This is a crucial role, working across our digital channels to deliver ongoing communications and create content. You will be comfortable writing for different channels, formats and audiences, able to adapt your approach according to what’s needed. As a team, we cover a wide range of activities, and every day is different. You could be going from working on video editing one moment, to building an automated email campaign or preparing content for Instagram the next. 

The Content Coordinator manages operational and administrative activity for the content team, ensuring that things run smoothly. You will have responsibility for our content calendar, managing the shared inbox and coordinating requests from staff. You will work closely with all Marketing and Digital team members, as well as with colleagues from across the RCR, helping to deliver effective and engaging communications. 

What you’ll do

• Manage the day to day operations of our email platform, helping to develop new opportunities, build workflows and analyse engagements.
• Help to develop and deliver compelling content for our social media channels.
• Optimise and improve website content, ensuring consideration of SEO and UX.
• Edit and deliver video content for our channels, alongside other digital assets.
• Provide critical operational support for our channels, content planning and the wider team. 
• Work with colleagues across the organisation in building high quality, engaging content for audiences, using insight to drive decision making.

The People & Operations Officer will join a busy operations team. This is a new, multifaceted role, with responsibility for looking after the team and the smooth and safe running of the FNF office and operations.

Key responsibilities

• Office and IT Management: Oversee day-to-day office operations and ensure a productive working environment, including office management and maintenance, supplies, IT systems, and coordination with external providers.
• Health and Safety: Conduct and support risk assessments, maintain incident reporting systems, and act as a trained fire warden and first aider (training provided), ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and audits.
• HR Administration Support: Coordinate recruitment administration, onboarding of new staff, HR data reporting, administration of annual leave and other benefits, HR system maintenance, and maintenance of employee records in alignment with internal policies and regulation.
• Policy, Governance and Operations Support: Assist and coordinate with policy review and development, and provide general operations support including event logistics and administration, coordinating meetings and taking minutes.

The People & Operations Officer will have proven experience of working in a varied operational role within the non-profit sector. You will have demonstrable experience in and/or an understanding of health and safety management, as well as experience of managing relationships with vendors. The ideal candidate will have experience of supporting HR processes and activities, reviewing and improving processes and experience developing and implementing policies and procedures (desirable).

With excellent attention to detail and exceptional administration skills, you will be confident and committed to suggesting improvements and in developing initiatives that will continually improve efficiencies and ways of working throughout FNF. You will have strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with people internally and externally and will demonstrate a high level of integrity and professionalism. The People and Operations Officer will have a working knowledge of MS Office and strong digital administration and CRM skills (ideally Salesforce). You will be highly organised with the ability to mutli-task and prioritise to meet deadlines whilst being adaptable and flexible.

The Engagement Manager employed by Turn2us will deliver activity with smaller charities and grassroots organisations supporting those facing financial insecurity that:

• Increases awareness of the impact of environmental change and related policy on different communities 
• Listens to people in these communities to find out what actions they want charities and local government to take
• Develops shared local environmental policy priorities and empowers these organisations to advocate directly to local and national policy makers
• Identifies actions that these organisations can take to support communities to respond to climate change, and helps organisations to implement them
• Identifies people with lived experience to receive hands on training in order to act as diverse champions to media and policy makers

They will work closely with Community Engagement Managers employed by Disability Rights UK, and Race Equality Foundation, focussed on reaching organisations supporting Disabled people and people from ethnic minority communities.

About you

To excel in this role, you will need:

• Strong understanding of omnichannel principles, alongside data segmentation and personalisation in digital communications

It is desirable for candidates to be proficient in one or more Eastern European languages.

You will have proven experience of providing direct emotional and practical support to women as well as up-to-date knowledge of legislation relating to survivors of gender-based violence. You will have excellent casework skills, good written and verbal communication skills, clear professional boundaries and be a proactive team player. All candidates must demonstrate a commitment to the feminist values of empowerment and equality which underpin all of our work. 

The post holder will provide a high-quality personal welfare support service to Eastern European survivors of domestic abuse and other forms of violence and abuse and their children. The post holder will empower Eastern European survivors by providing them with emotional and practical support, including support to access safe accommodation. 

The post holder will provide capacity building in the form of advice, advocacy, support and briefings across the London boroughs to statutory agencies and community organizations around the needs of Eastern European domestic abuse survivors, to embed best practice across our communities.

We help individuals with mental health problems to find paid employment or return to their current role after a period of ill health. A key part of the role is to engage directly with employers and, once relationships have been established, nurture and sustain those relationships. Day to day, you’ll offer support, careers advice and guidance, helping people to set their own recovery and employment-focused goals and provide training in personal and skills development such as CV preparation, interview techniques etc. You’ll also be responsible for establishing and maintaining positive links with community mental health teams (CMHRS), Early Intervention Into Psychosis (EIIP) Teams, partner organisations, local employers and other relevant agencies and have the initiative to develop and promote the service. Additionally, you will have responsibility for maintaining efficient admin systems to ensure referrals, assessments and reviews are completed in a timely manner. We are recruiting a General Advice Officer to support with the delivery of advice and welfare support to vulnerable guests who access the Community Wellbeing Service, a local support hub offering relief from the rising cost of living for local families. The General Advice Officer will support our guests on a range of areas including benefits, immigration, housing, money management and access to training and employment services. The postholder will provide high quality welfare advice and guidance through weekly one-to-one advice sessions, undertake case work, work with partners to facilitate referrals, and provide support to advice volunteers. 

The successful candidate must have at least two years’ experience delivering effective advice or in a similar capacity, demonstrate empathy, an understanding of the issues facing vulnerable people, and have in-depth and up-to-date knowledge of welfare benefits and housing policies/legislations, with a strong focus on achieving tangible outcomes for our guests.

Advice Work

• Carry out assessments to identify urgent needs and appropriate support pathways for members at the Community Wellbeing Service.
• Support outreach or community engagement activities as needed.
• Provide holistic and person-centred advice and casework on the main enquiry areas, particularly welfare benefits, housing, employment, health and wellbeing, immigration and money management.
• Maintain Sufra’s Advice Quality Standards and meeting tangible outcomes.
• Produce detailed case records on our case management system for the purpose of continuity, statistical monitoring and report preparation
• Apply for funds from trusts and foundations to support individuals and families with essential costs such as housing deposits or white-goods and/or cancellation of debts;
• Develop and maintain good working relationships with external stakeholders for joined up working, including statutory and voluntary service providers, making referrals for guests where appropriate.
• Enable and support guests to act for themselves, wherever appropriate.
• Monitor the progression of all cases to the point of resolution.
• Conduct follow-up calls with guests where needed and track outcomes
• Support volunteers who are working on delivering Advice Services e.g triage volunteers and pathways volunteers
• Provide advice to the General Advice Service as and when required

Case Management

• Manage own caseload and work independently to support guests
• Use of Case Management System (AdvicePro) as well as Microsoft Office for communication and document production.
• Support with developing case studies and gathering guest feedback
• Collect statistical information as requested for reporting purposes.
• Feed into the development of monitoring reports for funders and other stakeholders

Other Responsibilities

• Maintain and update the charity’s record of referral and signposting agencies;
• Ensure data protection regulations are adhered to, and that sensitive data is handled in accordance with relevant legislation and organisational procedures.
• Keep informed of new and changing legislation relevant to the post, and of local issues and policies
• Be committed to the aims, procedures and policies of Sufra’s advice service in every aspect of service delivery.
• Take part in supervisions, personal development training, team meetings and appraisals

This role will work across our two thematic areas of ending impunity for corruption and defending democracy, liaising closely with the policy leads for those areas. You will be Spotlight’s organisational lead on developing our networks in Parliament, maintaining our relationships with Coalitions, and creating opportunities to get Spotlight messages across to policy and decision makers.

Working arrangements:

This role will be responsible for supporting research scientists who are applying for grants or are carrying out funded research for us. This work is critical for us to achieve the charity’s main objective of funding Parkinson’s research to slow, stop and reverse Parkinson’s.

As our Research Grants Officer you will be comfortable building relationships and providing support for researchers. You will be an effective member of our pioneering Research Team, ultimately helping us to drive scientific discovery forward and bring us closer to a cure.
