The Senior Immigration Solicitor (Violence Against Women and Girls & Migrant Justice) will lead on complex immigration casework and strategic legal interventions, with a particular focus on supporting Black, minoritised, and migrant (BMM) women affected by violence against women and girls (VAWG), especially those with insecure immigration status or no recourse to public funds (NRPF).

This is a senior role requiring a high degree of professional autonomy, decision-making, and initiative. While the postholder will be formally accountable to the Head of Community Engagement and Legal Services, they will operate with minimal day-to-day supervision, taking a lead in shaping casework strategy, driving systemic change, and strengthening SBS’s legal offer.

The Role

Reporting into our Customer and Neighbourhood Director, you'll be responsible for the development of strategies, policies and procedures relating to all tenancy sustainment activities. Being a specialist in this field, you'll also scan the horizon to identify potential significant changes in external policy and financial landscape, introducing best practice from other organisations and sectors.

You'll be the main point of contact internally for all matters relating to tenancy sustainment, working collaboratively across the business to ensure that consistent best practices are embedded within Locality teams and the wider business. Externally, you'll represent SNG and our commitment and vision in tenancy sustainment – influencing and working alongside key external stakeholders and delivery partners, building relationships aligned to our corporate and customer strategies.

Key responsibilities include:

• Working with internal and external stakeholders to provide and source expert advice, and manage the development of services, to ensure SNG meets its commitments, monitors its performance and evidences its delivery relating to regulatory obligations, changing regulations, guidance and best practice

SLRA is a well-established local migrant support organisation working with and for refugees, asylum seekers and other migrants who are at risk or in crisis as a result of immigration issues. We provide specialist immigration advice (SLRA is regulated to provide advice at IAA Level 3) as well as a broad range of practical, social and therapeutic support services. We are seeking a qualified Specialist ISVA (Independent Sexual Violence Advisor) to join our Advocacy team at Respond. The role includes providing pro-active emotional, practical and advocacy support for adults with learning disabilities and autistic people with complex or multiple needs who have experienced any form of sexual violence and are engaging, (or considering engaging) with the criminal justice system. The ISVA will work across London to provide non-judgmental, trauma-informed emotional support, working in partnership with other London sexual violence support services.

WCCM seeks to appoint an experienced, creative, and highly motivated Grant and Major Donor Fundraising Manager to lead fundraising and grant management across a global organisation dedicated to the teaching of Christian Meditation. Working to the Executive Director, you will interact with our decentralised finance, marketing and communications staff and volunteers.  Together, you will nurture Major Donor relationships and create and manage appropriate donor stewardship schemes and rationalise our income streams. Many families we work with also struggle with hunger, grief and anxiety, and just don’t know where to turn for support. Our volunteers are a lifeline to hundreds of families each year, offering one-to-one home-visiting and a wide range of support for parents to ensure that their children have the best start in life. We are seeking a Volunteering and Engagement Coordinator to recruit and develop a diverse team of volunteers, to support our work with families in Barnet, Brent and Harrow.

This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, forward thinking change-maker to test new approaches to engaging with local communities and potential volunteers. You will understand the importance of brand and positive messaging, and will be able to use a variety of techniques including social media to promote volunteering opportunities to different communities of interest.

Additionally, the postholder will be an inclusive and engaging communicator, with the ability to build supportive relationships with a diverse group of volunteers. The postholder will ensure that volunteers receive training, development and supervision to support the families we work with, and that high standards of practice are maintained. You will promote initiatives to increase the retention of existing volunteers and ensure that they are recognised and rewarded for their work.

The work requires a combination of field-based community engagement and training in Barnet, Brent and Harrow and regular days in the office which is in Finchley, Barnet.

Location:  Hybrid working between the Aldgate, London office and home.

About the role:

The Digital Campaigns Officer role aims to increase the effectiveness of Friends of the Earth’s online actions to engage new supporters and mobilise activists. You will be responsible for putting together the majority of our online actions around the most important environmental justice issues at local, national and international level.

Located in the Campaign Activism team there is a strong emphasis on delivery, as well as proactive implementation of new ideas, creation of reports, and monitoring effectiveness.

Through testing, reporting and applying best practice, you will be helping create online actions that drive new supporters to Friends of the Earth and - ultimately - help us win our campaigns.

Working closely with the digital, marketing, and campaigns teams, you'll optimize our online actions for campaign success. This means making sure actions are supporter-centric, clearly communicating results, and flexibility in supporting your colleagues and channel owners.

About the team:

The Digital Campaigns Officer is part of the Campaign Activism team, which works to make sure that our campaigns work effectively with our activist network, our international network, and makes best use of our supporter base for campaigning. You’ll also be working with a wide range of teams and campaigns across the organisation, including the marketing and digital teams.

About you:

We’re looking for someone who has some understanding of online campaigning, can pick up digital tools quickly, and who is comfortable writing high-quality copy sometimes to tight deadlines. You’ll be working across a variety of different campaigns, so will need to be a well-organised communicator and pick up ideas quickly.

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic (Senior) Research Officer. This exciting role involves undertaking research on gambling related financial harms and engaging with stakeholders in financial services firms to practically apply our research to their work. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent critical thinking, research and policy development skills, with the ability to digest complex information quickly and appraise firms work against regulatory requirements, best practice examples and policy recommendations.

The successful candidate will primarily work as part of the Gambling Harms Action Lab team where we’re bringing together seven representatives from financial services firms to explore ways to reduce gambling related financial harms. The (Senior) Research Officer will be an integral part of the team working to tackle gambling related financial harms through delivering timely and insightful research and consultancy support. 

We are looking for an exceptional team member who is driven to create meaningful change and is passionate about tackling gambling related financial harms. The successful candidate should have a genuine commitment to our organisation's mission, as well as to the principles of equality, diversity and inclusion. 

Finally, we’re looking for an individual who can work independently and as part of a team, with strong organisational skills, who can manage their own time, meet deadlines reliably, plan work effectively and drive work forward.

Key tasks in the role will include: 

• Developing and maintaining a strong understanding of key developments in gambling and financial services sectors, including regulatory guidance and best practice.

• Developing and strengthening relationships within financial services firms by delivering support to practically apply existing and new research to financial services work with customers with experience of mental health problems and or gambling harms. 

• Collaborating, brainstorming and analysing to identify potential policy solutions to address gambling related financial harms. 

• Collating insights from our Research Community of people with lived experience of mental health problems, and sharing these learnings through insight reports and briefings with financial services and other stakeholders.

• Supporting the Head of the Gambling Harms Action Lab with monitoring and measuring the impact of our work, engaging with key stakeholders, and suggesting innovative new ways to increase our impact. 

• Supporting other teams within the organisation to deliver our programme of research and consultancy work
