The Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT) is seeking a Digital Project Manager to lead and support the successful delivery of a new digital CPD (Continuing Professional Development) Diary project for our members.

The role

The Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT) is looking for an experienced and proactive Project Manager to lead and support the successful delivery of a new digital CPD (Continuing Professional Development) Diary project for RCSLT members.

We’re looking for a part-time, fixed-term professional to lead a high-impact digital project from discovery to launch. In this role, you’ll take ownership of the entire project lifecycle, ensuring successful delivery on time and within budget. The project, the CPD Diary, is an essential tool for our members, and your leadership will be key to ensuring it meets their needs and expectations.

What we are looking for

We are seeking a Project Manager with a recognised project management qualification and a strong background in delivering digital or software projects. The ideal candidate will have excellent planning, organisational, and time management skills, along with strong interpersonal and communication abilities. Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, and an understanding of agile, iterative, and waterfall methodologies is essential.

Experience with Salesforce or similar platforms is highly valued, along with a strong track record in managing procurement, budgets, and coordinating contractors or agencies. You’ll also bring sharp risk assessment skills, a solid grasp of governance reporting, and the confidence to manage a wide range of internal and external stakeholders effectively. Most importantly, you’ll understand the aims and values of the RCSLT and demonstrate the ability to embed these into your work and strategic approach.

Terms

There is an office in central London. We are looking for someone who can commit up to 3 days per week on average, on a freelance basis. The successful candidate would likely be in the office one day a week. The hourly rate offered would be between £35 and £45 depending on experience.

The Corporate Team at ARUK has just enjoyed a record-breaking year of fundraising by our corporate partners. We require a proactive and organised colleague to provide the team with vital administrative support. 

The successful candidate will support our partnerships with companies such as Dyson, The Perfume Shop, Cadbury, and Slimming World while building excellent relationships with supporters from within those organisations. This role will also support our new business team with their approaches to prospective companies. 

This is a 12-month fixed term contract to cover a secondment period. This role will be known internally as Partnership Development Executive – FTC.

Main duties and responsibilities of the role:

Team administrative support

· Provide general administrative support for all members of the team.

· Manage invites and room bookings for Corporate Team meetings.

· Ensure accurate recording keeping through the use of our CRM system.

· Be the main internal point of contact for the Corporate Team.

· Respond to incoming team enquires promptly and professionally.

· Ensure accurate financial records are kept, by reconciling gifts across multiple donation platforms.

· Fundraising stock management and distribution.

· Assisting the team with event planning, including sourcing pricing quotes, raising purchase orders and booking equipment and ordering merchandise.

· Update the team intranet and website pages. 

· Post from the Partnership Development team Twitter accounts, monitor LinkedIn for activity by our partners and flag to appropriate team member. 

· Update internal group email distribution lists as required.

Securing new partnerships

· Fundraising data management: adding new companies and prospects to ensure accurate records of approaches made by the team. 

· Monitor supporter information on the database to generate new leads for the team.

· Generating reports for the New Business team and maintaining accurate records.

· Provide ad hoc support in the lead-up to high-value pitches and applications e.g. prepare materials, book couriers etc. 

Supporting our existing partnerships

· Provide a first-class stewardship journey for fundraisers from companies that are supporting the charity. Including making sure they have the materials and resources required to fundraise – preparing and sending information packs, wishing them good luck, drafting letters, and sending thank you messages.

· Work closely with the Central Fundraising Team to ensure a consistent stewardship journey across all audiences. 

· Manage online giving pages and our CRM system to make sure corporate supporters are identified and recorded correctly, and their income potential is maximised.

· Monitor the CRM system to make sure that all information about our corporate fundraisers is recorded correctly.

· Filter enquiries from our corporate supporters whilst the Partnership Development Officers are on annual leave to ensure a timely and helpful response. 

· Help support event delivery by sourcing volunteers, merchandise, and gifts in kind for events.

· Keep the Partnership Development Officers and Team Managers up to date on feedback from supporters. 

· Communicate key fundraising products and communications designed for our Corporate supporters with the Regional team. 

· Develop new fundraising idea packs to engage our Corporate supporters and seek appropriate sign off.

Working with others

· Work with our merchandising team for the development and production of event materials as required.

· Liaise with our distribution centre to organise mass mailings of materials needed for pitches and large partnership launches and events.

· Represent the Corporate Partnerships team on working groups for internal projects to ensure the team’s needs are met.

· Work closely with our Supporter Care Team, Central Fundraising Team and Insight & Development teams to make sure that the Corporate Partnership team is following processes correctly and is adopting improved practices where possible. 

What we are looking for:

· Confidence working with computers and Microsoft Office; knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook.

· Experience using databases.

· Experience working in a customer/client facing position.

· Demonstrable administrative experience or relevant transferable skills.

· Experience of building and managing relationships with colleagues.

· Good verbal and written communication skills.

· Ability to prioritise and effectively manage multiple tasks.

Additional Information:

Are you an experienced Fundraiser, with a track-record of securing high value strategic gifts, developing relationships and a desire to end homelessness?

We are looking for a Senior Trust and Grants Fundraiser to join the St Mungo’s Trusts and Grants fundraising team, playing a key role in helping raise vital funds for services that support people experiencing and recovering from homelessness to rebuild their lives.

In the role of Senior Trust and Grants Fundraiser  you will work closely with a team of four other trust fundraisers, you will play a key role in helping to meet our income target of circa £1.5m in 2025-26, and producing high quality written proposals and reports that reflect the impact of philanthropic support on the people we work with. Other key responsibilities will include:

• Build and nurture relationships with charitable trusts and foundations, securing high-value 5-6 figure gifts from trusts who support the work that we do.  
• Craft compelling, tailored funding applications aligned with trust interests and St Mungo’s mission.

• Provided line management and support a Trusts Fundraising Officer.

In this role you will be required to work flexibly for at least 2 days per week from our Central Office in Tower Hill, London. If so, this is an exciting opportunity for you to take the next step in your career by joining the Brent Irish Advisory Service (BIAS) as our Housing Adviser.

BIAS’s housing advice service supports members of the local Irish community and beyond with a range of complex housing issues, including homelessness, rehousing, tenancy sustainment and disrepair. We are looking to appoint a dynamic, enthusiastic person who has a background or demonstrable interest in advice, housing or homelessness to join our friendly advice team. Your role will involve contributing to the day-to-day running of BIAS’s advice service, providing specialist advice on housing via one-to-one client appointments, completing casework and advocating for positive outcomes for your clients.

You will need to have strong people skills and the ability to build good working relationships with colleagues and clients, excellent organisational skills and the ability to digest complex briefs. You will be required to manage an active caseload, ensuring that cases are appropriately actioned and recorded and that deadlines are met.

If you are interested in working in housing advice but don’t yet have all the knowledge or experience required, please consider applying as we are willing to consider appointing the right candidate in a trainee role.

KEY WORK AREAS AND MAIN DUTIES

• Providing appropriate advice, information and practical help to clients, via in-person appointments, outreach visits, telephone, letter or email. Where necessary, advocating on behalf of clients in the appropriate forums.
• Ensuring that all casework records are kept up to date and completed clearly and effectively.
• Contributing to monitoring service delivery and recording client outcomes.
• Maintaining a good knowledge of other available services, and signposting or referring clients as needed.
• Participating in regular team file reviews and supervision sessions, and contributing to maintaining BIAS’s high-quality service in line with Advice Quality Standard (AQS) requirements.  
• Engaging positively and constructively with other service providers, including local authorities and housing providers, to maintain partnerships.
• Staying up to date with developments in housing legislation and identifying opportunities to effect positive change to housing policy, together with the Advice Manager.

These are the basic duties required of the Housing Adviser. However, it is necessary for all staff to be flexible and you may be required from time to time to perform other reasonable duties which are required for the efficient running of the organisation. We will also offer training opportunities to support your career development.

Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK. This role will be based primarily in our advice offices in Willesden (Brent), with some outreach work in Haringey borough. There may be some options for flexible working (one day per week)

WHAT DOES BIAS DO?

BIAS is a local charity which has supported England’s largest Irish community in Brent for over forty-five years. We deliver our support through our welfare advice drop-in service, our Active Ageing Clubs and our Be-a-friend volunteer scheme. We raise over £2 million in extra income for the most vulnerable every year and have over 3000 attendances at our club services. BIAS has exciting plans for further expansion in Haringey in 2025 and has a range of medium- to long-term grant funding, including from Ireland’s Emigrant Support Programme.

Purpose

The Programme Officer will be responsible for supporting the effective implementation of project delivery activities across our portfolio, predominantly in Africa, Europe, Central Asia, and the Middle East. The post holder will support project delivery, ensuring quality expectations (internal and client), delivering within the scope and budgeted resources of projects, and in line with project timelines. Main Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the Programme Officer include the following:

1. Project Support

• Provide support to Programme Managers in the delivery of projects, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and scope and comply with client contracts
• Take on the project management of assigned select projects within a determined budget/complexity threshold, ensuring that they are delivered to time and quality
• Set-up and monitor project workplans, including change requests ensuring that approvals are formally recorded and filed
• Manage day-to-day relationships with delivery partners and internal team(s) and build a solid understanding of delivery needs and timelines across projects
• Monitor and support timely client and consultant billing and invoices attached to delivery
• Support onboarding of consultants for new projects, including due diligence checks and contract preparation based on set templates

• Provide timely responses to client queries and alert the Senior Project Manager of any potential risks
• Lead duty of care and travel planning for staff and consultants, working alongside administrative officers

2. Project Financial Management

• Monitor project budget performance, capturing variances and liaising with the Finance Team and Senior Programme Manager
• Monitor and support the processing of consultants’ expenses/fees against contracts and client invoices against contracts.
• Make recommendations to ensure financial outcomes are met with respect to time, quality and cost, and provide early warning of project overspend
• Prepare internal project update reporting including finances and resourcing using required management tools.

3. Organisational Support and Business Development

• Provide support in strengthening policies, procedures, and management tools for Development Pathways
• Coordinate with wider project teams to ensure technical capacity is well planned across Development Pathways’ portfolio of projects
• Signpost colleagues to relevant project management tools and processes, when required
• Support project closure processes as required, capturing and sharing lessons internally
• Provide ad hoc input to evolving organisational requirements as directed by senior members
• Assist with the identification and monitoring of business opportunities in donor markets, as requested
• Update SharePoint and ensure project data sheets are developed and up to date to facilitate bids for tenders
• Collate and share project information to support the Business Development and Communications department.

Responsibilities and Person Specification:

The Head of Governance will lead the charity’s small Governance and Risk, and Facilities teams. They are responsible for governance, company secretarial, risk management, health and safety, safeguarding, information governance, procurement and contracts management, business continuity planning, and management of facilities and the charity's office and small portfolio of other properties.

The role would suit someone who enjoys a broad remit and working with colleagues across the charity, who can think around issues and implement pragmatic solutions. As the role has a wide remit, the ability to learn quickly will be key. This Programmes Manager role will play a key role in the delivery of the bequests and gifts programme.
 
Within this role, you will work with the Senior Programmes Manager to manage relationships with donors, solicitors, executors, providing key advice and regular updates. You will have your own caseload of singular pieces of art to large bequests. You will support with reviewing and making improvements to programme strategies.
 
You will undertake research on specific works of art, to evaluate if they would be suitable for museums and advise donors on suitable housing of their valuable pieces. You will also disseminate information about successful gifts and bequests to internal stakeholders.
 
To be successful within this role, you will have demonstrable interest the visual arts, heritage or museums and galleries sector. You will have solid experience in arts administration, grant-making and/or collections management.
 
You will have experience of working with committees, trustees or donors or other external stakeholders. You will have the ability to manage budgets.
