The role

This is a pivotal role delivering high-impact fundraising events, overseeing end-to-end event operations, managing freelancers and volunteers, and ensuring seamless execution from planning to post-event analysis.

Key responsibilities include:

• Overseeing the end-to-end operations and delivery of our events, which includes coordinating freelancers, contractors, and volunteers.
• Developing and managing the Foundation’s annual events calendar, ensuring that deliverables are SMART and aligned with broader priorities.
• Managing tasks and work allocation for each event, ensuring that timelines and objectives are met.
• Ensuring events are effectively promoted and communicated to the QF database and beyond while leveraging key networks to maximise each event's success.

The person

We are looking for someone with significant experience delivering or working within luxury events. Ideally, you will also have experience delivering fundraising events, and working with HNWI. Strong project management and communication skills will be vital, and you will be confident with CRM systems, social media platforms and MS Office packages.

· To ensure we have the right systems in place to support staff to work efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

1. IT Coordination

• Oversee the Law Centre’s IT systems to ensure they are secure, efficient, and meet the organisation's needs.

• Liaise with external IT providers to coordinate maintenance, updates, and troubleshooting.

3. About the Role

This is a brand-new role with the exciting opportunity to help shape and grow Save the Rhino International’s fundraising from high-net-worth individuals, charitable family trusts and foundations, and corporate partners who share our passion for conservation. As Senior Philanthropy and Partnership Manager, you will lead on building and managing relationships with both new and existing supporters, helping to secure significant funding to support our long-term goals.

You’ll be responsible for the full supporter and partner journey, from identifying and approaching new prospects, to developing tailored proposals, making personal asks, and delivering excellent stewardship. You’ll bring a collaborative approach, strong communication skills, and a flair for building lasting partnerships based on shared values and trust.

This is both a strategic and hands-on role, working closely with colleagues across fundraising and communications. It’s ideal for someone with a strong track record in philanthropy and partnership fundraising who’s ready to take the lead and make a real impact for rhinos in the wild.

4. Key Responsibilities

• Strategic planning and direction
  • Review and refine the philanthropy and partnerships objectives and targets within our 2025–2030 organisational strategy, annual workplans and budgets, with the aim of increasing five- and six-figure donations
     
• Prospect identification and pipeline development
  • Identify new prospects across high-net-worth individuals, family trusts and foundations, and corporate trusts and foundations
  • Maintain and develop a robust pipeline of prospects and funders, using data insights and forecasting to inform planning and prioritisation
  • Conduct due diligence to ensure alignment with Save the Rhino’s values and ethical fundraising practices
     
• Relationship building, cultivation and stewardship
  • Nurture long-term relationships with existing and prospective high net-worth individuals, charitable family trusts and foundations, corporate supporters, and Donor-Advised Funds
  • Proactively build and leverage networks, including through Save the Rhino’s Patrons and Ambassadors programmes, to unlock new opportunities
  • Assess and respond to new partnership enquiries (philanthropic or corporate), exploring alignment and developing tailored approaches
  • Design and deliver effective stewardship plans for all high-value individuals, charitable family trusts and foundations, and corporates, ensuring timely acknowledgement, reporting, and ongoing engagement
  • Collaborate with the communications and marketing team to create tailored materials and supporter journeys for corporate and philanthropic audiences, using automation where appropriate
  • Strengthen relationships over time by providing personalised impact updates through reports, conversations, thank-you notes and other meaningful touchpoints

  • Ensure all supporter and partner activity is accurately recorded in the CRM and used effectively for relationship management
  • Manage administrative tasks, including creating invoices, preparing contracts and memorandums of understanding, and tracking income and expenditure against the budget
  • Uphold GDPR, data protection, and fundraising best practice across all philanthropy and corporate partnership activity, ensuring fundraising is ethical, inclusive and legally compliant

5. Person specification

Essential skills and experience

• Proven ability to design and implement fundraising strategies for high value donors, including developing cultivation, solicitation and stewardship plans
• Minimum 3 years’ fundraising experience with high net-worth individuals, family trusts and foundations and proven track record of securing and managing significant five and six figure donations
• Experience in developing stewardship and recognition strategies that deepen engagement and foster long-term support
• Knowledge of key sector regulations and guidance, including from the Charity Commission, Fundraising Regulator, and Chartered Institute of Fundraising, with a strong understanding of GDPR and data protection
• Experience using CRM systems and fundraising databases, with an understanding of how to apply data mining and segmentation strategies to support donor engagement and income generation
• Experience of developing high-quality funding proposals and narrative and financial reports
• Very strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence with the ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships across geographies and cultures
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to translate complex issues into compelling content that engages and inspires through storytelling
• Ability to work independently and accurately with attention to detail and meet deadlines as well as collaboratively as a part of cross-cutting teams across organisations
• Financial competence in budgeting, income and expenditure management

• Experience working within the conservation, wildlife, or environmental sector

Supporting over 750 children and nearly 1,000 families annually, Acorns Children’s Hospice is a vital lifeline for families across the West Midlands and Gloucestershire during unimaginably difficult times.

Palliative care for children aged 0–18 is delivered at Acorns’ hospices in Birmingham (serving Birmingham and Warwickshire), Worcester (serving Herefordshire, Worcestershire, and Gloucestershire), and Walsall (serving the Black Country and parts of Staffordshire and Shropshire), as well as in family homes and other community settings. We’re looking for an experienced Trusts fundraiser to provide maternity cover and hit the ground running. You’ll take on a robust pipeline and inherit relationships from a portfolio that includes multi-year partnerships with major funders such as Children in Need and John Martins. 

Working closely with a highly experienced and supportive peer, you’ll enjoy a shared, balanced portfolio and the space to focus on great fundraising. With a responsive Data team, access to strong stories, and excellent internal buy-in, this is a rare chance to build on solid foundations and deliver high-impact work. We’re looking for someone with a proven track record in writing successful 5- and 6-figure bids, excellent storytelling skills, and confidence in translating data into compelling narratives.

As Fundraising Manager – Trusts and Foundations, you will:

• Take on a well-established portfolio of trusts and foundations with a combined value of c.£850K, delivering a mix of templated and bespoke applications
• Collaborate closely with a peer Trusts Manager, sharing responsibility for monthly submissions and stewardship
• Maintain and build relationships with existing funders, ensuring excellent reporting and donor care
• Work cross-functionally with the Data, Marcomms, Finance, and Care teams to develop strong cases for support

Role purpose

Compass is a service designed to support adults (18 years and over) in H&F and Hounslow. The service provides support with welfare benefits, debt, housing and well-being/peer support groups/workshops.

The role of the Information and Advice Worker will be to provide advice, guidance and customer representation to H&F and Hounslow residents living with mental health problems. Advice issues may include, housing, benefits, council tax, debt, signposting etc.

The successful candidate will deliver support to enquirers and manage a caseload of individuals as agreed with the service manager. In addition to advice casework, the Advice Worker will also be expected to assist onboarding referrals to the service when needed.

The successful candidate will be required to work alongside the Advice Team Leader and volunteers supporting on the project.  

The Advice Worker will be required to work within the Advice Quality Standard framework (AQS), adhere to Mind’s policies and procedures.

Due to the nature of the work, if successful, you will need to have an up-to-date DBS check completed prior to undertaking unsupervised client work.  

Place of work

The Advice Worker will be required to work both from home and the H&F and Hounslow office when necessary, alongside work in the community.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver support to enquirers and manage a caseload of individuals as agreed with the service manager.
