The Organisation
The Royal Parks (TRP) is a charity created in March 2017. We manage over 5,000 acres of diverse parkland, rare habitats, and historic buildings and monuments in eight Royal Parks across London. We are now looking for an Estates Support Officer to join us on a full-time, permanent basis, working 36 hours per week.

The Role
As an Estates Support Officer, you will maintain and co-ordinate the day-to-day administrative and financial operations that support the management of our diverse and high-profile property portfolio.
Specifically, you will help keep the estates database accurate and up to date, managing the Estates mailbox as the first point of contact for property-related enquiries, and providing vital support to Estate Managers in the co-ordination of leases, licences and financial procedures.
In addition, you’ll monitor and report on workflow progression, oversee rent collection and financial commitments, and work closely with the Finance team to support invoicing processes and annual reporting requirements.
Additionally, you will:
- Co-ordinate documentation and track compliance with internal property procedures
- Prepare meeting documentation, take minutes, and follow up on actions
- Process ad hoc licences and distribute property-related correspondence
- Support income forecasting and assist with budget preparation
- Maintain the team’s Risk Register and ensure mitigation actions are reviewed regularly
- Represent the Estates team in internal forums and support stakeholder communications
About You
To be considered as an Estates Support Officer, you will need:
- A strong administrative background with experience in estates/property or finance
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, database management systems, and finance systems
- Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem solving, data and record management
- Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build rapport with stakeholders
- Highly organised with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines
- Strong report writing, mathematical and analytical skills
- A Level 3 qualification or above in Business Administration, Property Management, Finance or related field (or equivalent relevant experience)
- GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English at grade C/4 or above

The Data Assistant will form an integral part of our Operations team, working closely with our Database Manager to support the effective management, accuracy and use of Fight for Sight’s data across systems.
This role plays a key part in maintaining the integrity of our CRM, processing and reporting on data, and contributing to the charity’s wider data transformation project – helping to modernise how Fight for Sight captures, integrates and uses data to drive insight and decision-making.
The post holder will support the development of new data processes, dashboards and analytics tools, working with the Database Manager to implement the organisation’s new data platform and reporting infrastructure.

Purpose of the job
To work with Thames21’s Head of Finance and The Roding Rises delivery team to oversee the administration of The Roding Rises, a three-year project supported by The National Lottery Heritage Fund that aims to kick-start the revitalisation of the River Roding. This position will work alongside Thames21’s Head of Finance and The Roding Rises Project Manager to ensure that every day finance functions for The Roding Rises project operate efficiently and accurately. To successfully deliver this job, the postholder will have a strong eye for detail and have experience in budget management/bookkeeping to ensure funding claims and invoices are paid on time.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Track project costs against projected budget to ensure budget vs actual expenditure is effectively managed, raising concerns early with Thames21’s head of finance and The Roding Rises project manager.
- Complete The National Lottery Heritage Fund claims process at agreed intervals to ensure an appropriate cash flow.
- Assist with relevant reporting tasks back to project funders.
- Work with the Thames21 Head of Finance and Thames21 Finance Officer to ensure all payments are completed in a timely manner in line with internal financial processes and any outstanding payments are managed in line with the approved funding agreement/ project proposal documentation.
- Support The Roding Rises project manager with the administration of the Roding Rises grants scheme.
- Support the development and integration of improved financial tracking and reporting processes across wider Thames21 Teams.

The role
This is a unique opportunity to join the Crisis at Christmas team as a Women’s Pathway coordinator at a hotel and way of working we are introducing for the first time in East London. The Women-led Pathway is specifically designed for women experiencing homelessness and is a women-led initiative grounded in a psychologically informed approach. Your aim will be to ensure guests have a positive experience, that we achieve the impact we want and that there is consistency throughout the duration of the project. Crisis at Christmas is innovative and achieves great things, we want you to be part of that.
The purpose of the role is to be the key on-site point of contact for volunteers, case managers, hotel staff and members of our security team. You will play a key role in ensuring Crisis at Christmas policies and procedures around volunteering, incident management, safeguarding and guest wellbeing and behaviour are being followed. You will ensure volunteers are supported with any issues, difficult conversations and incidents that may arise with our hotel guests.
You will be responsible for escalating any serious concerns or issues to the Guest services manager, Head of Christmas and on-call managers during the Christmas period who will all be able to provide advice and guidance for any issues you may encounter on site.
To be considered for the role you must be able to be on site at the hotel in London during the Christmas period. This will include working on Bank Holidays and weekends.

Experience required
- Previous experience managing or working intensively in services for women, ideally in a hostel or accommodation environment in the homelessness or related sector.

Shifts
You will also accrue annual leave during this work, which will be calculated according to statutory guidelines and will be paid in your final payslip. Holiday entitlement will be calculated as 12.07% of actual hours worked and equates to approximately £3.80 per hour for bank holidays worked and £2.40 per hour for non-bank holiday work.
