Marketing

• Social media management including the creation of a data led strategy and implementation plan for SMK’s channels.
• Manage the planning, creation, and scheduling of multiple marketing projects, ensuring the ‘SMK voice’ through tone and brand is implemented across digital channels.
• Create the vision for the annual SMK National Campaigner Awards social media approach and manage the roll out.
• Write compelling and impactful content for SMK’s digital channels.
• Create graphics and video content for digital channels using Canva.

The Transforming Peace & Security Campaigner will lead Medact’s campaigning for healthcare spaces which truly centre health and health justice, not surveillance, profiling and policing, in addition to providing ongoing strategic support to members organising against war and nuclear threat. 

This role will lead on our strategic priority area of Ending State Violence. The campaigner will implement campaign strategy focused on targeted organising to build coalitions and solidarity with marginalised communities, continuing our campaign against the Prevent duty in health, and supporting our Medact Abolitionist Approaches to Health Group. They’ll also work with our established Nuclear Weapons group to promote disarmament and encourage investment in nonviolent responses to conflict. The role involves maintaining and deepening existing partnerships with external organisations, grassroots groups and institutions. 

About you

This isn’t an entry-level role but you don’t need to have had a job in an NGO before or be a professional campaigner to be right for it. You might have worked with your local community to campaign on a social justice or health issue that you care about. Or you might be a healthcare worker who has seen the impact of securitisation on your patients and wants to challenge the encroachment of policing and profiling. You’ll have a strong understanding of power and how to work with others to create pressure for change. You need to be a great communicator, able to build trusting relationships with Medact members, academics, partner organisations, and community groups alike. You’ll have an understanding of how digital communications compliment campaigning and an eye for a good media story and the know-how to get it out into the world.

The Senior Strategic Partnerships Manager - Individual Philanthropy (SSPM) is a key member of the Freedom Fund’s partnerships team, responsible for developing and implementing the organisation’s individual fundraising strategy. Who you are:

As a fundraising generalist, you will be well organised, provide strong administrative support, give excellent supporter care, write strong copy and be able to coordinate content creation.

Primary duties:

• You will be responsible for continuing to grow our legacy programme, implementing the strategy developed by the Head of Development. This will include drafting copy and working with a designer to create evergreen legacy content, creating and maintaining content for our website, coordinating and drafting legacy communications and campaigns, managing legacy enquiries, thanking and stewarding legacy pledgers, and managing the legacy pipeline in Beacon.

• You will support our community fundraising strategy. This will mean making sure we have the tools and information for supporters to fundraise for us, whether that be in memory of a loved one, delivering their own fundraising initiatives in aid of The Humane League UK, or through peer-to-peer fundraising. This will include responding to enquiries, thanking and stewarding community fundraisers, coordinating a small amount of external-facing content, creating evergreen content, such as a toolkit that fundraisers can use, creating and updating content for the website, and responding to opportunities that arise, which could include community speaking opportunities, or stalls at events.

• You will support our corporate fundraising offering, ensuring we have the tools and information for businesses to support THL UK in a variety of ways. This will include responding to enquiries, thanking and responding to corporate donors and fundraisers, taking advantage of opportunities, promoting initiatives such as payroll giving, coordinating the creation of evergreen corporate fundraising content, such as a fundraising toolkit for businesses, and creating and updating content for the website.

• You will support our Operations Team, who respond to fundraising email enquiries, and the Development Team, as well as the wider organisation, by coordinating and maintaining FAQs of the most common fundraising queries we receive. This will help consolidate this information in one place, making sure we are consistent, streamlined and efficient in our responses. You will also work with our digital team to find a way to make sure information is accessible to supporters to minimise incoming queries wherever possible.

• You will be responsible for reviewing, investigating, reporting and responding to any fundraising complaints we receive, including escalating these where necessary.

• You will complete due diligence on donors and donations where required. This will include desktop research, completing relevant forms and information in Beacon, and making sure relevant approvals are obtained before accepting donations or approaching new donors or funders.

• You will coordinate essential thanking activities for key donors and supporters. This will include coordinating the design and printing of thanking cards, and other relevant stewardship materials or merchandise, to be utilised by those across the organisation, including to support our volunteers. You will also coordinate thanking campaigns (e.g. thanking monthly donors and major donors), which will involve collating recipient lists, getting cards designed and printed, and coordinating staff and trustees to sign and send.

• You will provide vital administrative support for events, including our annual presence at conferences such as EA Global in London, as well as our own annual supporter event. This could include collating guest lists, staff registration, coordinating invitations and RSVP’s, managing room bookings, hotels and catering, coordinating staff and trustees, and completing risk assessments.

• You will produce clear, accurate and engaging written communications, and coordinate the creation of content. This could mean drafting content for the website, drafting emails, building emails in Engaging Networks, or supporting our Digital Fundraising Lead with developing evergreen content to support our digital fundraising initiatives.

• You will support our Digital Fundraising Lead to make sure our growing pool of monthly donors are thanked and stewarded appropriately, including utilising Beacon, automations and supporter journeys to make the most efficient use of our time.

• You will support our Digital Fundraising Lead to deliver our digital fundraising strategy, by executing relevant aspects, which could include supporting specific campaigns, or building and maintaining fundraising related automations.

• You will help us deliver effective fundraising training and induction materials, such as for new staff and trustee orientations. This could also include coordinating additional training materials, how-to-guides and supporting materials, that are essential in maintaining relevant fundraising knowledge at THL UK.

In addition:

• Utilise our CRM: adding and updating supporter data, generating relevant reports, and analysing and evaluating data to inform campaigns and activities as required.

• Working with Communications and the Digital Fundraising Lead to deliver activities for our donor recruitment and retention.

• Work with the wider Development Team to input into our Development Strategy, as directed by the Head of Development, offering ideas and suggestions to help deliver the strategy and grow income across various income streams.

• Liaise with and coordinate support from third-parties / external consultants where necessary, such as providing support for specific campaigns or projects, and / or providing fundraising materials.

• Help us galvanise further support by lending your organisational skills to fundraising events.

• Attending conferences and events.

• Updating the wider team on fundraising progress.

• Participating in team meetings including note-taking and facilitation.

• Attending in-person workshops several times a year.

Duties and Responsibilities

You will lead the delivery of a transformation roadmap to redesign and improve student services across the Union, focusing on creating efficient, user-centred processes that enhance the experience of student leaders and staff. This will involve analysing current ways of working, identifying opportunities for improvement, and balancing quick wins with longer-term change aligned to the academic cycle.

You will work closely with students, staff and stakeholders across the Union to co-design services and ensure they meet real user needs. Using data, insight and feedback, you will prioritise improvements, build engagement, and ensure that systems and tools—working in partnership with IT and Digital—support the delivery of better services.

Alongside delivery, you will help embed a consistent approach to service design and process management, producing clear documentation and building organisational capability for continuous improvement. You will also ensure that all changes align with governance, risk and compliance requirements, supporting sustainable and effective service delivery.

Our ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, a good understanding of service design or business analysis approaches, and the ability to communicate complex processes clearly to diverse audiences.

Job Description

Prostate Cancer Research is seeking a skilled, relationship driven and commercially minded Senior Account Manager to support the growth of our groundbreaking data initiative, Prostate Progress. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work at the point where healthcare innovation, research, data, and commercial partnerships meet. Playing a pivotal part in ensuring that industry partners receive exceptional service, clear communication, and the highest standards of delivery.

As the day-to-day lead for commissioned studies, you will own and develop a portfolio of relationships across pharmaceutical, biotechnology, MedTech and research organisations. Ensuring seamless coordination between clients and PCR’s internal delivery teams and driving renewed commissions and expanded account value.

The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in account management, an ability to translate complex requirements into clear deliverables, and a passion for working in a purpose driven environment where partnerships drive real world impact for people with prostate cancer.

As part of representing PCR within the life sciences ecosystem, the role will involve both UK and international travel. Including attendance at client meetings, conferences, partner briefings, and key industry events.

Key Responsibilities

Client and partnership management

•  Serve as the primary point of contact for PCR’s partners commissioning data-related activities, coordinating structured communication through kick‑off meetings, milestone reviews, and issue‑resolution processes.
• Build and grow strong, trusted relationships with clients, ensuring clarity of expectations, accurate project tracking, and timely delivery of all commitments.
•  Develop tailored account plans to strengthen engagement, act as a trusted advisor to partners, drive renewals and repeat business, and drive year‑on‑year revenue growth.

Pipeline development and new business support

• Work with the Head of Business Development and Director of Partnerships to contribute to commercial discussions and maintain an organised, strategic pipeline of commercial opportunities across life sciences and research sectors.
• Lead the development of expansion opportunities within existing accounts, helping shape compelling, commercially viable proposals.
• Develop study scopes, timelines, budgets and value propositions that reflect both industry needs and PCR’s capabilities.

Internal Coordination & Project Delivery

• Collaborate closely with PCR’s Head of Project Delivery, Senior Data Analyst, Translational Research Director, and Finance to ensure internal readiness and alignment on all contracts.
• Translate client requirements into clear internal plans.
• Facilitate clear handovers, milestone planning, and resource assessments that support timely delivery and mitigate operational risks.
• Maintain oversight of project progress across active accounts.
• Proactively surface project risks, blockers, or capacity issues, ensuring rapid escalation and problem‑solving.

Commercial Oversight & Reporting

• Shape pricing strategy and commercial recommendations, including value‑based pricing and cost‑benefit narrative development.
• Track financial performance of contracts, supporting accurate forecasting and revenue monitoring with Finance.
• Regularly review account performance
• Identify growth opportunities and commercial risks
• Produce high‑quality pipeline updates, performance summaries, and insight reports for senior leadership.

Compliance & Governance

• Ensure all data‑related work meets GDPR and contractual data protection requirements
• Coordinate with colleagues to uphold ethical and regulatory frameworks related to research, intellectual property, and partner agreements
• Maintain accurate documentation and audit‑ready records across CRM and contract systems

Sector Engagement

• Represent PCR and Prostate Progress at industry events, conferences, and networking forums, helping build visibility and cultivate new leads. Includes international travel.
• Gather client and market insights to inform service development, modelling formats, and partnership offerings, develop a strong understanding of the external markets.
• Act as an ambassador for PCR’s mission and the value of Prostate Progress.

Skills and Competencies

Experience

• Significant experience in account management, partnerships or client leadership roles.
• Experience working with and/or within pharmaceutical, NHS, biotechnology, MedTech, clinical research organisations, or related scientific/healthcare environments (desirable).
• Demonstrated success managing complex B2B accounts and delivering high‑quality partnership experiences.

Individual Giving Officer 

Working Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday with some evenings and weekend work

The Role

Our Individual Giving programme is central to our fundraising strategy to increase our unrestricted, sustainable income. This is a key role in supporting the Individual Giving Manager to recruit and steward donors across a range of channels including face-to-face, telemarketing, direct mail and digital. You will have the opportunity to work across multiple programmes including regular giving, lottery, cash appeals, in-memory and legacy, as well as to play a key role in our matched funding Christmas campaign. This role will help to meet or exceed our annual targets which will help us provide the best care for patients, staff and loved ones at our hospitals. 

Key Tasks 

• Help to co-ordinate our match funded Christmas Campaign 
• Using evidence-based insights, support with the planning and implementation of several integrated direct marketing campaigns across a range of channels including direct mail, email, social, display advertising and newsletters including managing suppliers on concept creation, oversight of copy and creative and delivery schedules. Work with the IG Manager on performance analysis and learnings to enable enhancements and improvements  
• Support the IG Manager in the set up and operational management of our face-to-face fundraising campaigns for regular donor and lottery player recruitment. Including invoice processing, complaint handling, site management and training for third party fundraising teams  
• Work with the other IG Officer to optimise and improve our regular giving and lottery stewardship journeys. This will include researching and proofing content, engaging with supporters and looking for opportunities to cross-sell 
• Being proactive in writing up process documents and maintaining documents for Individual Giving Team  
• Day-to-day point of contact with external agencies including face-to-face agencies, creative agencies, printers and fulfilment houses  
• To support the Head of Supporter Engagement with the development of a legacy marketing programme 
• Support with the stewardship of our in-memory donors, including donors who set up tribute pages on MuchLoved 
• Work with hospital staff and stakeholders to gather content, encourage fundraising and manage our contactless stations  
• Work with our Supporter Services Team to monitor and action all feedback, speaking with supporters over the phone and via email, and properly recording supporter interactions on our database 
• Work with the Fundraising Operations team to open fundraising post and log cash, card and cheque donations

Main purpose of job:To work in the Navigator team supporting individuals who have or are experiencing sexual violence and or sexual abuse. As a first contact worker, you will act as a gateway to both specialist counselling and advocacy services and additional specialist support services in Essex. You will use your considerable experience to provide a high-quality telephone information and support service.

The support you deliver will help individuals on their pathway to wellbeing, recovery, and social inclusion through building trusting and collaborative relationships. You will guide users to make informed decisions about their own wellbeing, maximising their independence and engaging in appropriate community or clinical resources/interventions.

You will work within a team of first contact navigators under the supervision of a service lead. You will be highly motivated and dedicated, have strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills with the ability to work under minimal supervision.

Start date: As soon as possible (subject to Enhanced DBS Check and satisfactory references).

Salary:£26,496 - £28,845 (NJC Scales 12-17) per annum, pro-rata.

Contract: This will be a permanent contract.

Hours: 35 hours per week.  

Place of work: CARA premises in Colchester and some remote home working if a suitable environment is available.  Some travel to other locations in Essex may be required, particularly during the induction period.

Job Description

The First Contact Navigator posts will play a central role in the CARA team, ensuring that our service users and other agencies receive a high-quality service from the moment of first contact. You will work as part of a wider team of First Contact Navigators across Essex, based at our Synergy Essex Partner centres. The post liaises with clients, the CARA team and external agencies, providing advice, support and information.

The First Contact Navigator will engage with individuals who are experiencing, or who have experienced, sexual violence and or sexual abuse who require information, signposting and short-term support.  You will be the first contact and conduct first meetings, managing your own caseload and co-ordinating personalised support for individuals on their pathway to wellbeing. You will have strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills with the ability to work under minimal supervision. You will support people who use CARA services to make informed decisions about their wellbeing, maximising their independence and engaging in appropriate community or clinical resources. You will work collaboratively with service users, the CARA team and other professional agencies to navigate and coordinate services.  

At the outset, the main responsibilities of the post will be:

• To act as a first point of contact for new referrals and enquiries, providing information, emotional support, advice and signposting.
• To complete first contact calls and assessments with clients over the telephone, assessing client needs and suitabilty for services.
• To ensure information about new referrals/enquiries is accurately recorded on CARA’s database in real time.
• To work collaboratively and build trust with service users, agencies, personal and professional support networks to collate relevant information to effect individualised support requirements.
• To assess and engage service users not currently engaged in appropriate specialist sexual violence services.
• To seek and respond to referrals from a variety of internal and external sources.
• To assist survivors and relatives/supporters of survivors in understanding the range of resources and services available to them.
• To support service users to engage effectively with appropriate services to meet their individual needs and aspirations.
• To identify and respond to any safeguarding concerns
• To work as a link between clients, CARA staff and external agencies, ensuring appropriate information is passed on.
• To work closely with the Essex-wide team of First Contact Navigators and Information and Referral Coordinators to ensure effective referral processes across Essex.
• To act as a point of contact for external agencies making referrals to CARA, answering queries about our referral process.
• To cover the enquiry line and the office phone and deal with enquiries as required.
• To pro-actively promote CARA’s services to external agencies, ensuring they are aware of our referral procedures.
• To contribute to development of promotional information, to ensure information about the referral process is clear and accessible.
• To attend regular team meetings and to work with colleagues to further the objectives of CARA.
• To adhere in full to all CARA’s organisational policies and procedures, including safeguarding procedures.
• To report to the Service Engagement Manager, Head of Operations, CEO and Trustees as required, including the production of regular written reports.

Our new shop in Derry City is a thriving, busy hub that represents the future of charity retail - a modern, vibrant space that has brought new energy to Castle Street since opening in June. As a dynamic addition to the high street, it showcases how charity retail can inspire communities while supporting Concern's life-saving work.

You will be instrumental in making sure the shop is at the hub of the local community, ensuring a steady flow of donations and acting as the face of Concern Worldwide and raising public awareness of our campaigns.

You will lead by example and be confident working within a fast-paced retail environment.  You will contribute towards the success of the shop by:

• Ensuring a high standard of customer service
• Achieving targets to maximise income
• Maintaining a high standard of creative visual merchandising
• Actively recruit volunteers and establish the shop in the local community
• Generate stock to fill the shop

About you

As Shop Manager, you will have the opportunity to be part of a small, but dedicated and successful retail team.  You will be a highly motivated self-starter who takes full ownership of your role. You will lead and motivate your shop volunteers in maximising the fundraising income for the shop.  It will be your chance to demonstrate and further develop your existing strong commercial awareness, relationship management, sales and customer service skills.

Concern Charity Retail in Northern Ireland

Concern Worldwide operates a growing retail network of eight shops across Northern Ireland, each playing an important role in supporting our work to end extreme poverty. Our portfolio currently includes two specialist bookshops located in Derry and Holywood, alongside five established charity shops in Ballycastle, Newcastle and across Belfast on the Lisburn Road, Antrim Road and Ormeau Road.

CONDITIONS OF APPOINTMENT

It is the nature of this post that weekend working (Saturday) and occasional additional seasonal hours are part of the normal working week. Working hours will also involve some evening work to meet the needs of the post. Due to the nature of this role, flexibility is required. 

We are happy to consider candidates interested in either part-time (28 hours per week) or full-time (35 hours per week). Flexibility required.

Welcare is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced manager committed to supporting local families to lead and manage their Family Centre and Family Resilience service in Redhill. 

The Family Centre is part of a local integrated system with a wide range of partners that builds family resilience in Surrey and seeks to improve life chances for the most vulnerable children.

You would manage a small, dedicated team of family support workers and have lead responsibility for supervising their work and ensuring delivery of our sub-contract with the YMCA.

Successful candidates will already have the right to live and work in the UK without restrictions. We are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this role.
