Reporting to the Senior Supporter Care Manager, you will deliver excellent customer care to supporters and potential supporters of Operation Smile UK. As an integral part of the Supporter Care team, you will successfully support the Individual Giving programme and wider fundraising activities, providing support to ever-increasing income and supporter stewardship for the delivery of increasing levels of unrestricted income for Operation Smile UK.
Key Responsibilities
- Be the first point of contact for existing supporters and new supporters who respond to our fundraising activities by phone, email, letter or in person, letter, or email delivering outstanding supporter care
- Liaise with supporters in timely communication via email, phone, and mail, with excellent customer care
- Prioritise answering incoming phone calls and escalate any difficult situations/complaints to the Senior Supporter Care Manager
- Support processing incoming phone and postal donations
- Assist with banking and processing incoming/outgoing post
- Be responsible for thanking our supporters, including by letter, email and phone, dispatch of information and fundraising materials
- Enter and maintain accurate records on our Database
- Maintain and assist with all types of donation processing, administration and Database record amendments/records being kept up to date. This will include Gift Aid status and contact consent requests
- Assist with cancelling and amending all types of regular gifts and sending out appropriate letters
- Manage the removal process and consent process
- Assist with sending out problem payment letters
- Following up cancelled regular payments as part of the winback process
- Assist with handling material requests and recording actions on the Database
- Assist with any third-party agency supporter care requests
- Maintain sensitive information and records with appropriate confidentiality
- Play an active role in developing the supporter journey at Operation Smile UK, working with the Senior Supporter Care Manager and colleagues across Fundraising & Communications.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for:
The Lead Coach is primarily responsible for overseeing the training room and group sessions with young people. You will help shape the training environment and will confidently adapt and deliver materials and sessions to work within the group’s development towards work readiness.
Delivery of Spear Programme - Group and 1:1 coaching [60%]
- Preparing and coaching Spear Foundation sessions and 1-1s, ensuring that young people are engaged, retained and work-ready by the end of this initial phase of the programme.
- Building relationships with young people on the programme and managing culture and attitudes in the training room.
- Adapting the Spear coaching material according to the needs of the Trainees and managing behaviour effectively.
Delivery of Spear Career [20%]
- Delivering weekly Spear Career sessions (including running workshops with past Trainees), maintaining records and reporting on statistics, and creatively developing ongoing relationships with Spear Trainees.
Training the Assistant Coach [10%]
- Contributing towards the training and developing of the Assistant Coach by modelling excellent coaching and giving regular feedback.
Trainee recruitment [10%]
- Developing relationships with Job Centres and local referral agencies to ensure that the maximum number of Spear Trainees are enrolled on each programme. This involves liaising with referral agencies, active face-to-face recruitment and monitoring recruitment statistics.
Continuous professional development
- Continually engaging in professional development, including being part of Resurgo’s wider coaching programmes and supporting the Programme Managers with overall team training and development.
Active participation in and support for church team and mission
- As the Spear programme is run by Junction Community Trust in partnership with St Mark’s Church, Battersea Rise, you will be required to establish a strong personal presence at the church to develop the engagement and backing of church members and help build a strong network of supporters for the Spear programme. As part of this you may be asked to speak at church/events and contribute to prayer meetings as per Resurgo’s Christian ethos and the mission of the church

The Relationship Fundraising role will play a significant part in contributing to a high-performing fundraising team. The role will cover the counties of Cambridgeshire, Norfolk & Suffolk.
You will report to the Relationship Fundraising Manager and support the Head of Relationship Fundraising & Volunteering to drive the continued growth of the charity’s fundraising income in your area. You will also be required to show excellent relationship-building skills to support community partnerships and volunteer groups, driving towards agreed targets.
This is a 12-month fixed term contract, or on return of the substantive postholder, to cover a period of maternity leave.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy, finance, and reporting
· Responsibility for stewardship and relationship building with supporters within the East region.
· Identify and apply for ‘Charity of the Year’ partnerships with corporates in the region, account manage these relationships up to a value of £50,000 per annum and support the Partnership Development Team with national partnerships in your region.
· Support existing volunteer fundraisers to encourage continued loyalty to the charity and to maximise funds raised, in accordance with fundraising legislation and good practice.
· Recruit new fundraising supporters in line with strategy.
· Support the Relationship Fundraising Manager (RFM) and Head of Relationship Fundraising (HORF) in developing the Relationship Fundraising strategy for ARUK to increase income within this stream.
· Support and extend volunteer networks within geographical area in line with strategy.
· To ensure that fundraising activity is implemented and managed to deliver budgets, targets and income in line with strategy. To achieve this by supporting and facilitating the development of groups and volunteers across geographical area.
· Work across a diverse geographical area and within a geographically dispersed team, whilst managing own workload in a cost-effective and proactive way.
Supporter Management
· Provide excellent customer service to fundraising supporters, with prompt responses to enquiries, to acknowledge support and increase long-term loyalty.
· Provide high-quality account management to volunteer groups in geographical area.
· Effective management of volunteer relationships within geographical area.
· Support, motivate and develop local fundraising volunteers, ensuring they have a clear understanding of ARUK to enable them to represent the charity’s work effectively.
· In liaison with the Partnership Development Managers and Partnership Officers, provide high quality account management to corporate supporters within specified geographical area and/or of relevant value.
· Keep up to date with fundraising legislation and codes of practice to be able to provide relevant advice to fundraisers.
· Ensure volunteers and fundraisers have all necessary materials for fundraising initiatives.
Increasing Community Support within geographical area
· Use own initiative to extend volunteer networks, develop new groups and supporters, and respond to fundraising opportunities within geographical area, in line with strategy.
· Manage recruitment process of new ARUK volunteers in geographical area, providing relevant support and training.
· Liaise with local community organisations (predominantly golf clubs) – both previous and new potential supporters – to extend income and activity in line with strategy.
· Provide face-to-face talks and presentations to community organisations for recruitment/ cultivation purposes.
· Arrange appropriate volunteer representation at events in the community, spreading the charity’s reach cost-effectively.
· Identify, research and target prospective community organisations, in liaison with RFM.
· Identify, research and target prospective local corporates in liaison with RFM / HORF and ARUK’s Partnership Development Managers and Partnership Development Officers, in line with strategy.
· Accurately track and record contact with both community and corporate prospects for planning and reporting purposes.
Monitoring and Reporting
· Ensure that your activity is monitored and evaluated, clearly communicating progress to your Relationship Fundraising Manager.
· Manage relevant information on the charity’s database, keeping detailed, up-to-date records of activity and income.
What we are looking for:
· Experience in partnership fundraising and/or relationship building
· Experience and confidence in public-speaking, such as giving presentations and talking at events
· Knowledge of recruiting key volunteers and fundraising supporters
· Experience and a keen interest in building long term relationships with supporters

At Lewisham Refugee and Migrant Network we’re looking for someone to join us as our Senior Legal Aid Advisor. We will always stand by people standing up to an unjust immigration system. We provide a safe haven for people to rebuild their lives and our Senior Legal Aid Advisor role is a key part of that. Sitting in the immigration team, you will work on our Legal Aid contract alongside a team of Immigration Advisors working on a mix of grant funded projects for migrants unable to afford private representation. You will work within a supportive environment, reporting to our Immigration Manager, and be able to develop your areas of expertise. We’re a small and colaborative team so you will have the opportunity to work closely with other members of the organisation.
Main Roles
Manage a full caseload of complex immigration matters funded by legal aid, including
asylum, human rights, and deportation cases.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and contractual obligations (IAAS, SRA, LAA).
Complete funding applications, manage provider submissions, track time, prepare
and submit legal aid bills and ensure compliance with LAA obligations.
Provide ad hoc supervision, mentoring or training to members of the immigration
team working on related immigration matters.
Specific Duties
1.Manage a full caseload of complex immigration matters funded by legal aid,
including asylum, human rights, and deportation cases.
a.Manage a complex caseload across the field of immigration, nationality and
asylum law.
b.Prepare, draft and file appeals to the First-tier and Upper Tribunals and conduct
appeals hearings as required.
c.Own legal aid processes for each case: complete funding applications, provider
submissions, billing, time recording and compliance with funder requirements.
d.Provide expert legal advice and represent clients in hearings; instruct counsel
when necessary and manage counsel budgets.
e.Interview and advise clients regarding immigration and asylum law procedure, and

Advice Pro as appropriate and as required by management.
g.Advocate on behalf of clients by telephone, letter and email with appropriate
agencies.
2. Ensure compliance with regulatory and contractual obligations (IAAS, SRA, LAA).
a.Maintain Continuing Professional Development (CPD) in line with IAA, IAAS
registration or similar professional body, e.g. SRA
b.Keep up to date at all times with changes in the law by reading and attending
training events relating to asylum and immigration.
c.Adhere to casework procedures as outlined in LRMN’s policies, the IAA, SRA,
IAAS, SQM and AQS.
d.To maintain accurate and detailed case records of clients for the purpose of
continuity of casework, information retrieval and statistical monitoring, using
manual or/and computerised systems (Advicepro) as appropriate and as required

e.Produce reports to meet funder’s and LRMN requirements.
f.Work closely with the Immigration Manager and/or external evaluator in gathering
data and information to produce accurate monitoring and evaluation reports.
g.To assist LRMN in liaising with its funders and to provide statistical information
and updates as required.
3. Complete funding applications, manage provider submissions, track time, prepare and
submit legal aid bills and ensure compliance with LAA obligations.
a.Complete initial funding applications and any subsequent variations or
exceptional funding requests; gather and upload supporting evidence; ensure
eligibility and means assessments are correctly recorded.
b.Submit and monitor claims through the LAA portal (or other relevant portals),
respond to queries or requests for further information, and liaise with LAA
caseworkers or contract managers as required.
c.Draft detailed bills in the required format, check calculation of fees and
disbursements, obtain necessary approvals, and submit within contractual
deadlines.
d.Maintain documentary proof to satisfy LAA audit requirements (attendance
notes, advice records, evidence of means), respond to audit enquiries, and
implement remedial actions where required.
4. Provide ad hoc supervision, mentoring or training to members of the immigration team
working on related immigration matters.
a.Maintain close liaison with the Immigration Manager to ensure a unified approach
to leading and developing the team.
b.Provide occasional mentoring or supervision to individuals working on legal aid
cases.
c.Provide occasional training to individuals working on legal aid cases.
5. Other Duties
a.To participate in LRMN staff meetings, maintaining a high level of professionalism

About You
You are a highly organised and detail-oriented individual with proven administrative experience in a fast-paced environment. Key responsibilities:

As a CRM Engineer at Cancer Research UK (CRUK) you will play an essential role in our migration from Sieble to Salesforce by helping to deliver specific packages of development for our Salesforce platform within one of our Technology product teams while running our CRM platform in production, in collaboration with the CRM support team.
Collaborating with other Engineers, Sieble Application Administrators, Product Managers, Testers, Agile Coaches, Architects, support engineers, end users, and Business Analysts you will adopt and ensure best practices while looking for new and improved approaches to technical challenges. You must be able to communicate with less technical colleagues from the wider charity in a language they can understand to help them convert business challenges into technical solutions.
A key part of the role is to keep the Salesforce system operational by managing administrative changes from both the development teams and support functions. This will involve maintaining and onboarding user profiles as the platform grows (we currently have 70 users, are onboarding 100 this quarter, and up to 500 in the first half of next year). You will also work to continually improve the accessibility, availability, performance, and security of our Salesforce products and environments.
What will I be doing?
- Working independently or in collaboration with Solution Architects to support solutions in line with the CRM Engineering strategy
- Collaborating with Product Managers, Service Designers, UX Designers, Business Analysts, and operational teams/support to identify user needs, discuss capabilities and iteratively design solutions
