About the role

As a technical specialist focused on data & integration, you’ll collaborate with our digital, IT, and cross-functional teams, as well as external partners, to help design and implement robust data centric solutions.

The solutions you help to deliver will be fundamental to the success of the organisation and will involve using a mixture of SQL and C#. You’ll also document concepts, processes, and solutions to support long-term maintainability and knowledge sharing.

About you

You’ll enjoy problem solving and making use of creative ideas to deliver solutions that meet or exceed expectations. You’re collaborative with a solid foundation in SQL and C# and are familiar with DevOps and service desk tools.

You’ll approach new challenges with a structured but creative approach. You’re a person that enjoys creating data centric solutions that are focused on delivering value by integrating internal and external systems.

Prior experience of working in the charity sector would be beneficial, but it isn’t needed to deliver in the role.

Workplace Justice is a new company limited by guarantee that has been created to take forward the annual New Organising Conference. In September 2025 60 people will deliver 40 different sessions to an audience of 135 people.

Overview of the role

This role, which will be largely remote, with regular online supervision and periodic meet-ups, offers the opportunity to support an important social justice initiative which has received hugely positive feedback from participants. Outreach and Operations Support Manager, New Organising Conference

Background

Workplace Justice is the organisational home of the annual New Organising Conference, now in its third year, with support from the Network for Social Change The New Organising Conference, held over a weekend, is unique in bringing together a diverse group of participants - trade unions established and new, community organisers, not for profits, academics, lawyers and journalists, with a shared interest in worker rights and community organising. Participants learn, get inspiration and form new collaborations. In September 2025, 60 people delivered 44 different sessions to an audience of 130 people. Overview of the role

This role is largely remote, with weekly online supervision and monthly meet-ups with the Coordinator, and twice yearly Board meetups. It offers the opportunity to support an important social justice initiative which has received hugely positive feedback from participants. Summary job description

Key tasks

• Raising the profile of NOC and attracting participants and session leaders through social media, email communications and networking

• Responsibility for ensuring the website evolves in line with the needs of the Conference

• Maintaining and operating a database of participants, past and present

• Managing the registration of participants to the conference including taking payment and where necessary issuing invoices, and recruiting volunteers to assist at the conference

A candidate will have lived experience of navigating mental health care pathways, such as emergency department visits, acute admissions, or engagement with community mental health services, and a strong understanding of the issues faced by individuals with a range of mental health conditions. They will demonstrate the ability to offer support with empathy, dignity, and respect, while rapidly building trust with service users, carers, professionals, and peer workers. Excellent verbal and listening skills are essential for engaging effectively during crises and in day-to-day interactions, both face-to-face and over the phone. The candidate will also have a good understanding of local mental health and wellbeing services, recovery tools, and safeguarding practices, with the ability to assess needs, risks, and aspirations and provide appropriate signposting. The Purpose of the Role
The External Relations (ER) department includes private fundraising, marketing & communications and advocacy. Helpline Advisors are responsible for providing high-quality, empowering, emotional and practical support, assistance and information to women and those supporting them, who contact the Freephone 24-hour National Domestic Abuse Helpline, run by Refuge. The job involves working across multiple platforms including phone and live chat, to inform survivors of the full range of civil, criminal and practical options that might increase their safety.

How are staff supported to work remotely? 

VoiceAbility has a small number of offices. Employees including Team Leaders are homebased for Administration and meetings will be held online as well as in person in the relevant community.

The Role

Reporting to the Head of Data Services, the Data Officer will meet data needs relating to the management and delivery of supporter and engagement products. You will work alongside three other Data Officers to assess, prioritise and provide solutions including the building of data selections and journeys for direct marketing purposes and the running of supporter data imports and exports.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Delivering data selections, Building automated journeys for fundraising and engagement activity to support increased income generation and supporter retention, ensuring communications are delivered to agreed Service Level Agreements.
• Providing reports and data sets to supporter product owners, managers and delivery staff to help them maximise the impact of activities.

About You

You will have experience of using CRM Dynamics, Faststats and  PeopleStage and or any Donor CRM for marketing purposes. You will receive support while you are learning to use any of the tools and applications the team use and will be actively encouraged in the development of your data and analytical skills. Communication skills play a key part in this role, because you will need to be able to talk through or present selections or solutions to stakeholders.

You will have a proven record of:

• Working with large datasets for marketing purposes and provide solutions and or data in response to enquiries from colleagues and other teams.
• Using a relational customer/supporter database to import and export data to and from external suppliers; including data mapping and the design of appropriate import processes.
• Use of a marketing automation tools such as Faststats and PeopleStage.

Night Support Workers enable people with particular needs to manage their tenancies and live independent lives of their choosing in the community. Night Support Workers are responsible for ensuring continuity of a support service at night and for keeping customers and the building safe.

What you'll do:
- Building supportive, trusting relationships with customers and creating a positive atmosphere
- Working proactively with other members of the team to handle the service caseload and administrative responsibilities
- Conducting key work sessions as required, that are innovative and engaging in order to achieve Support Plan goals
- Ensuring ongoing assessment and management of risks associated with customers within an attitude of 'positive risk taking'

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a newly formed Trusts and Foundations team, with a mission to raise funds for CARE International’s work globally to shift power and resources to women and local communities.

As part of the Partnerships & Philanthropy (P&P) team, you will form and nurture relationships with UK based Trusts and Foundations, securing five and six figure partnerships with small and medium sized organisations. You will manage your own portfolio of five and six figure UK based Trusts and Foundations, and support the Senior Trusts and Foundations Manager with large opportunities. 

New business is a key part of this role, and you will have the exciting opportunity to research, identify and engage organisations that could be great prospects for CARE, as well as stewarding a small number of existing donors through creative, gold standard, relationship management.

The Development Officer is a key role in The Phoenix Way (TPW). It has a lead responsibility for strengthening organisational effectiveness and sustainability, enhancing the skills, knowledge, and resources of Black and racially minoritised voluntary and community-based organisations.

The Development Officers work will work closely with local community leaders and their staff, volunteers, and other stakeholders to assess needs, develop strategic plans, and implement capacity-building activities that promote growth, resilience, and optimal service delivery within the sector.
