About the role

We’re looking to recruit an experienced procurement manager to help us achieve best value for money with our spend so that we can invest more in our services that support people with breast cancer. If successful you’ll be working as part of the legal and governance team and will have responsibility for both initiating and supporting our procurement projects. You’ll be building upon the relationships with contract owners that we’ve in place, offering best practice guidance to help them achieve their objectives whilst ensuring that value for money is achieved and risks mitigated. As our charity continues to grow you’ll have the opportunity to share your knowledge and develop your procurement experience across a wide and varied range of contracts.

About you

Our successful candidate will have good procurement experience in leading and supporting tenders for goods and services with a sound knowledge of IT system procurement. Experience of charity specific contracts would be an advantage but not essential.

You’ll have good negotiating skills being able to lead on supplier commercial negotiations. You should be able to demonstrate where and how you have added value to the procurement process. The ability to help with drafting tender specifications and statements of work is a key requirement for this role. CIPS qualified, or working towards the qualification, would be an advantage but not essential.

• Reporting to the Health Promotion Manager, this role will involve working closely with health care providers and community stakeholders to develop and design an evidence-based, behaviour change intervention, aimed at reducing smoking prevalence across targeted populations.
• This is an exciting opportunity for a specialist with expertise in tobacco dependence, behaviour change, and public health programme design to lead the development of a smoking cessation pilot. 

Main Duties/Responsibilities:  

• Develop a high-quality smoking cessation pilot programme
• Conduct needs assessments and analyse local smoking prevalence data to inform programme design. 
• Lead on the design, development, and delivery of a high-quality stop-smoking pilot programme, tailored to meet local population needs. 
• Develop training materials and resources for facilitators delivering the programme. 

Specialist Support and Advice

Skills and Experience:  

• Educated to degree level in health, social care, public health, or significant professional experience in smoking cessation. 
• Proven experience working within local authorities, the NHS, or similar public health settings. 
• Completion of the National Centre for Smoking Cessation and Training (NCSCT) certification. 
• Strong knowledge and practical understanding of stop-smoking medications and their appropriate use.

About the Role

A stimulating and rewarding opportunity has arisen for a Practitioner Psychologist with a Forensic background. You will work alongside the Group Psychological Lead and other members of the team within our Independent Approved Premises (IAP) to deliver psychological services to residents and staff. • Providing high quality psychological services, contributing to the delivery of Approved Premises aims as specified by the Ministry of Justice.
• Ensuring all services are delivered in accordance with HCPC standards of conduct, performance and ethics.

What will I be doing?

• Lead in all aspects of the software development life cycle e.g., requirements, analysis, design, implementation, testing and documentation
• Apply Lean and Agile principles to develop high quality code that has minimal bugs, adheres to CRUK standards and is highly supportable

What are you looking for?

Essential:

• Ability to write clean, readable, and properly tested code based on tried and tested design patterns.
• Experience building applications on our existing CRM platform (Siebel) and/or future CRM (Salesforce), including data model design, custom UIs, custom logic, inbound and outbound integration logic
• Experience running critical services in production and designing highly available, scalable, and secure solutions
• Acted as a Senior or Lead within an Engineering team, starting the development of new features from scratch, defining the overall solutions, and reviewing more junior engineers' work.'

About You;

• Dashboard building experience (Tableau, Power BI)

This dual role is split approximately 40% fundraising and 60% project leadership and partnership development.
