Job Purpose
This is a unique and exciting opportunity for an experienced fundraiser. This role won’t just be supporting fundraising internally but will be leading a fundraising change across the borough. As our Area Fundraising Manager, you will lead a new strategy to transform how our communities give, collaborate and create impact. You’ll organise large‑scale fundraising initiatives that bring the whole town together from landmark public events to innovative collective campaigns to smaller, targeted initiatives. As our role as an infrastructure charity, we have a vision to help generate more sustainable income for a wide range of VCSE organisations in Barnsley whilst bringing people together to proudly support the brilliant charities, social enterprises and groups who hold up our communities every day.
You’ll also work closely with our members across the sector to build confidence, skills and long‑term capability, delivering or facilitating high‑quality fundraising training, mentoring and resources. Your efforts will be particularly focused in the areas of regular giving, events, corporate income and fundraising strategies. Through your guidance, local organisations will build skills, ambition and long‑term resilience ensuring no organisation is left behind because of confidence, connections or know‑how.
You won’t just be supporting others but you will play a pivotal role to help Barnsley CVS grow stronger. One day per week will be spent supporting our own initiatives to generate sustainable income that helps Barnsley CVS expand its support offer, deepen its impact and champion the sector long into the future. This could be anything from supporting bid writing to exploring new income streams to innovative fundraising.

The Senior Evidence & Evaluation Manager will sit within the Impact & Evidence directorate at the heart of Youth Futures Foundation.
Working with three Heads of Evaluation, the Deputy Director and the Director, you will help ensure our evaluations are designed to generate credible evidence of what works.
You will:

lead the design, commissioning and management of impact evaluations, including RCTs and QEDs. This will include feasibility or developmental work where interventions are not yet ready for full impact evaluation.

In addition, you will lead other aspects of the team’s commissioning. This may include developing policies and processes, supporting the Heads of Evaluation to strengthen commissioning practice.
This role can be based at our Birmingham, Leeds or London hub. We currently operate a hybrid model of two-days per week in the office and three-days from home.

Overall job purpose
The Site Coordinator will be solely responsible for delivering events at this stunning Grade I listed church. From the initial enquiry through to final delivery, they will oversee the planning and coordination of third-party hires, ensuring every detail is handled with care and precision while providing seamless and functional hires of this wonderful historical building. Working alone, the Site Coordinator will ensure there is continued access to the building for community groups and hirers, whilst overseeing all aspects of the day to day administration of the venue; This includes site operations, record keeping, event management, hire marketing and site presentation.

Skills and Responsibilities
On-Boarding & Compliance
- Coordinate all aspects of the onboarding and compliance process and ensure that the processes are completed accurately, efficiently and in a timely manner, including: issuing contracts, pre-employment compliance checks, and keying new starters/setting up new starters on the onboarding system.
- Ensure the accurate entry and maintenance of data onto the relevant HR Systems/ spreadsheets, by employing robust quality assurance and due diligence measures.
- Be the subject matter expert for Access Recruit & Onboarding and Better Impact for the team, the candidates/onboardees and the wider organisation
- Monitor and maintain ongoing compliance requirements across staff files, including (but not limited to): Right to Work documentation (i.e. valid Visas and passports); Professional Registrations; Dr’s professional insurance, etc.
- Ensure that all aspects of DBS process are managed in accordance with policy/procedures
- Assist the Recruitment & Compliance Manager in preparing, analysing and producing relevant reports and statistics.

What We're Looking For
Essential:

About the Role
As Chief Executive, you will combine inspirational leadership with a strong, hands-on approach to fundraising and commercial direction. Acting as a visible ambassador for the Youth Zone, you will build trust with partners across the city, influence at a regional and national level, and lead with integrity, creativity and purpose to ensure lasting impact for young people and the communities we serve.
Alongside fundraising leadership, you will provide strategic direction, financial clarity and cultural leadership to a values-driven organisation focused relentlessly on young people. About You

You will have experience of:
- Successful senior leadership experience within a charity or similar complex organisation.
- Experience of hands-on fundraising, such as securing and stewarding major donors (£25k+), corporates, trusts and statutory funding.
- Developing and delivering organisational strategies and business plans.
- Leading financially sustainable organisations with strong governance and controls.
- Developing and overseeing high-quality youth-focused services or programmes.

Overall purpose of the role

Skills and experience required
- Vocational qualifications in Facilities Management or Health and Safety (minimum IOSHH or NEBOSH General Certificate, IWFM Diploma, or equivalent).
- A minimum of three years experience in facilities, building services, and health & safety management.
- Proven experience managing multidisciplinary teams, ideally within a healthcare setting.
- Previous responsibility for fire safety, risk assessments, policies, and audits within a healthcare environment (preferred),
- Comprehensive understanding of health and safety standards, infection control protocols, facilities contracts and budget management. Must stay up to date with current legislation.
- Proficiency in MS Office 365.
- Strong analytical skills for managing records, compliance reports, and resource allocation.
- Knowledge of Healthcare National Cleaning Standards.
- Waste Management qualifications.
- Familiarity with CQC standards for Estates and Facilities Services.
- Understanding of NHS Litigation Authority Standards for Facilities Infrastructure Services.

About you
