We are now seeking to appoint a Head of Policy Engagement to lead our engagement with policymakers and senior sectoral stakeholders under our four community-led missions and lead our customer support offer. Using your deep understanding of the political and social environment in which our grantholders operate, you will explore the context for new funding initiatives, including potential partnerships, ensuring that we are making the greatest impact possible.   

You will already have well established relationships with Welsh Government Departments, other funders and the voluntary and community sector and you will use this to share learning and insight from our funding, lead consultations and identify opportunities for future collaboration. You will convene both grantholder and stakeholder networks to inform our analysis and ensure that community voice is at the heart of our decision-making. 

Working with our Funding Team you will ensure we provide first class customer support leading our advice service and working closely in support of our outreach work, ensuring an appropriate level of general and targeting applicant and customer support. 

You will be part of a policy and practice network across the Fund, working collaboratively with colleagues across the UK to develop One-Fund approaches to our missions.

SEEAC is hiring a Welfare Support Officer (full-time or 4 days/week, 6-month maternity cover) to join our small, dedicated team supporting members of East and Southeast Asian communities in the UK.

SEEAC is a non-profit organisation that provides community-based support, especially to migrants, refugees and others facing marginalisation.

This role provides vital welfare advice, casework, and safeguarding support, including for those affected by hate crimes.

We're looking for someone with 3+ years’ experience in community or non-profit work, strong knowledge of UK welfare systems, and fluency in English and at least one ESEA language.

Key Responsibilities

• Promote and champion welfare within the community
• Provide confidential and objective casework advocacy for service users
• Safeguard the rights of survivors and witnesses of hate crimes, discrimination, and exploitation
• Administer SEEAC’s free mental health support services

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' professional or volunteer experience in community/non-profit settings, particularly in social justice
• Proven ability to communicate clearly, listen actively, and solve problems
• Knowledge of UK welfare systems and external support networks
• Experience managing casework databases and contributing to project budgeting
• Fluent in English and at least one ESEA (East and Southeast Asian) language
• Strong sense of responsibility, with commitment to safeguarding and confidentiality

Preferred Qualities

• Experience working with ESEA or other racialised/migrant/minoritised communities
• Familiarity with ESEA cultures and issues affecting these communities
• Exceptional interpersonal skills; able to build trust quickly with diverse stakeholders
• Lived experience related to migration, asylum, or refugee backgrounds is encouraged

Benefits

£29,120 - £30,576 per annum FTE (full-time equivalent) pro rata plus pension contribution. Flexible homework is offered in a hybrid setting, with in-person work based at the SEEAC office in East London. To create a better collaboration with other staff members, SEEAC, however, require all staff members to work in the office or on-site occasionally as required. Opportunities for skills development training are offered. This is a 6-month fixed-term contract, on a full-time or 4-days/week part-time (0.8 FTE) basis, for a September start. SEEAC’s full-time is 5 days per week (35hrs per week).

Originally founded in 1823, Seashell Trust is a nationally recognised and registered charity based in Cheadle Hulme, Stockport. The Trust comprises of the Royal School Manchester, the Royal College Manchester, bespoke Residential Care Homes, Outreach Health and Family Services that support over 8,000 people a year. About the role

Your role will contribute to Seashell’s ambitious plans to grow income over the next five years, so that we can deliver the very best education and care for our children and young adults.

Key Responsibilities

• Raise income in line with agreed personal and team fundraising targets
• Develop and prepare bespoke funding applications for capital, restricted and unrestricted projects
• Maintain and develop existing relationships with small and medium-sized trusts and foundations and support  prospecting to grow the portfolio.
• Record financial and other data relating to trusts, foundations and major donors on our CRM, in line with GDPR guidelines.
• Maintain accurate income records and ensure donations are acknowledged in a timely and appropriate way.
• Share project information, budgets and statistics gathered for appeals with the wider fundraising team.

• Previous experience in a fundraising role for a charitable organisation.

As a member of the newly formed Development Team, you will lead on supporter engagement for the School and its’ Students through effective fundraising communications and year-round event delivery. You will support prospect communications, and assure best-in-class stewardship of donors while enabling delivery of rights and benefits to Centenary sponsors and partners.

SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

This role will assist with day-to-day management of Royal Ballet School’s fundraising work to support retention of recurring income from existing streams and facilitate the onboarding of new donors.

Reporting to the Development Operations Manager, the post-holder will assist with the planning and delivery of a large number of year-round engagement events through in-house visits and performances, external events and ticketing management for centenary performances. This role will lead on all fundraising communications to donor and prospect segments, and oversee campaign tracking, while relying on accurate data use and record keeping. The role will also support the administrative processing of ad-hoc Legacy request donations.

MAIN DUTIES

Fundraising Communications:

• Lead on communications for the Team, segmenting prospects and donors, ensuring they receive regular and tailored emails
• Oversee key termly campaigns, sponsor reports and videos, event invitations and summer performance comms
• Use Dot Digital to send communications and securely hold and update donor contact information
• Work closely with the School’s Communications and Marketing department to advance design and content briefs as required. 

Event Planning & Delivery:

• Attend annual School calendar planning meetings
• Manage delivery of approx. 35+ in-house donor visits to Upper School and White Lodge all year round
• Support the delivery external events for existing donors as well as cultivation events for prospects
• Coordinate performance invitations, attendance and hospitality at Opera Holland Park, Linbury Theatre, and the Royal Opera House and other third party venues
• Log and track all event invitations, RSVPs and attendance through the CRM
• Work closely with the teaching staff to coordinate any activities that are student-facing. 

Donor Data Stewardship:

• Support the Donor Relations Team to administrate and deliver benefits to a portfolio of donors, sponsors and partners
• Work alongside Artistic, Academic, and Operational colleagues to ensure best Donor Experience
• Develop skills as an integral member of the Development Team in nurturing relationships with internal departments and external individual donors and trustees
• Keep accurate contact data and record keeping for the wider team reporting and monitoring needs

Legacy Gift Administration:

• Administrate Gifts in Wills from Legators working with executors and families and coordinating timelines for income with the Finance team
• Work with the team to build the ‘in memory’ programme for the School’s Centenary and ensuring subsequent ‘In-Memory’ benefits are delivered.

General Support:

• Support the Development Operations Manager and Head of Donor Relations with the evolving needs of the Development Office, as it seeks to grow income and impact in 2026 and beyond. 

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Essential Criteria:

• Willing to work collaboratively across all functions of the department and wider School
• Daily working knowledge of Windows PC systems and Microsoft Office programs
• Minimum of two years administrative and operational experience
• Experience in maintaining and managing a contacts database
• Experience of working in a non-profit or charity fundraising environment
• Confident and well presented with strong relationship management skills
• Ability to present information concisely and effectively, both verbally and in writing
• Good organisational skills with ability to prioritise work to meet tight deadlines
• Numerate with a meticulous attention to detail and able to understand budgets
• Flexible to assist at performances and events falling outside normal working hours

About you

Attention to detail and the ability to stay calm under pressure are a key part of this role, as is being highly motivated and able to engage with and inspire others. It is a busy role that will have many competing deadlines so the ability to prioritise and multi-task is also key.

PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS ASSISTANT

Hours of work: This is a full-time post (35 hours per week).

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and organised individual to join our team. In this role you will work closely with the Head of Professional Standards to deliver the BDA’s specialised services in a professional and efficient manner, working collaboratively and proactively with all stakeholders to make a positive contribution to our ambitious and caring organisation.

Key responsibilities include:

• Responding to queries and process assessment and membership requests promptly and professionally.
• Supporting the coordination and administration of assessments, accreditations, and memberships.
• Liaising with assessors, peer reviewers, and corporate clients, including upselling where appropriate.
• Maintaining accurate records across CRM and SharePoint, ensuring compliance with GDPR.
• Assisting with invoicing, reporting, and other finance-related admin tasks.
• Gathering and collating feedback to support service improvement.

The National Lottery Community Fund has an exciting opportunity to recruit a Communications Assistant to join the newly restructured communications and engagement function, supporting in the delivery of our strategy, It Starts With Community.

The role is part of our ambitious transformation as we implement a significant pivot in our communications approach – building on our support for grant-making to demonstrate the powerful impact communities have in strengthening society and improving lives.

As Communications Assistant, you will help colleagues across the department raise the profile of The National Lottery Community Fund ensuring our operation runs smoothly, providing effective planning and administrative support across the organisation.

You will provide support to the communications and engagement function by contributing to campaigns, assisting with budget and procurement processes, and managing content flow and communication touchpoints for customers and grant holders. 

This role sits within the Communications Strategy team, a UK-wide team designed to develop insight-driven plans for missions and developing portfolio key messages and campaigns. 

Key responsibilities:

• Cross-functional support for the Fund’s communications teams, including occasional executive assistant support to the department leadership team
• Provide organisational support to team members and other internal stakeholders as required
• Ensure stakeholder lists and other cross-functional assets are up to date, accurate and well-structured, including supporting with Stakeholder Relationship Management (SRM) as required
• Contribute to new campaigns and projects as required
• Assist in budget management and other financial matters, including procurement
• Effective management of the multiple communications touchpoints in the Fund’s customer journey cycle
• Accountable for managing the flow of content and information between the department and the rest of the Fund.

We are recruiting a Standards Policy Officer to join our small and friendly Standards and Regulation team.

About the role

The role of the Standards and Regulation function is to monitor newspaper, magazine and digital publishers’ compliance with the Editors’ Code of Practice and to take action to address concerns about editorial standards, including by undertaking investigations into serious standards failures as necessary. It’s a busy team that coordinates closely with others at IPSO and outside the organisation, engaging with members of the public, journalists, and experts on a wide variety of subjects. Some recent issues that the standards team has worked on are reporting of sexual offences, suicide, major incidents, and domestic abuse.

As the Standards Policy Officer, you will carry out a range of tasks, including analysing information drawn from complaints received by IPSO, supporting the annual statements process and engaging with a range of representative groups who have concerns about press reporting. You will work closely with the Head of Standards and other colleagues across IPSO.

This is a role for someone who is interested in news and journalism, has excellent communication and analytical skills, and enjoys working with others to achieve a shared purpose. Candidates who demonstrate relevant experience will be given an opportunity to demonstrate their skills through a written exercise prior to short-listing for interview. This means that we can measure candidates’ relevant skills directly and make a fairer decision on which applications to take forward.

International Care Network is a Christian charity whose aim is to help to rebuild the lives of refugees, asylum seekers and vulnerable migrants. We are looking for two experienced support workers to support individuals and families under all relevant Government resettlement schemes (predominantly Afghan, but not limited to), who have been resettled in Bournemouth, Christchurch, Poole and Dorset. The case load for one of these roles will be primarily, but not exclusively based in Dorset (primarily Weymouth, Dorchester and Sherborne) and so travel to these locations will be a significant element of the role. The caseload for the other role will be primarily based in BCP, but travel to Dorset will still be expected. You will need a valid UK driving licence, your own reliable vehicle and to be a confident driver for this role.
