St Swithun’s has undergone a multi-million-pound conservation and repair, followed by the very successful delivery of funded events and activities over the past few years. Following the conclusion of this funded period, we’re focused on keeping the doors of this fantastic and versatile space open for the community and external organisers.

Overall job purpose

The Site Coordinator will be solely responsible for delivering events at this stunning Grade I listed church. From the initial enquiry through to final delivery, they will oversee the planning and coordination of third-party hires, ensuring every detail is handled with care and precision while providing seamless and functional hires of this wonderful historical building. Working alone, the Site Coordinator will ensure there is continued access to the building for community groups and hirers, whilst overseeing all aspects of the day to day administration of the venue; This includes site operations, record keeping, event management, hire marketing and site presentation.

About this job

We’re looking for a passionate and experienced leader to join us as our Virtual Communities Manager. This is a key national role overseeing the delivery, growth and continuous improvement of our virtual community and peer support services for people affected by MS.

You’ll lead a dedicated team to deliver safe and inclusive online spaces and peer support services that support people to manage life with MS. You’ll also play a central role in shaping how these services grow, ensuring they remain community-led and responsive to the needs of the MS community.

Position: Area Fundraising Manager

Location: Barnsley, South Yorkshire

Job Purpose

The Director of Fundraising & Partnerships is accountable for leading the vision, strategy and performance of Habitat GB’s fundraising, partnerships, engagement and resource mobilisation activity.

This role combines senior‑level engagement and income generation leadership with organisational and strategic responsibility. The postholder will design and deliver ambitious, sustainable income and partnership strategies; strengthen Habitat GB’s profile and positioning; and lead a high‑performing, values‑led team.

As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, the Director of Fundraising & Partnerships plays a key role in organisational leadership, transformation, and long‑term sustainability, working collaboratively across Habitat GB, the international Habitat network and with a wide range of external partners. This role has 4 direct reports, and an overall team of 10.

Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities:

Strategic Fundraising, Partnerships & Engagement

• Design, deliver and adapt an integrated multi‑year fundraising and partnerships strategy, setting ambitious and achievable targets that increase income, engagement and impact.
• Lead the organisation’s approach to partnerships, philanthropy, fundraising and resource mobilisation across all non-institutional income streams, including:
  • Trusts and foundations (UK and international)
  • Corporate partnerships and strategic alliances
  • High‑net‑worth individuals and philanthropic supporters
  • Blended funding, including institutional and investment‑linked income where appropriate
• Shape and deliver Habitat GB’s positioning as a credible, innovative and impactful development and housing partner.

•  Lead and model relationship-based development with priority prospects, partners and influencers.

•  Act as a collaborative senior leader, supporting the National Director in delivering HFHGB’s strategy and vision.

As a Compliance & Recruitment Officer you will deliver a high quality and responsive service to prospective candidates, recruiting managers and business stakeholders. Skills and Responsibilities 

On-Boarding & Compliance

• Coordinate all aspects of the onboarding and compliance process and ensure that the processes are completed accurately, efficiently and in a timely manner, including: issuing contracts, pre-employment compliance checks, and keying new starters/setting up new starters on the onboarding system.
• Ensure the accurate entry and maintenance of data onto the relevant HR Systems/ spreadsheets, by employing robust quality assurance and due diligence measures.
• Be the subject matter expert for Access Recruit & Onboarding and Better Impact for the team, the candidates/onboardees and the wider organisation
• Monitor and maintain ongoing compliance requirements across staff files, including (but not limited to): Right to Work documentation (i.e. valid Visas and passports); Professional Registrations; Dr’s professional insurance, etc.
• Ensure that all aspects of DBS process are managed in accordance with policy/procedures
• Assist the Recruitment & Compliance Manager in preparing, analysing and producing relevant reports and statistics.
• Conduct audit checks on new starters, volunteer and temporary worker files and report back to team to ensure continuous improvement and accuracy of data collected.
• Coordinate and/or supervise a regular and continuous calendar of personnel file reviews and audits, to ensure and maintain regulatory compliance, and where relevant escalate non- compliance issues to the Compliance Partner and/or the Recruitment & Compliance Manager.
• Assist in the coordination and delivery of an annual audit of CQC and Ofsted standards, across relevant business areas, e.g. The Children’s Trust School.
• Proactively maintain an up-to-date knowledge of our associated regulatory requirements, highlighting any updates and subsequent implications as soon as reasonably practical.
• Impart expertise and knowledge by delivering training sessions for new starters on compliance processes.
• In collaboration with the Organisation Development Team ensure the delivery of a seamless and engaging On-boarding and Induction experience for new staff and volunteers.

Recruitment & Selection

• Be responsible for the recruitment, on-boarding and compliance process for all types of permanent employees, Bank employees, temporary workers and volunteers. 
• Maintain the administration of recruitment and onboarding records, ensuring that these are complete and accurate
• Ensure all recruitment activities and the candidate life-cycle are underpinned by our Promises, whilst adhering to current employment legislation including Disclosure & Barring Service, Care Quality Commission, Ofsted, KCSIE and all policies and procedures

The Role

The Programmes Manager (Education) leads DTL’s schools work, owning the relationships, logistics, and outcomes that sit at the heart of our education offer. This is a delivery role with real breadth: you will manage a national programme of training events, lead on school recruitment and retention, and ensure the programme generates the evidence base that sustains its long-term funding.

You will be the main point of contact for subscribing schools, working closely with the CEO and Head of Partnerships. You will represent DTL’s schools work to funders and external partners, and contribute to the strategic development of the programme over time.

While the Digital Ambassador Programme is currently grant funded for three years, DTL’s intention is for the programme to become financially self-sustaining through school subscriptions, and this role is central to achieving that. As the programme grows, so will the scope of this post and the team to support it.

This is an office based role (flexible working considered) from our Brighton office which will involve some travel.

The Digital Ambassador Programme

The Digital Ambassador Programme is DTL’s flagship schools initiative. It trains staff and student Digital Ambassadors in schools across the UK, equipping them to lead on digital safety from within - and to escalate harmful content directly via DTL’s trusted flagger network.

This model creates both a faculty lead to manage complex reports from young people and also a student lead who will be able to provide peer-to-peer support to their fellow students, ensuring that students who may not wish to report directly to the faculty will still have a reporting mechanism.

Programme delivery

• Manage all delivery phases from set up through to annual review, in line with the agreed delivery plan.

About the role

The Principal & International Giving (PIG) team is responsible for securing principal and transformational gifts of £5m+, and high-level gifts of £50k+ from across the international philanthropy portfolio.

The Business Support Manager provides critical operational, programme and business support and management to enable the continued success and evolution of the Principal and International Giving programme.
