The Hepatitis C Trust (HCT) is the UK patient-led charity for hepatitis C. The arrival of highly effective drugs allows us to cure almost everyone who has access to them. We now have an unprecedented opportunity to eliminate hepatitis C by 2030.

We are looking for a passionate and skilled manager who has excellent communication and organisational skills. Working under the guidance of the Southern Regional Manager, you will oversee a staff team and an expanding network of peer programs across Surrey.

Experience of working with disadvantaged groups and an understanding of providing services to vulnerable people is essential, alongside an understanding of how lived experience can support this work.

Your work will involve maintaining and monitoring our existing HCT peer projects across Surrey. This will involve providing support and supervision to existing staff, managing operational issues on a day-to-day basis and overseeing the management of local projects. 

This post also involves regular liaison with external partners across the region, including key stakeholders and NHS colleagues at the Surrey Operational Delivery Network (ODN), alongside drug and alcohol services, hostels, outreach services etc.

About This Job

This is an exciting training role in Army Cadet Headquarters responsible for the governance of risk in the Army Cadets.

In this critical organisational safety role, you will both generate medical risk assessments and assure those generated by others. You will ensure appropriate medical governance and compliance processes are in place, including identifying organisational clinical risks and recommending appropriate policies. You will oversee incident reporting and trend analysis to support continuous improvement. This will include developing systems and reporting frameworks to provide a clear understanding of the organisation’s medical risk profile and supporting the volunteer team delivering advanced skills training to highly qualified first aiders.

Essential Skills

· Have a sound understanding of the role of medical support in the Army Cadets

· Hold an accredited assessing qualification

· Evidence of continuing personal and professional development

· Understand the legislative requirements for First Aid provision as set out by the HSE

· Understand legislative restrictions on medical scopes of practice.

We’re looking for an IT Projects Manager to join a small, busy IT team at the UK’s leading specialist centre for complex neuro-disability. The work matters. The projects you deliver help our clinical, operational and corporate teams give better care to the people who depend on us.

You’ll own a varied portfolio of IT projects from start to finish: planning, budgets, suppliers, risk, governance and delivery. We want a project manager who can work both in the detail of a project plan one day, and shaping the bigger picture with senior leadership the next. This is a central role in a small technology team, so your judgement and the relationships you build will really count.

What you’ll bring

• A track record of delivering IT projects to time, cost and quality in a complex organisation
• Strong people skills, so you can talk to clinicians, senior leaders and suppliers and be understood by all of them
• A practical, problem-solving approach to risk, change and competing priorities
• A good understanding of IT infrastructure, software delivery and system implementations

Job Purpose

We are seeking an experienced mental health manager to join our exciting new project, working with those engaging in gambling harms behaviours and affected others. The role will include overseeing various workstreams to the service, including: crisis de-escalation, casework, psychoeducation workshops and facilitating a space for peer-led activities. You will have a small team of support workers and volunteers to manage.

Your role as a team manager will be to directly support a team of support workers and volunteers in all areas of the service. You will aid in de-escalating those in a state of crisis which is exacerbated or influenced by gambling related behaviours. You will be expected to manage crises and your team, within a drop-in model. You will be expected to hold your own caseload of clients, providing 1:1 bespoke advice surrounding gambling and mental health support. In addition, you will aid in overseeing peer-led psychoeducation groups addressing root causes of gambling and a safe environment for loved ones to build meaningful peer connections. We are seeking autonomous, creative individuals with experiences of working with behaviours around addiction and direct management responsibilities.
 

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and empower a team of varied personalities and skills
• Work closely with senior managers, stakeholders including commissioners
• De-escalate immediate mental health crises
• Co-produce and facilitate various psychoeducation workshops
• Hold your own caseload of clients; providing advice and support on various matters eg financial management, debt, housing and other social issues pertaining to gambling behaviours
• Work autonomously and proactively
• Co-produce and hold a safe environment for peer-led activities
• Engage in extensive outreach across the borough of Hounslow
• Work within an integrative model with existing clinical pathways: collaborative working with NHS and Public Health colleagues

We are entering a period of organisational growth and staff restructure, and the Head of Operations will be a new post at REF. The postholder will be ready to get stuck in, helping us to identify and address operational challenges before they become problems and reduce unnecessary demands on managers and senior leaders. We are looking for an effective communicator to ensure that people, systems, and resources support the Foundation's mission and enable staff to do their best work. We are not looking for someone who believes every challenge requires a new process. We are looking for someone who can exercise sound judgement, introduce structure where it adds value and help create the conditions in which staff and managers can focus on delivering impact.

Person Specification 

Essential 

• Several years' experience in a senior operational, organisational development or business management role in a charity or voluntary sector organisation. 

• Proven track record of driving operational improvements, such as overseeing or changing workflow systems, maintaining good governance and compliance policies, or implementing strong CRM systems. 

• Proven track record of managing HR procedures, demonstrating strong interpersonal and communication skills, and effective people management including maintaining working relationships with colleagues at all levels.

Pay and Conditions of Service

This post is permanent and full-time.

The annual full-time salary for this role is between £47,911 and £53,890, inclusive of London Weighting. 

There is a probationary period of six months for this post. 

Full-time staff are entitled to 25 days holiday leave per annum with additional days for long service. The timing of holidays must fit in with the needs of the Foundation and must be agreed in advance. In addition to annual holidays there is paid time off for national holidays. 

The post will be based in the London office at Unit 17 Deane House Studios, 27 Greenwood Place, London NW5 1LB. Staff currently work two to three days a week in the office. 

The normal working week is 35 hours for full-time posts, seven hours per day, Monday to Friday. Standard office hours are 9.00 a.m.-5.00 p.m.

Rethink Mental Illness work alongside Tees, Esk and Wear Valley NHS Foundation Trust (TEWV) and Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust to deliver an integrated stepped care mental health service within HMP Full Sutton.

The team compromises a range of highly skilled professionals who work collaboratively to provide the highest quality of care, for those with mental health needs within the prison and for Rethink Mental Illness employees, this is carried out between 0800 – 1600 Monday to Friday. 

As we work across both sites, there may be some travel involved, but this will be done in work time and expenses paid to support service delivery.

What I will do and achieve:

In this role, you will make a real difference by supporting individuals with mental health needs within a prison setting. Your work will focus on empowering recovery, delivering evidence-based interventions, and ensuring high standards of care.

What you’ll be doing:

• Manage referrals – Assess suitability of new referrals, following agreed protocols, and ensure clients receive the right level of care, including stepping up treatment when needed.

The Suzy Lamplugh Trust was established in memory of Suzy Lamplugh, a young estate agent who tragically disappeared while at work in 1986 and was later declared deceased in 1993. Created to honour Suzy’s legacy, the Trust aims to empower individuals and organisations to take a stand against abuse, aggression, and violence in all forms, supporting safety in both personal and professional lives.

Role Overview: 

This is a blended role combining responsibilities across the National Stalking Helpline (0.6 FTE) and the National Advocacy Service (0.4 FTE).
The postholder will deliver high-quality, trauma-informed support across the full victim journey from first contact and immediate risk assessment through to ongoing advocacy and multi-agency casework.
The role ensures a seamless service for victims, supporting individuals at all risk levels through:

• Immediate advice, triage, and safety planning via the helpline
• Ongoing advocacy, case management, and support navigating the criminal justice system

This model strengthens continuity of care and ensures consistent, victim-centred support across services.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: National Advocate (.4) National Helpline (.6) 

• Provide advice, guidance, emotional support, safety planning, and risk assessment to individuals contacting the National Stalking Helpline. 

• Answer incoming calls to the helpline and manage contacts in line with service standards. 

• Helpline duties day/week/FTE with flexibility to meet demand/need 

• Provide tailored advocacy support, advice, and guidance to victims living including emotional support, risk assessment, and safety planning. 

• Using the SASH, conduct follow on risk assessments to inform ongoing safety planning 

• Develop and maintain individualised advocacy plans for each client. 

• Support clients to navigate the Criminal Justice System (CJS), civil and family courts. 

• Liaise with other professionals and agencies, such as housing, health, social care, and law enforcement, to ensure coordinated support. 

• Proactively research and build strong working relationships with support services and share best practice 

• Advise and advocate on behalf of victims when their rights under the Victims’ Code are not being met. 

• Undertake ISA accreditation (training provided if not already achieved). 

• Apply cyberstalking knowledge and seek cyber technical support on complex cases. 

• Manage a caseload of up to advocacy 12 clients 

• Ensure prompt case closure when advocacy needs end, victims withdraw consent, or contact attempts fail. 

• Monitor and respond to the helpline email Live chat, inbox and voicemail messages in a timely and professional manner. 

• Respond to contacts from victims, friends, family members, and professionals seeking support or information. 

• Make safeguarding referrals and maintain compliance with safeguarding policies.

What You’ll Be Doing 

• Take the lead in managing and delivering NCN infrastructure projects. This includes planning, design, construction, and reviewing how well the project was delivered once completed. 

• Build and maintain positive working relationships with external partners and local authorities. Work together with them to develop active travel infrastructure projects collaboratively. 

• Plan, organise, and take part in community engagement activities. This helps make sure projects are developed in a collaborative and inclusive way. 

• Review and analyse information from policies, audits, surveys, and site visits. Use this information to create technical reports, feasibility studies, and progress updates.
