The Network Development Manager (Clubs & Compliance) shall lead on the support and management of this dynamic and evolving membership base through the enhancement of the Special Olympics GB delivery model to achieve our purpose of unlocking more opportunities for people with intellectual disabilities. This person will report directly to the Head of Network and work closely alongside other members of the team and key stakeholders, with a specific focus on our Accredited Club and Programme compliance and development and overarching responsibility of maintaining our membership delivery model mechanics and key processes. As a member of the Organisational Growth team, this role will play a vital part in supporting the future shaping of capability and capacity building, driving the strategic plan in accordance with our mission. About the Role

Through our range of programmes, we work to inspire and empower young people, whatever their background to succeed in work and life. A unique opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to manage the delivery of our EDI programmes and have a real impact on the participation of underrepresented groups in our programmes, as well as building on our established position within the skills sector.

The ideal candidate will have experience in developing, managing and evaluating senior stakeholder relationships with external networks. With a proven track record of consistently delivering projects and programmes with high-quality results, the successful candidate will have up to date ED&I knowledge and demonstrable experience of raising the profile of an organisation within this setting.  The candidate will be experienced in development of programmes and partnerships to suit delivery of strategic objectives, and be able to project manage internal colleagues to deliver against set KPIs.

The successful candidate will have a passion for working within a charity that focuses on developing young people from all backgrounds, and will have the experience, knowledge and understanding to drive forward EDI in external facing programmes.

Role purpose

The purpose of this role is to lead, develop and deliver WorldSkills UK’s external Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (ED&I) programmes supported by stakeholder engagement strategies across our network of industry, education and government. The role will ensure that we engage external stakeholders to help deliver our ambition to be a leader, partner and ally in creating positive change for ED&I in the skills sector.

Key tasks and responsibilities

1. Deliver positive action activity for change:

• Support the development and delivery of WorldSkills UK’s external ED&I strategy. Ensure it is fit for purpose, has recognised long term goals and will deliver measurable change, reflecting organisational priorities around increased engagement with ethnic minority groups and females. Provide an overarching framework and help further develop strategic KPIs for our ED&I work, ensuring effective use of data, monitoring progress and performance.
• Work with the Senior Strategic Partnerships Manager to develop action plans that will drive our continuous improvement:
  • Support our skills competition development programmes to increase the diversity of young people engaged
  • Support the development of role models to showcase the impact of our work and encourage diversity in key areas of industry, including future priority skill areas
  • Support the development of learning resources that aid engagement with underrepresented groups
  • Support teams to ensure ED&I matters are considered and addressed as key components of all strategies, plans and programmes.

2. Manage the ED&I Advisory Group:

• This is a unique opportunity to work with experienced and prominent senior individuals from across education and industry who are invested in driving the agenda for ED&I.
• Lead the administration and ongoing development of our Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Advisory Group.
• Engage the Group to help support, advise and challenge WorldSkills UK on its actions to remove obstacles and barriers faced by young people from under-represented backgrounds in our programmes.
• Report regularly to the Group on progress against KPI’s and facilitate reports for the WorldSkills UK Board.

3. Project Manage the ED&I Heroes Awards

• The Awards is an established flagship event which provides a platform for WorldSkills UK to celebrate success with its partners, amplify best practice and inspire others to drive change across the skills systems in education and business.
• Project manage delivery of the annual Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Heroes Awards, supported by relevant internal teams
  • Establish the nominations process
  • Co-ordinate the judging panel
  • Organise the awards ceremony
  • Manage the support of the awards partners.

4. Manage strategic relationships

• Manage a portfolio of ED&I focused Strategic Partnerships with organisations from across the skills sector, facilitating their support and engagement with our EDI programmes.
• Grow our network of partners to widen our reach, help further drive work in this area and collectively impact on the sector.
• Advise and support the development of the CEO’s international activities on ED&I with WorldSkills International (WSI).

5. Raise the profile of WorldSkills UK’s ED&I work:

• Work with teams across the organisation to support our Mission to ignite a national and global movement to help more young people, regardless of their background, get the best possible start in work and life.
• Support the Senior Strategic Partnerships Manager and Marketing and Communications Team to showcase the impact of our programmes:
  • Help to externally profile and articulate the value and impact of our activities using the channels and tools available
  • Seek opportunities to advocate for our work through stakeholder engagement and networking
  • Support the Corporate Partnerships team to identify and secure commercial income related to our ED&I initiatives.
  • Work across the organisation to build on existing external relationships and develop new strategic partnerships that reinforce our position as a skills sector leader.

6. Internal ED&I Liaison:

• Whilst not responsible for WorldSkills UK’s internal ED&I activities and agenda it is anticipated that the post holder will spend up to 10% of their time supporting and working with the Corporate Affairs team on internal ED&I matters, with the remaining 90% spent on external work.
• It is not essential that the postholder has extensive experience in this area.

7. General

• Produce requirement specifications in line with WorldSkills UK’s procurement strategies for all outsourced activity.

This role is office based (as above) but with flexible hybrid working. It is expected the postholder will attend the office at least once or twice a week.

The Learning Networks Portfolio Manager will:

• Report to the Managing Director

The Role In Brief

This position plays a central role in the delivery of Koreo’s work; responsible for a portfolio of the company’s biggest and most established programmes. It will be a varied role and will require someone to lead project teams in the design and delivery of high quality national learning programmes, while also playing a key role in the development of Koreo as an organisation
better able to build a just and regenerative future.

1. Responsible for the successful delivery and development of a portfolio of national learning programmes and projects. This portfolio of work is primarily focused on cross-sector learning programmes that bring cohorts of people together around learning missions. Examples include Civic Futures and the London Engagement Collaborative
with the GLA.
2. Responsible for sustaining and growing the portfolio, and with it Koreo’s profile, network, and income. This might be focused on developing the existing programmes in the portfolio, or could include wider writing, public speaking, pitching and networking
which support the distribution of the work.
3. An internal leadership role in developing a just and inclusive culture in which a diverse team can do its best work. This includes line management of one Project Coordinator, development of organisational practice and process, and work with the team on culture and development.

Age UK has an exciting opportunity for a Network Learning and Development Manager to join our Learning & Development and Culture Team! This role will report into the Head of Organisation, Culture and People Development, with direct links to our Network Support division.

In this role, we're looking for someone who is skilled at working with a diversity of stakeholders to identify their training and development needs and capable of using this insight to oversee the development, design, management and delivery of learning content on digital platforms..
You'll also be great at building relationships, which is key to this role!

As Network Learning and Development Manager, you will lead on the delivery of Learning and Development for our network of local Age UKs and national partners so that they can deliver high quality services to older people in their localities. Experience of designing high-quality, engaging, interactive and learner-centred online learning content is an essential requirement for this post.

We're looking for someone who can manage a variety of L&D projects and their delivery against set timelines, planning how the training will be delivered creatively, whilst engaging with stakeholders and supporting the 130+ local Age UKs and local Age Cymru partners in England and Wales, as well as Age UK nationally and our national partners in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

A strong team-player by nature, you'll work with other colleagues across the Network Support Division and the wider Age UK Group to communicate the vision for Network learning, with the goal to deliver strategic departmental objectives.

London's Air Ambulance treats patients who experience critical injury in the capital and support them and their families on a road to recovery. This is only possible through close collaboration between  London's Air Ambulance Charity, the London Ambulance Service (LAS), Barts Health NHS Trust (Barts), London's Major Trauma Centres and the wider Major Trauma Networks, to deliver groundbreaking care and save lives.

To deliver this service the Charity is split across two locations, with offices in Mansell St and in the Royal London Hospital. 
The Charity has grown significantly in size and complexity over the last few years and we are now seeking a Finance Business Partner to support the Deputy Director of Finance to provide the charity's Financial Performance and Analysis function.

Reporting to the Deputy Director of Finance this post supports the provision of high quality financial reporting to assist budget holders, managers, directors and trustees. Acting as a finance business partner you will provide financial insights, analysis, and guidance to support decision-making and drive the financial performance of the charity.

Key areas of responsibilities;

• Stakeholder collaboration: Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including finance and non-finance colleagues, to support strategic planning and decision-making.
• Financial reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for the charity, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with regulatory requirements. Own the full life cycle of reports from build to delivery.
• Budgeting and forecasting: Assist the Head of Financial Performance & Analysis in the development of annual budgets and forecasts, collaborating with department heads to gather necessary information and oversee the consolidation and review of departmental budgets into a cohesive organisational budget.
• Financial analysis: Monitor actual performance against projections and conduct analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities.

The Senior Officer – Network, Partnerships and Programmes plays a critical role as the initial contact point for CSC’s global network of 200+ NGOs and delivery lead for our practice-based partnership programmes and Street Work training, working closely with a small but dynamic team in pursuit of CSC’s vision and goals.

The postholder will contribute towards CSC’s strategic goal to transform street-connected children's experience of the street, now, so that they are safer, with better access to services and a sense of belonging in their communities, by:

• Working with network partners to develop, evidence and model innovative & integrated rights-based approaches to supporting street-connected children and securing their rights
• Promoting and supporting skilled street work as the first, critical step in a rights-based approach to supporting street-connected children

Specific Tasks and Responsibilities

1. Programme delivery

• As the delivery lead for CSC’s practice-related partnership programmes, (including our Inclusive Education Programme), work closely with partners, working group members and other stakeholders to develop and deliver high quality programming which maximises learning and dissemination opportunities, engaging external stakeholders and learning partners where appropriate
• Manage and cultivate relationships with current programme funders, ensuring that high quality reports are submitted to deadlines

2. Programme development

· Establish effective relationships with business leads to enable you to provide valued interventions and insights on people management strategies.

· Advise directorate managers on managing people effectively including treating people fairly and professionally to ensure employee engagement and the delivery of Foundation objectives.

· Work with directorate leads to identify skills and capabilities they need to deliver current and future work, liaising with the Talent Management Hub (Learning & Development and Talent Acquisition) to manage the resourcing and talent processes.

· Partner with business area leads to develop learning and development plans for your designated directorate, and liaise with the Learning & Development Manager to identify gaps in levels of capability.

· Work with the Head of Learning & Development to introduce talent mapping initiatives and ensure that leaders and managers within designated directorates are equipped with the skills and confidence to manage effectively.

· In liaison with the People Advisor, provide regular key people metrics with analysis, narrative and ideas to encourage your designated business leads/managers to seek continuous improvements and regular review of individual and team delivery.

· Work with, and bring in, specialists across the People & Culture directorate (e.g., Learning & Development, Talent Acquisition, DEI) to respond to planned and emerging people and business objectives.

Advise, manage, and support

· Develop and maintain all Foundation policies, procedures, processes and forms required to deliver a People service capable of ensuring that the Foundation discharges its duties efficiently and effectively.

· Ensure legal compliance of all People processes and procedures, enabling best practice to be attained in providing guidance to managers and employees, and safeguarding the Foundation’s reputation in the execution of its duties.

· Ensure up to date knowledge of all employment policies and procedures and provide advice and input as required.

· Act as a point of contact for employees to discuss confidential matters or grievances.

· Partner with line managers to provide advice on employee issues, coach managers on how to manage people and resolve employee issues including via the grievance and disciplinary processes.

· Stay current on industry trends, employment law and best practice to provide guidance to managers and staff on all People, legal and compliance issues.

· Foster a positive working environment for all people working at the Foundation.

· Process monthly payroll promptly and accurately with supervision from the Senior People Business Partner.

· Contribute to the Foundation’s strategic approach to diversity equity and inclusion (DEI) and work to actively embed practices which promote DEI across the Foundation’s approach to its workforce and people processes.

· Act as a diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) champion, representing the directorate and liaising with employee networks on People related issues, policies and procedures.

Performance management

· Partner with directorate leads to drive appropriate and timely performance management and improve performance delivery.

· Manage individual review cycles for your designated directorate, sending reminders to managers when reviews are due and signposting staff and Line Managers to further support and guidance.

· Coach managers on the use of PDPs.

· Promote mandatory eLearning and ensure it is undertaken within prescribed timescales.

· Working with the People Advisor and business leads provide oversight of the 360 feedback surveys for end of year reviews for your directorate.

Employee Engagement and Organisational Development

· Take on/lead any other projects as requested by the Head of People & Culture or Chief People Officer

· Nurture a positive working environment by embedding the company culture and values in the implementation of all people related initiatives.

· Provide mentorship to junior colleagues in the People & Culture directorate and play a key role in their development.

Knowledge, experience, and qualifications:

• CIPD qualified or equivalent.

• Sound knowledge of employment legislation and its application.

• Strong understanding of diversity, equity and inclusion concepts and the impact the People. function can have in embedding an inclusive and equitable culture.

• HR Generalist experience across a broad range of HR functions and employee lifecycle, and best practice for those.

• Managing employee relations and related processes.

• The ability to analyse and report on HR information and data.

• Experience of working in a fast-paced environment and manging multiple concurrent workstreams.

• Implementing and supporting change management with experience of TUPE/mergers.
