The role
The CF Therapist will report to the Senior CTS Therapist (CF & NM & Finchley).
The purpose of the role is to provide adaptive therapeutic massage to patients under referral from clinical teams, at the Chase Farm site within step-down, rehabilitation and chemotherapy infusion suite settings, supporting patients' comfort, relaxation, and well-being during recovery.

Patient support site managers work closely with NHS site teams to ensure support reflects the clinical needs and demographics of each hospital. A small central social rights and benefits team provides targeted, discharge‑focused advice for financially vulnerable patients. The Transforming Peace & Security Campaigner will lead Medact’s campaigning for healthcare spaces which truly centre health and health justice, not surveillance, profiling and policing, in addition to providing ongoing strategic support to members organising against war and nuclear threat.

The campaigner will implement campaign strategy focused on targeted organising to build coalitions and solidarity with marginalised communities, continuing our campaign against the Prevent duty in health, and supporting our Medact Abolitionist Approaches to Health Group. Funds raised are used to provide support services, grow awareness, operate the Nurse Helpline, and fund research activities. The need for support is growing, and we must raise £250,000 each year, part of this will be the Fundraising Executive’s responsibility.

This is a varied role for someone who is enthusiastic and enjoys working with people managing multiple projects and a wide variety of tasks. No day is the same!
Ideally, you will have experience working in a fundraising role and be looking for an opportunity to broaden and deepen this. However, we will also consider applicants who have a background working in any community, events or relationship-led role.

The staff team is small (currently just three) which requires a flexible approach, including participating in trustee meetings (with time off in lieu) leading to a high-level understanding of the charity. You will have the opportunity to present your views and opinions on fundraising and events and build close relationships with the Chair and trustees.
Duties and Responsibilities
Work closely with the Senior Executive and Support Services Manager in a close-knit team, as needed, so that SarcoidosisUK can continue to deliver a quality experience to patients and their supporters whilst growing income and expanding fundraising activities.
Main aspects of the role include:
Fundraising (85%)
Social Media and Website (15%)
And any other duties as reasonably required to support the charity.
The role is hybrid and flexible, with two days per week based at our office in Vauxhall, London. A DBS check will be required.
Benefits:
Salary £30,000 - £32,000 subject to experience
Working days – Monday – Friday 9am - 5pm with a 1 hour lunch break
Employer pension contribution 3%
Paid holiday – 25 days in a calendar year (plus bank holidays), increasing by 1 day per year after 3 years to a maximum of 28 days (up to 5 days can be held over until 28 February)
Notice period – 2 months

The role focuses on supporting those experiencing the emotional impact of hospital admission, treatment and diagnosis, particularly children and families facing long or repeated admissions, medical trauma, complex care needs or significant emotional distress. Working closely with colleagues across the hospital and the charity the ward counsellor will help ensure children and families receive timeline, compassionate and coordinated wellbeing support throughout their hospital journey.

Our client is looking for a Human Resources Assistant/System Administrator to join their established warm and friendly HR Team.
What you’ll do
Recruitment
· Assist their HR Advisors in providing advice and guidance to hiring managers in respect of all recruitment issues.
· Responsible for the end to end recruitment and selection cycle, from placing adverts, supporting with interview arrangements and testing; onboarding; completion of pre-employment checks including right to work, DBS, occupational health clearance and obtaining satisfactory references. Liaising with hiring managers on status.
HR Metrics and reporting
· Prepare statistics on HR business information and any other regular and ad-hoc reports that are required for line managers, Senior Management, the Board.
HR Administration
· Preparation of employee correspondence, including contractual and rota changes, maternity and other leave.
· Maintain and update the Human Resources Information System (Cascade) and manual employee records.
· Administer DBS renewals, leavers, annual processes including appraisals and disclosure of interest.
· Provide support with both internal and external audits.
· Assist the Executive Director, Corporate Services with Employee Forum meetings, taking meetings notes for circulation.
System Administration
· Ensure all new accounts are set up with appropriate access to Cascade and Networx in accordance with agreed protocols.
· Resolve internal Cascade and Networx issues and raise helpdesks tickets as required.
About You
· CIPD Level 3 Foundation Certificate in People Practice or equivalent experience.
· Ability to undertake a complex range of tasks, organise and prioritise work to ensure deadlines are met, with excellent attention to detail.
· Excellent oral and written communication skills, with a professional manner at all times.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/Outlook) and HR/Recruitment databases, with experience of producing reports.
· Experience of working in a busy and varied administration role or in a HR Department.
