Job description

We're looking for a compassionate and resilient Night Support Worker to join our Learning Disabilities Service located in Tower Hamlets. No personal care or experience required, just the right values.

  • Deliver person-centred care based on individual PBS plans developed in collaboration with Look Ahead's PBS service and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Support our customers to achieve their personal goals, participate in meaningful activities, and engage in their community.
  • Support our customers with personal care, medication and all daily living skills as needed, whilst promoting independence.

About you:

  • Warm, friendly, and approachable.
  • Team-oriented and socially engaged.
  • Calm and resilient.

What you'll bring:

Essential:

  • Experience supporting people with learning disabilities/autism/complex behaviours.
  • Understanding of PBS or willingness to undertake PBS training.
  • Empathy, patience, and strong communication skills.

Desirable:

  • NVQ/QCF Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care.
  • Prior training in PBS, Maybo, Capable Environments, Active Engagement & Support and/or Reducing Restrictive Practices.
  • Full UK driving licence.
