working you will be required to work approximately 2 days a week from the office, which is subject to the requirements of the role and the business needs. Flexibility on where you work can be split between working from home and our office.

Overview
Working with the Head of Fundraising, you will play a key role in securing income from corporate partners and major donors to support AVUK’s bold 10-year plan. These partnerships are central to our long-term strategy to transform the landscape of Auditory Verbal provision, ensuring that every family who wants their child to learn to listen and talk can access a publicly funded Auditory Verbal programme in their local area.
This role requires experience in relationship fundraising, ideally working with businesses and/or major donors, and a strong ability to build rapport and trust. You’ll be an effective communicator and collaborator, confident in supporting income generation activities that align and elevate AVUK’s goals.
With experience of securing five to six-figure gifts, you’ll use your commercial acumen to identify and nurture your pipeline and partnerships, contributing to our annual fundraising target of £1.5m and setting the foundations for growth to £2m+ in future years.
This role is ideal for someone who is proactive, diligent, and comfortable taking initiative. You’ll thrive in a dynamic environment where relationship-building and ownership of your work are key to driving income and impact. Contract Details
Location: Primarily remote, with 2 days a month in our London office, plus meetings with partners where required.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Corporate partnerships strategy
- With support and guidance from the Head of Fundraising, lead the development and delivery of AVUK’s corporate partnerships strategy in support of our overall fundraising goals.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities at a five and six figure value, unlocking new opportunities that contribute to a £130k partnerships budget this year.
Business development & income generation
- Work closely with your fundraising and comms colleagues to create compelling proposals and pitches that resonate with corporate and major donor audiences and help you to secure new gifts / partnerships.
- Proactively grow and maintain a strong funding pipeline, creating new prospects for our priority funding areas through quality research, strategic outreach and developing engagement opportunities.
Relationship management & external engagement
- Manage a small portfolio of corporate partnerships including our flagship partnership with Markerstudy Group, delivering excellent stewardship and ensuring long-term engagement.
- Lead the planning and delivery of the Sounds of Success event (November 2026), as a key moment in our stewardship and engagement calendar.
- Support the Head of Fundraising, CEO, and Fundraising Advisory Board in developing relationships with potential major donors, providing inspiring stewardship and maximising opportunities through networks, events, and strategic engagement.

As Policy Manager you will be the driving force of our policy influencing agenda. The Digital Senior Manager will be a vital part of Bite Back’s digital machine — managing the tools that power our public voice, supporter journeys and campaigning infrastructure. Purpose of the Role

Purpose of this Role
Our finance functions are currently partially outsourced to an external contractor. You will support all aspects of Reaching Higher’s work and development through ensuring strong financial systems.

Community Rail Network is a not-for-profit organisation, working across Britain to support a growing ‘community rail’ movement. Community rail promotes sustainable and inclusive travel, coordinates volunteering and place-making projects, and brings people together.
Community rail is made up of 75 community-based partnership organisations, 1,300 station friends volunteer groups, and other community-led initiatives around Britain. Responsibilities
Programme coordination, delivery and monitoring and evaluation:

Ensure good coordination and communication between delivery partners and support their high-quality delivery in line with timeframes and requirements, including via steering group meetings and individual support.

Offer support, guidance and ideas to our delivery partners to assist their work, helping them to build capacity and confidence and meet their objectives. This includes support to engage with, and draw on the experiences, ideas and voices of disabled people.

Other information
This post is home-based, but with some travel (including occasional overnight stays) for project meetings, events and external meetings. Applicants will need local access to a train station to enable rail-based travel for work as needed.

About the opportunity
We are now recruiting for a Programme Coordinator for our schools in the North West.
- The North West Programme Coordinator oversees a caseload of up to seven partner schools. They manage the logistics and organisation of each school’s tutoring programme, working closely with the schools and pupils and managing the pool of volunteer tutors. FearFree delivers services across the Southwest for victims, children and perpetrators of domestic abuse, sexual violence and stalking with the aim to break the cycle of abuse and support all to live free from fear. Job Purpose:
To assist the Fundraising Manager in the delivery of the Sickle Cell Society’s (SCS) Fundraising Strategy and on-going development to achieve its fundraising priorities and targets. The post holder will be someone with a ‘cando’ attitude and the enthusiasm to want to learn and get things done.
