About the Role:
As a Deputy Head of Service for Performance & Quality you will:
- proactively analyse data from diverse sources, transforming it into powerful & useful insights for our service
- produce management information, impact analysis, service modelling & customer-focused performance tools
- monitor service performance & identify risks to support & enable data-driven decision-making & continuous improvement
- be a key member of a multi-disciplinary network of experts within Victim Support's London Management Team
- work in partnership with key stakeholders across London's criminal justice system such as the Mayor's Office for Policing and Crime (MOPAC), London's Police forces & the Ministry of Justice (MoJ)
Regular tasks will include:
- Producing monthly & quarterly reports for funders to evidence KPIs; identify trends, risks & service improvements

- Meeting with front-line teams to explore service delivery & performance data
- Delivering insights & actions to stakeholders regarding service effectiveness

You will need:
- experience using either Python or R to bring data together from diverse sources and prepare for analysis using cleaning and preparation techniques
- extensive practical experience of using innovative platforms for data visualization including R Shiny, Power BI and/or Tableau
- A degree or equivalent professional experience in subjects such as Statistics, Data/ Computer Science, Economics, Public Policy, or the Sciences would be desirable

We have a new and exciting opportunity within Victim Support to provide Domestic Abuse case management interventions across Cumbria, as part of the Drive Project we are recruiting 2 x Perpetrator Case Workers (known internally as Case Managers) to cover Westmorland & Furness area.
Drive is an innovative national project that aims to improve the lives and safety of victims and children, by holding high-risk perpetrators to account. The project combines case management of perpetrators with a co-ordinated multi-agency response.
The Drive Partnership, formed by Respect, SafeLives and Social Finance, is working to transform the national response to perpetrators of domestic abuse. They work to end domestic abuse and protect victims by disrupting, challenging, and changing the behaviour of those who are causing harm. Together they have developed the Drive Project to address a gap in work with high-harm, high-risk perpetrators of domestic abuse. They also work to advocate for systems and policy change- to develop sustainable, national systems that respond more effectively to all perpetrators of domestic abuse.

About the role:
These roles are based at Kendal Police Station, West Morland & Furness, Cumbria, and involve regular travel. Due to the location, a driving license and access to a vehicle is considered an essential requirement. As a Case Manager, you will strive to make contact and work on a one-to-one basis with perpetrators to pro-actively secure engagement, influence attitudinal and behavioural change and link to complementary services. You will work closely with the IDVA's (integrated partner support) to review risk, develop safety plans, and improve outcomes for all parties involved. You will support individuals to make meaningful changes and contribute to improved quality of life and safer outcomes-helping offenders move away from the criminal justice system.
You will be passionate and committed to working within a multi-disciplinary team and will have a demonstrable track record of working with complex need service users. This may be within the field of domestic abuse, and/or mental health, substance misuse and offending.
We are seeking experienced professionals from domestic abuse, offender rehabilitation, or mental health backgrounds who bring strong case management expertise and a passion for behaviour change. This role involves delivering one-to-one psychosocial interventions with high-risk perpetrators of domestic abuse, aiming to reduce long-term risk to current and future victims/survivors, and children.
These posts will be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure.

The role

As HR Officer, you will provide practical, people-focused support from recruitment and onboarding through to contract changes, benefits administration, and leaver processes. You will act as the first point of contact for HR queries, helping colleagues and managers to apply policies effectively, use systems confidently, and follow processes that are consistent and people-centred.You will also play a key role in maintaining accurate information across systems such as Employment Hero, SharePoint HR Intranet and Monday, ensuring data is compliant and well managed. Our unique Online Reading Volunteer programme currently supports around 3,600 children a year. Job Purpose
To support the manager and deliver on the home and settle services across two hospitals, supporting the wider team, and provide leadership when necessary. You will work in collaboration with AUKEL, the hospitals, and other community health and social care colleagues.
The service supports people returning home after a stay in hospital, helping them to settle back at home, regain confidence and support with some practical tasks, e.g. shopping/cleaning. You will manage referrals, carry out assessments, and with the Manager, allocate service users to Discharge and Settle Worker caseloads. You will provide direct frontline support and co-ordinate visits to the service users’ home in preparation for their return home, as necessary. You will work collaboratively to lead and manage your team to support the smooth transition from hospital to home for service users. The service is time limited, usually up to 6 weeks, to adjust and settle back in their homes.
Key Tasks

Act as the first point of contact for all referrals across the hospital they are attached to.

Meet with patients in the community and/or hospital and carrying out assessments and risk assessments

Enter referrals on to AUKEL’s case management system (currently Charity Log) in accordance with GDPR guidelines.

Allocate referrals to Discharge and Settle workers using tech available (currently the Call Round App), training will be available.

Prepare and keep stock of AUKEL Welcome Packs and service leaflets.
