Manage and support a caseload of volunteers to empower vulnerable families in giving their children the best start in life, occasionally providing direct support.  Contribute to volunteer recruitment, training, development, and the effective day-to-day operation of the organisation

Key Responsibilities. As a HSH Co-ordinator you will:

• Carry out initial home-visits and support families to set and monitor goals
• Match volunteers with families according to need and capacity
• Assess the suitability and complexity of referrals, liaise with referrers for additional information, and support onward referrals
• Supervise an appropriate caseload of volunteers and enable them to support families
• Monitor safeguarding concerns and liaise with the Operations Manager/Director as needed
• Contribute to the delivery of the Volunteer Preparation Courses
• Contribute to recruiting, selecting and preparing suitable volunteers
• Support the evaluation of the impact of HSH’s volunteering programme and family support
• Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with key health partners, including those from Parent Infant Mental Health Teams, Midwifery, IAPT, Perinatal Teams, Health Visiting and other groups

Fundraising and Impact Lead

Salary: £31,625 - £34,106 pro-rata (depending on experience and FTE)

About the Role

The Fundraising and Impact Lead will play a key role in growing our fundraising efforts and ensuring robust impact reporting. As we move into the next phase of our 5 Year Strategy, this is an exciting time to work across two strategic priority areas and contribute to our partnership’s success. 

As an organisation we are focused on developing our fundraising programme, and you will take an active part in identifying and researching potential donors, developing solicitation plans, and supporting the preparation of bids, reports, and core fundraising materials. 

As the organisation transitions to a new Salesforce environment, this role will support the continued maintenance of our existing system and its users. This role will be instrumental in ensuring operational continuity by managing data effectively and supporting the users of the system, including generating insightful reports, and maintaining system performance during the interim period with the support of an external partner.

This role is suitable for somebody who combines analytical problem solving skills with excellent relationship management, and approaches both with meticulous attention to detail. We are looking for someone who is proactive in refining systems and dashboards, and can work confidently with internal and external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Innovation and Fundraising Manager, the Fundraising and Impact Lead will have the following key areas of responsibility and will be expected to undertake other responsibilities commensurate with the role as requested:

Securing funding support

• Take an active role in pipeline research and identifying donors to pursue.

• Develop prospect solicitation plans, working with senior team members to implement them.

• Support the development of written bids and reports.

• Develop core assets to support our fundraising efforts.

Donor management

• Maintain accurate donor records, ensure prompt acknowledgement of donations and all reporting requirements are met.

• Ensure that funders are receiving all necessary comms, including updates, new CP reports, and invitations to events, collaborating with the Marketing and Communications Lead.

Fundraising tracking and impact reporting

• Support the development of fundraising systems to track income and key relationships, maintaining and developing dashboards and reports, and supporting the team to make best use of data.

• Work across the team to gather impact data as required for bids and reporting, devising systems to streamline this.

Data management

• Complete regular imports to keep our data up to date.

• Ensure data integrity through data cleansing, deduplication, and validation tasks.

• Monitor system usage and user activities to ensure compliance with data policies.

• Support with data analysis requests to demonstrate our impact as an organisation, utilising Excel / Google Sheets.

CRM maintenance

• Coordinate with external developers to resolve any issues reported by users, and ensure the smooth running of our integrated systems (e.g. FormAssembly, Zapier).

• Support end-user training and onboarding to promote best practices.

• Create and maintain reports and dashboards, assisting the team where necessary.

This home-based role is to support Blesma members in the South West of England by providing a lifeline to members by delivering effective wellbeing support and advice to help reduce the negative impacts of disability and to assist them in leading independent and fulfilling lives. The role also involves representing Blesma and enhancing the charity’s profile within the local community of your area of responsibility. 

The Independence and Wellbeing team works collaboratively across the Association to ensure Blesma’s programmes and services can help our service personnel, veterans and their families.

We have an exciting opportunities for a Qualified and/ or Trainee Multidisciplinary Advocates to join our established and friendly Advocacy Team. 

We work for Rethink Advocacy, which is part of Rethink Mental Illness a national charity that has been transforming the lives of people severely affected by mental illness for over 50 years.

As an unqualified, inexperienced independent multi-disciplinary advocate, you will be required to enrol on the Level 4 Independent Advocacy Practice qualification and complete the course within a set timescale, using protected study time to focus on this. You will shadow experienced team members and then be observed providing advocacy to those who are eligible for our services until you are able to pick up a caseload of your own. You will receive training in the different remits of advocacy, instructed and non-instructed advocacy and safeguarding and be supported to develop a thorough understanding of the role and boundaries of advocacy. The role involves acting on the instruction of the people you support, empowering them to have a say in their situation, to understand their rights and any options open to them and supporting them towards self-advocacy. When providing non-instructed advocacy, you will ensure that the unique preferences and views of the person are taken into consideration in any decisions made by care providers.

As a qualified and / or experienced independent advocate, you will provide statutory and / or non-statutory independent advocacy to those who are eligible for the service within the community or care settings. This may include secure facilities, hospitals, care homes, supported living facilities and people within their own homes or temporary accommodation.

Advocacy is having someone by your side, and on your side, when you want to be more involved in decisions about your care, treatment and living arrangements. An advocate can talk through the situation you’re currently in and the options open to you. They can help you decide what you want and then communicate it to people. This is particularly useful if it’s difficult to understand things or to speak up and be heard.

Our Wandsworth and Richmond service provides a range of specialist advocacy services to Adults (and children) as appropriate across a range of disciplines.  We provide a range of statutory (instructed or non-instructed) and non-statutory advocacy support in secure units, hospitals, care settings or in the community, working with a range of health and social care partners.

Location:  Hybrid working - Part London office-based and part home working. The post holder will work a minimum of one day a week in the office. 

Salary: £31,800 per annum

You’ll work across a range of channels and projects, supporting the national brand, marketing, content and digital team to bring our mission to life.

Experience required 

You’ll have previous experience of: 

• Supporting the planning and delivery of integrated marketing campaigns to grow awareness and engagement. 

• Helping to ensure brand consistency across all communications and materials. 

• Creating content for digital and print channels, including social media, email, reports and website. 

• Developing and delivering paid for social media campaigns. 

• Supporting celebrity engagement. 

• Monitoring campaign performance and contributing to reporting and insights.
