Job description

Head of Fundraising and Communications (Maternity cover, fixed term contract)

At least 25-37 hours per week

Salary £45,000 - £55,000 pa, pro rata if part time

The Rose Road Association is a Registered Charity in Southampton providing essential care and support services for children and young people with complex physical and learning disabilities, and their families. We are looking for someone to cover maternity leave for our Head of Fundraising and Communications. The post holder will lead the strategic direction for our fundraised income and deliver this alongside our ambitious Communications Strategy. We are recruiting for a 13 month contract beginning in mid September 2025.

We are looking for an excellent relationship builder, who can inspire and motivate our fundraising team and guide our senior leadership team and trustees in navigating a changing fundraising landscape. You will have in depth knowledge of a range of fundraising income sources and already be an established team leader with excellent fundraising sector insight. We need someone who can support and guide our team through this period.
