Requirements:

About the Role

The role of the Media Officer is to support Reprieve’s communications through traditional and social media, in support of the organisation’s strategic and fundraising objectives. You will be responsible for building relationships with journalists, providing media advice to Reprieve staff, and working with colleagues to ensure external messaging is consistent in quotes, briefings, social media content, and on Reprieve’s website. You will help to find and develop stories, collaborating with journalists and external partners on media that has an impact: revealing human rights abuses, shaping policy and raising the profile of our clients.

The Centre for Justice Innovation is looking to recruit a creative, pragmatic and committed individual to help the Centre promote criminal justice reform in the UK, including championing and supporting the implementation of evidence-based specialist and problem-solving courts in the justice system.

The Practice Officer will work directly with frontline practitioners, such as probation, police, court staff and specialist 3rd sector practitioners, to test new approaches and embed evidence-led interventions. This includes supporting the expansion of specialist and problem-solving approaches at court that seek to address the underlying issues that lead to offending. • Developing relationships with Job Centres and local referral agencies to ensure that the maximum number of Spear Trainees are enrolled on each programme. This involves liaising with referral agencies, active face-to-face recruitment and monitoring recruitment statistics.

• Continually engaging in professional development, including being part of Resurgo’s wider coaching programmes and supporting the Church Partnerships Managers with overall team training and development.

The Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH) is seeking an experienced and strategic Financial Controller to oversee the financial management, control and compliance functions of the College.

This is a pivotal leadership role within the Finance team, supporting the College’s mission to improve child health by ensuring strong financial governance, sound reporting, and long-term sustainability. Working closely with the Associate Director of Finance and senior leaders across the organisation, you will take responsibility for the accuracy, integrity and efficiency of all financial operations and reporting processes.

As Financial Controller, you will lead a team of six, overseeing financial control, statutory reporting, payroll, and compliance. You will ensure that robust internal controls are in place, and manage relationships with auditors, banks and investment partners.

This role will suit a qualified accountant with substantial experience in financial management and a collaborative leadership style.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the delivery of accurate and timely month-end and year-end processes, including group consolidations and statutory accounts
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant accounting standards, tax, audit and charity regulations (including SORP)
• Managing internal and external audit processes and acting as primary contact for auditors
• Overseeing payroll, accounts payable and receivable, cash management and treasury functions
• Maintaining and improving financial systems, processes, and internal controls
• Leading, developing and mentoring a team of finance professionals to achieve operational excellence
• Working closely with colleagues across the College to provide financial insight and analysis to support strategic decision-making
• Supporting the budgeting and forecasting cycle and contributing to strategic projects and funding initiatives

Essential skills and experience:

• Degree in finance, accounting or related field, and full professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Minimum of 5–7 years’ experience in financial management, ideally within the nonprofit or public sector
• Proven track record of leading statutory reporting and year-end audit processes, including production of group consolidated accounts
• Experience managing financial operations in a complex organisation, preferably in the charity or healthcare sector
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
• Advanced Excel and strong working knowledge of financial systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate at all levels
• Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to manage and motivate a high-performing team

Our Client is a UK charity supporting vulnerable women and families facing unexpected pregnancy or pregnancy loss. Through supported housing, a helpline and counselling service, and practical, non-judgemental support, this Charity helps pregnant women, often aged 16-25 and in crisis due to homelessness, abuse, or other trauma, build safer, more stable futures. Philanthropy Manager

Part time, 21 hours per week over 3 days

Home-based with frequent travel to supporter locations; occasional travel to Leamington Spa Head Office

£36,000-£40,000 per annum (FTE)

The Philanthropy Manager will manage and grow a portfolio of dedicated major donors, developing inspiring, personalised supporter journeys that deepen engagement and secure repeat and increased gifts. Working within a committed and supportive team, you'll raise awareness of the Charity's services, build mutually beneficial relationships, and deliver sustainable long-term support through thoughtful cultivation, compelling proposals, and excellent stewardship.

Reporting to the Head of Fundraising and working closely with the Individual Giving Manager and wider fundraising colleagues, you will proactively identify and research prospects, plan targeted approaches, and lead solicitations. The role will also engage with senior church contacts (e.g. Archbishops and diocesan representatives) who have a history of support; while the Charity is non-religious and non-political, you'll bring sensitivity and confidence operating within these settings to advance shared philanthropic goals.

The successful candidate will bring a strong track record of securing four- and five-figure gifts, crafting persuasive cases for support, and managing high-value pipelines from identification to stewardship. You'll be a collaborative relationship-builder with excellent written and verbal communication, rigorous research skills, and the ability to tailor engagement for diverse audiences while upholding the Charity's values and client-centred ethos.
